*The next day had finally arrived and the battle between Bella and Athena was about to begin. Bella waited around in the waiting area as she waited to be called up to her match and she spoke to Shu about Rangara staying behind.*

Bella: Rangara isn't coming with us?!

Shu: Main completely crushed him in battle and it motivated him to get even stronger but however, he has decided to stay behind here at the New York Bulls.

Bella: How... how could something like that happen?!

Shu: Rangara will be fine though. I will train him as best as i can.

Bella: Rangara...

Shu: Your battle is going to start shortly, you should be going.

*Bella nodded and she headed on her way to her battle*

---Meanwhile---

*Athena was walking with Lane who was walking her to her match*

Lane: Bella Akazara and Origin Beherit, both of them are scary opponent especially after she defeated Shu like that. I'd advise caution against her.

Athena: You worry too much. I'll be fine.

Lane: Still, you need a solid plan in order to fight Bella. She's already proven she is not a force to be reckoned with.

Athena: I don't necessarily care about that. I just want to have a fun battle with her, that's all.

Lane: Well, you do you i guess.

---A Minute Or So Later---

*The match was finally beginning and both bladers stepped up to the stadium, the crowd was cheering super loudly, as they should since Athena was currently the reigning American Champion*

Athena: It's been a little bit but i think i'm finally ready to take you on again!

Bella: Yeah, i've been wanting to battle you again for some time now!

*Bella held up her Origin Beherit which started to glow brightly*

Bella: Just like how i beat Shu, i'll end this with an explosive burst finish!

Lane: She's already declaring she'll win the battle and the battle hasn't even started yet.

Shu: She's trying to get inside Athenas head. That may have worked on the old Athena but this new version of herself is more experienced and stronger than she was back then.. saying the battle will be over in just 1 burst is childs play.

Lane: You really have no hope of her winning? She kicked your hide remember?!

Shu: That may be true but Bella is going up against a somewhat familiar but extremely powerful opponent. This battle won't end the same way it did yesterday.

Athena: Declaring victory before the battle even begins huh? I like your enthusiasm but let's see you draw it out in the stadium.

Referee: First Battle!!

Bella: Legacy Adeona.. a bey with rubber attack, metal and a Bound attack system within its layer. In order to beat it, i need to break through the threshold that is its bound attack as it can just absorb my attacks as well. This is Athena we're talking about here too, she probably has some special strategy concocted in her head.

Athena: Even with just 1 Origin Fragment in its arsenal and 4 remaining, it managed to burst Spriggan with all it had. If Adeona takes a direct hit from something like that then it'll be over for sure. However, i didn't show off all of my cards when i battled Rangara at that time, this time i'll be unleashing Adeonas true potential.

*Both bladers took their position and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and both of them raced around the stadium with great speed*

Bella: Go, Beherit!

Athena: Get in there! Adeona!!

*The beys head into the center and clash hard with all their force as sparks began to fly*

Athena: Push them back!!

Bella: I won't let you!!

*Beherit and Adeona were blown back and Adeona hits the wall as Beherit landed safely. Athena watched, a bit surprised as Bella simply smiled, this was her chance*

Bella: You know what to do Beherit!

*Beherit tilts on its High Driver as it began to spark*

Bella: High Shoot!!

*Beherit gained a huge burst of speed as it sped up and chased after Adeona as the rubber on its Deluxe' driver began to spark violently*

Athena: Deluxe Dance!!

*Adeona was able to use the wide shape and the rubber of its Deluxe' driver to evade Beherits attack, one that could've ended the battle right there and then*

Bella: That's so amazing! You're so awesome Athena!!

*Beherit on the other hand wasn't losing any speed and it kept on going*

Bella: End this now! Origin Thunder!!

*Beherit clashes with Adeona and sends it flying into the air and just like that, it knocks it out of the stadium with one blow. Athena wasn't even surprised at all*

Referee: Origin Beherit with an Over Finish! Bella Akazara earns 1 point!!

*The crowd burst into loud cheers once again as the point standings were now 0-1. Athena went back and retrieved her bey as Bella started to laugh*

Lane: Athena lost the first battle just like that?

Shu: She's playing around with Bella before she actually gets serious.

Lane: What do you mean "playing around"?

Shu: Bella and Athena love each other as siblings so of course they'd start off the match with a simple friendly battle. Now that Bella has taken the 1st point, Athena will finally start getting serious.

Lane: Are you saying she was never serious from the start?

Shu: Possibly. Athena right now only cares about having a fun battle with Bella, winning or losing isn't on her mind at the moment, that's the kind of blader Athena wants to see and draw out in Bella.

Bella: Looks like the first point is ours.

Athena: I have to give you some congratulations there.

Bella: Why?

Athena: I could tell you weren't using your full strength and i don't blame you, i wasn't using my full strength either.

Bella: Y-You weren't?!

Athena: Of course not, i wanted to see where you stood in power so in the 2nd battle, i could end this battle with all of my power. You're the only one worth enough to face my true strength, not even Lane could ever face this power.

*An angelic aura of light was coming off of Athena like it was some kind of aurora. Athena may have lost her ability to use Flare but her fiery spirit still remained*

Bella: That's... incredible...!! Athena was hiding this much power this whole time!?

*Main Kuromi was watching the battle from the crowd and his aura was starting to glow as well, his stamina type Primary Michael resided in his hand*

Main: Athena Valhalla, the only one worthy of facing your true power is me and i'll be the one to crush you in front of everyone in this arena..!!

*Main just smirked as his aura started to glow more intensely*

Referee: Second Battle!!

Bella: If Athena is going to fight with her full strength then i wonder what kind of power she'll display this time.

Athena: Bella, i've wanted to battle you like this since i met you at the Castle Of Demise. A public battle between us for the world to see is something the blading world deserves to witness. Let's go Adeona!

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and Adeona was spinning even faster than before*

Bella: So fast!

*The rubber on the Deluxe' Driver began to spark once again and Adeona started to accelerate*

Athena: Deluxe Dance!!

*Adeona began to land a vicious onslaught of attacks on Beherit, not letting it escape and not giving it a chance to recover, it was an all out assault*

Bella: Keep on going Beherit, you can do this!!

*Beherit just barely managed to get out but Adeona was coming back around for the blow*

Bella: High Shoot!!

*Beherit rushes ahead and comes back around to meet Adeonas attack head on*

Athena: Legacy Bound!!

*Beherit and Adeona collide with all their force and power and Beherit was the one sent flying*

Bella: It can't be!

Athena: Is this all you can do?

Bella: W-What?!

Athena: If this all you got then this battle is as good as decided!

*Beherit lands on the upper deck and headed into the Secondary Stadium and began to pick up speed*

Bella: We're not going to lose here, i absolutely will not lose!

*Beherit charges in for the attack as its blades began to glow*

Bella: Origin Thunder!!

*Beherit clashes with Adeona and sent it flying in return*

Bella: How's that?!

Athena: Not bad but your time is up.

*Adeona hits the wall and began to ride the upper deck as it started to pick up speed*

Athena: Adeona! It's time!!

Bella: We're not losing this, we'll fight to the very end! Beherit rise!!

*Adeona took a little trip inside the Secondary Stadium and it raced out and raced into the main arena towards Beherit*

Athena/Bella: Let's go!!

*The beys clash with full force as the stadium erupts with a fiery explosion. Everyone in the crowd had to shield their face from its intensity! Both beys were sent flying and Adeona was the one who survived the blow fully, Beherit was losing stamina quick*

Bella: Oh no! Keep hanging in there Beherit!!

*Adeona comes racing in, its 4 blades glowing with a streak of purple energy*

Athena: Legacy Saber!!

*Adeona charges in and clashes with Beherit, knocking it into the air and bursting it with a brutal attack*

Bella: W-What the-!?

Referee: Legacy Adeona with a burst finish! With a final score of 2-1, Athena Valhalla wins!!

*Bella fell to her knees in absolute despair at the fact that she had lost, it was a heart wrenching thought for her to accept*

Lane: So she lost after all..

Shu: Yeah, however i think this taught Bella a valuable lesson. Strength isn't always key to beyblade, its so much more than that.

Lane: That's right. Athena has a habit of doing that.

Shu: This was the last battle before they had to leave to go to Japan, i'm curious to see how Bella grows. Hopefully she can master the rest of the Origin Fragments when she gets her hands on them.

*Athena went over and lifted Bella into her arms and placed her on her shoulders*

Athena: Even though you lost, your efforts will not go unnoticed by the American spectators.

Bella: Athena...

Athena: I know a good ice cream shop just down the road from here if you want some?

Bella: Yay for ice cream!

*The door on Athenas side of the stadium opened up and another blader was standing at the door, to Athenas overwhelming surprise, it was Main Kuromi*

Athena: You again..?!

Bella: That's... Main!

*Main finally reached the stadium and he stood in front of Athena who had let Bella get off her shoulders*

Main: So i hear you and your little friend are going to the Demon King.

*Athenas eyes narrowed as Main continued his speech*

Main: However, you aren't going anywhere.. not until i have completely and utterly defeated you in front of everyone in this arena!

*Athena looked back at the stadium which had been completely scorched from the battle she just had with Bella, it was in no condition to battle*

Athena: Do you not see the condition of the stadium? It's in no position to take another intense battle again.

*Main turned and started to walk off*

Main: Then we'll battle tomorrow. No exceptions.

*Main walked away and Athena just watched as he headed back into the shadows*

---Later that day---

*Athena and Bella met up with Rangara who confronted them on his decision*

Bella: So you're really leaving..

Rangara: My battle with Main was a wakeup call that i can't keep lagging behind anymore. I want to get stronger on my own that way i can get my payback on that guy

Bella: Rangara..

Athena: I respect that. I have my own personal issues with Main but i will do what i can to make sure something like that doesn't happen again. Whenever you wanna come back, just give me a call.

*Rangara nodded and he looked out the window of the New York Bulls*

Athena: Is there anything you can tell me about Primary Michael? I need to know something before my battle with him tomorrow.

Rangara: The data was right. It's stamina is off the charts, in fact it's astronomical in comparison to any bey thats ever existed and it has surprisingly strong attack power for a stamina type as well.

Athena: I see..

Rangara: And that isn't all. There is something more sinister behind that bey? I heard rumors that it takes the abilities and attributes of the beyblade worlds strongest enemies like Phoenix, Lucifer and more.

Athena: I... I thought that was just a myth.

Rangara: Not anymore... i could feel the power of that bey as it shattered my bey into pieces..

Bella: Is there any way we can stop it.

Athena: I don't know but we'll find a way. Even if it takes some time, we're going to find a way to beat Michael.

---Meanwhile---

*Main Kuromi stands on the top of the Empire State Building as he overlooks the entire city of New York, his bey glowed in his hand*

Main: Athena Valhalla, i've been waiting for the day where i give you what you deserve. The same pain and embarrassment i felt when i lost the way i did..

*The avatar of Michael loomed over Main as his aura started to glow*

Main: Nothing can stop me now... once i defeat Athena and put her in her place then the entire world will know my name!

---That Night---

*Athena stood outside in the Valhalla Manor Backyard as she looked up into the starry sky, thoughts of the battle for the following day rushed through her head*

Athena: Adeona, let's do our best tomorrow.. i don't want myself to look bad in front of Bella or Rangara, both of them are counting on me.

*Athenas bey began to glow with a white aura as it shined brightly*

Athena: I'm glad you understand, Adeona. Let's go get some rest.

*Athena went back inside and she went to bed*

---The Next Day---

*The day of the battle between Athena and Main was now starting with no delays or anything! The Zero Stadium had been fixed up from the battle between Bella and Athena the day before so everything was ready! Both bladers stepped up to the stadium*

Athena: Well it's been some time since we've battled like this.

Main: Indeed it has.

Athena: You're not still mad at what happened back then, are you?

*Main straightened as his eyes narrowed in anger*

Main: Don't act like you don't know what you did.. you destroyed my bey in this very arena.

Athena: How many times do i need to say that it was an accident.

Main: There are no accidents when you destroy someones bey and play it off the way you did. Today i will be returning the favor i owed you since then!

Athena: I know one thing, you're consumed by your own rage, the Snake Pit has no input in your behavior at all.

Referee: First Battle!!

Athena: Primary Michael... from what Rangara told me, it has a ton of stamina and defensive power. Considering it's a Stamina Type, i have the type advantage however i can't rely solely on that regard. I'll battle casually for now and build a strategy in the 2nd battle.

Main: Brace yourself White Sun! Your days of glory are over!

Bella: I wonder if Athena even has a plan.

Shu: Considering this is a new opponent for her, she'll likely test the waters first before going all out. Against someone like him, that's the smartest thing to do in this scenario.

Bella: You think she can win?

Shu: Maybe. We'll have to see though, i've never seen his bey action before..

Bella: Me neither..

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!!

*The beys landed in the stadium and Michael immediately took the center*

Athena: Well just like a normal stamina type, it took the center but now the real challenge starts..!

Main: Come at me at any angle, i'll take each and every one of your attacks no matter what!

*Adeona came charging in and landed the first strike and Michaels spikes repelled Adeona back*

Athena: Interesting so that's the attack power Rangara was talking about...

*Adeona survived the attack and landed on the other end of the stadium*

Athena: Adeona! Let's go!!

*Adeona and Michael clashed with full force and were then locked in a back and forth clash*

Main: You won't ever defeat us, we're invincible!!

*Michael repels Adeona once again but still managed to hold on*

Athena: Come on! Legacy Saber!!

*Adeona comes charging in with its powerful special move as Michael reclaimed the center! Adeona clashes with it and starts to push it back some even despite its heavy weight*

Athena: Yes! We're doing it!!

Main: I don't think so! Your end is near!! Primary Shield!!

*A ring of energy formed around Michael and the stadium was filled with a golden light! Both beys were thrown into the air and they landed outside of the stadium at the same time*

Athena: What the?!

Main: Tch... grr!!

Referee: Simultaneous Over Finish! Draw!!

*The crowd burst into cheers at the result of the first battle, Main reached over and picked up his bey and looked over towards Athena with a look of evil*

Main: Well what do you think so far?

Athena: You've gotten stronger that's for sure.. but do you really believe you'll defeat me.

*Main scowls at Athena as his yellow eyes began to glow*

Main: I will... I will defeat you if it's the last thing i do..!!
