*The battle between Valt and Bella was about to begin and Bella looked down at her bey as her eyes began to glow*

Valt: Looks like Athena had stopped her from turning into the darkness.. Not bad Athena, not bad at all..

*Bella held up her bey, Perfect Origin Beherit as it started to glow brightly*

Bella: We're going to win.

*Valt just looked at her, his eyes glowing too*

Valt: We'll see. 

*A crowd of bladers started to gather around the stadium, including Main who was only watching from the doorway*

*Athena volunteered to be referee and she stepped up to the stadium*

Athena: Alright! First Battle!!

*Both bladers took their positions and Bella started to come up with a plan*

Bella: Perfect Valkyrie, it's an attack type just like my Beherit, if i'm lucky then maybe i can throw it off balance and then land the finishing blow on it. That just might work, let's try it Beherit... let's redeem ourselves!

*Bella looked around her and the crowd was chanting Valts name, not a single one in the room was rooting for her*

Bella: It's fine.. i'm not here to be loved by fans, i want to get stronger and this time i'll do it the right way and i'll prove it to the ones who think of me as a monster.

Valt: She doesn't seem fazed by the lack of people cheering for her, she's blocking out the distractions and focusing on the battle in front of her.. that's the way it should be. Just focus on the battle and nothing else.

Athena: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Perfect Origin Beherit was racing around the stadium at full speed as Valkyrie was actually circling around the center*

Bella: Now go! Beherit!!

*Beherit uses the High Driver combined with its Upgrade to stop itself in its tracks and redirect itself towards Valkyrie*

Valt: I won't let you!

*Valkyrie dodges the attack and Beherit went speeding into the wall hard and took a large amount of damage*

Bella: Tch..!

Valt: Now go!!

*Valkyrie was now on the move as it tilts on the POM part of its driver, speeding up as the driver itself was starting to shrink down*

Bella: Here it comes..!

Valt: Perfect Sword V!!!

*Valkyrie slashes across Beherit and launches it into the air, Beherit lands on the wall and recovers, staying in the game*

Bella: We've lasted this long so now we're going to show off what we can really do..!!

*Beherit hits the rim of the stadium and starts to pick up some incredible speed*

Bella: Perfect High Flash!!

*Beherit gains a ton of speed and clashes with Valkyrie at full strength, knocking it back*

Valt: Not bad, but we're just getting started.

*Valkyrie hits the wall and its rubber blades began to absorb the impact*

Valt: Perfect Jet V!!

*Valkyrie rebounds off the wall and it comes charging in straight for Beherit at full speed and knocks it out of the stadium in one attack*

Bella: W-What?!

Athena: Perfect Valkyrie with an Over Finish! The Point standings are now 1-0!!

*The crowd around the stadium burst into cheers and Bella reached down and picked up her bey*

Bella: It's all fine Beherit, we'll win the next one for sure..

*Main watched from the side and he looked at Bella who was smiling*

Main: She's currently losing.. Why is she smiling..?

*Valt smiled as he held up his bey, the blue 3 sided bey glowing a blue and gold light*

Valt: That wasn't half bad at all. But now, the 2nd battle will now begin.

*Bella just stared at Valt with an intense expression, her green eyes glowing and her restored Aura glowing around her*

Bella: Beherit, let's give it all we got..!!

Athena: 2nd Battle

*Both bladers take their position and the 2nd battle began*

Athena: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off once again and Beherit was wasting no time going on the attack*

Valt: Wait what?!

Bella: Beherit, attack!!

*Beherit clashes with Valkyrie and began to launch an all out assault upon it, knocking it around*

Valt: Watch out Valkyrie, get out of there!

*Valkyrie managed to get out of the way and it was now on the move as its speed hadn't dropped at all*

Bella: Beherit, keep on going! Show no mercy!!

*Beherit comes in and lands another strike, knocking Valkyrie away*

Valt: It's time! Final Perfect Reboot!!

*Valkyrie started to pick up speed thanks to the Final Reboot' Driver activating and it rocketed around the stadium at full speed*

Bella: Go! Beherit!!

*Beherit was starting to pick up speed too and the eyes started to glow as Bella yelled out with full determination, her eyes glowing with a golden light, Main from the sidelines was in awe at what he was seeing*

Main: Is she...?!

*Beherit kept on going and its black and red color scheme changed to a gold and red color scheme, its power getting even higher*

Valt: What is that?

Athena: What the-?!

Bella: Beherit!!

*Beherit climbed the slope of the stadium as its golden aura trailed behind it*

*Main was in absolute shock at what he was seeing, Bella could also use Golden Sparkle*

Main: She... can use it too?!

Valt: End this with all you've got! Full power!!

*The 2 beys clashed back and forth and Beherit wasn't backing down at all, its Golden Sparkle shimmering brightly*

Valt: End this!

Bella: Full power!!

*Beherit and Valkyrie were launched high into orbit and they came falling back down and Beherits Golden Sparkle vanished! Both beys were nearly out of stamina*

Valt: Valkyrie!!

Bella: Beherit!!

*The beys eventually came to a complete stop and Valkyrie held out a second longer, resulting in Valts point*

Bella: N-No way..!

Athena: Perfect Valkyrie with a Spin Finish! Valt Aoi wins with a score of 2-0!!

*Valt picked up his bey and smiled at Bella who picked up her bey but she didn't look as upset as he had thought*

Valt: That was a great battle, you really had me there for a minute.

*Bella nodded and smiled*

Bella: I could feel the power Beherit had surging through me.. it's as if it was calling out to me and responding to the emotions that i felt in the battle.

Valt: That's good. You're learning the next big step in what it means to Beyblade.

Bella: Having fun..

Valt: Exactly. Winning is nice but it's not always about that, there is more to Beyblade than just winning.

*Bella nodded and smiled, she held her bey in her hand as it began to glow*

Bella: I'll take what i've learned and i'll use that even after i leave here.

Valt: That's great, hopefully i'll see you soon.

*Athena and Bella left the BC Sol Gym and they stood outside for a bit*

Athena: Well you may have lost but you did well not tapping back into the darkness. I'm proud of you for that.

Bella: I could feel how much Beherit wanted to win.. well there's always next time.

Athena: Yeah..

Bella: What was the lesson that Lui was going to teach me?

Athena: To never rely solely on raw strength. It helps but not forever, you need strategy and technique to go alongside that raw power, something that Lui has always been a master at.

Bella: I see..

Athena: Lui has his way of saying and doing things but he would've trained you as hard as he could. However your state back then was more then what he bargained for and i really can't say i blame him.

Bella: I want to redeem myself from all of that. I don't want people to see me as a monster, i want to be the person you saw in me, i really do..

Athena: And i even have a lesson for you as well, one i should've given a long time ago.

Bella: And what's that?

Athena: Never ever change who you really are. If you're happy with being the person that you are now then that's the kind of person you need to be. You don't need to change yourself or redeem yourself just to appease the audience, you are fully obligated to do whatever you want, i just want you to be careful with how you do it.

Bella: Athena..

Athena: The darkness can really overwhelm the toughest of bladers if they aren't careful..

*Athena remembered her times fighting the darkness in her heart in past and her journey to save Lane*

Athena: Believe me, we know..

Bella: Who do you think did that to me? I want to know..

Athena: I don't know, i'm willing to bet it was Main.

Bella: That guy?

Athena: I had my doubts that maybe he wouldn't go that far but now that he has shown his face here and even challenged the likes of Valt and Free and lost to both of them, i don't have a single doubt that he was the one behind you going dark.

Bella: Wait THE Free De La Hoya?!

Athena: Oh that's right, you haven't even met Free yet.. i don't think we'll have time to face off with him but maybe i can bring you back one day.

Bella: I know who Free is. Does he have an Origin Bey?

Athena: If he was able to beat Main then surely he does, there's no way he managed to beat him with a Dynamite Battle System Bey.

*Bella began to think for a moment and she finally came to a decision*

Bella: I want to face him. I want to battle Main again and now!

Athena: Are you sure? The last time you faced him, you lost pretty badly.

Bella: I know but now i'm stronger and i have all of the Origin Fragments, just like you said, the only way i can beat Main is if i have all the Origin Fragments equipped on Beherit.

Athena: Yeah but you haven't exactly mastered the new ones you received yet, i mean you crushed Rashad but lost to me and Valt since you got those new upgrades, you haven't been on a consistent winning streak.

Bella: I can make it work. If Valt and Free were able to beat him then who says i can't?

Athena: Because you aren't on the same level as those two. I'm sorry but its the truth.. If you were to fight Main now then who knows what will happen, worst case scenario, Beherit is destroyed by him.

Bella: And what makes you think that's going to happen, i would never allow that to happen. 

Athena: I once thought the same thing. I've had my bey destroyed 4 times, things like that happen whether we want them to or not.

Bella: Thing is, i will never ever let Main get the best of me, i don't care if he comes at me with his full strength, i will knock him out of the park!

Athena: There is also that golden light Beherit let out earlier, i'm curious about that.

Bella: I-I don't know what that was..!

Athena: I do. It's a strange phenomenon like Gold Turbo and Flare, it's called Golden Sparkle.

Bella: Golden Sparkle?

Athena: I read about it in an old legend. Only the beys that wield the power of light are able to harness its power and use it.

Bella: What does it do?

Athena: It apparently grants the bey a temporary power boost and somehow makes the bey even stronger than ever. Main apparently hasn't mastered it considering he lost to Valt and Free.

Bella: Well i wouldn't really regard Beherit as a bey of light.. so how did i acquire it?

Athena: You have a strange connection with him.

Bella: A connection?

Athena: Me and Lane have a similar connection with each other but with you and Main, it's harder to describe or even explain.

Bella: Is that how he could've corrupted me?

Athena: I'm almost certain of it. Lane corrupted me in the past in the same way.

Bella: So what do i do?

Athena: Well this connection you have with him isn't going away and you can't control it no matter what.. it's best to just try and deal with what it throughs at you, the more you figure it out the better.

*The 2 headed along and they went back to El Santo to train for a bit more*

---The Next Morning---

*Bella had gotten up a bit earlier and she decided to go to El Santo a bit earlier to train. as she got there, Main Kuromi was standing there waiting for her*

Bella: It's you..

Main: I've been waiting for you, Bella Akazara.

Bella: You've been waiting for me? Why?

*Main Kuromi held up his Primary Michael as it started to glow*

Main: That Golden Sparkle of yours, i want to see how well it compares to mine.

Bella: So you want to test my skills since the last time we've battled. Fine then but things will not end the way they did in Japan.

Main: We'll see about that soon enough. The Golden Sparkle Beherit contains is rightfully mine and i will drain it away from you in this battle, once that's done i will end Beherit and destroy it.

Bella: Yeah as if! I will never let that happen.

*Both bladers got set up at the stadium and the 1st battle began*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Michael was already in the center and Beherit came charging in*

Bella: Now go! Perfect High Shoot!!

*Beherit comes charging in and begins to fire off a barrage of attacks at Michael*

Main: Attacks like those won't even scratch Michael! Primary Dagger!!

*Using the Spiked Armor, Michael sends Beherit flying and into the wall*

Bella: Keep on going Beherit! Show them no mercy!!

Main: The one showing no mercy is me!!

*Beherit and Michael clashed back and forth as neither of them were backing down, they seemed evenly matched*

Main: Not bad. You've gained some skill since our last battle but that just won't be enough to save you!

*Michael comes back around and lands another fierce attack*

Bella: Hold on tight Beherit!

*Beherit was knocked into the wall but used its rubber to absorb the blow and keep going*

Bella: Go forth! Beherit!!

*Beherit started to glow again with its own Golden Sparkle and it began to speed up*

Main: There it is again..

Bella: It's over! Blow them away now!!

*Beherits speed wasn't dropping as it came straight for Michael, its blades glowing bright*

Main: Do it! Michael!!

Main: Now! Primary Sphere!!

*The beys clashed with full force and the stadium exploded with a blinding white light and both beys were sent flying into the air and hit the ground at the same time, resulting in a draw.*

Main: Tch.. a draw...!!

Bella: Well at least we didn't lose anything..

*Bella looked back over at her opponent who stared at her with furious eyes*

Main: You...!!

*Bella looked down at her bey and noticed something odd, she could see small cracks forming in the layer and she could even see cracks in the more exposed Origin Fragments..*

Bella: Beherit... I-It can't be...
