---Daina and Athena went back to the Sparking Arena where there was nobody there. Athena clutched her arm as the mark on her hand began to glow---

Athena: Daina Kurogami.. He's a very good friend of Valt from what i hear. He is also a team captain for the french team, AS Gallus.. His Hollow Deathscyther is an attack type that has a big metal scythe in its Ring for even bigger attacks!..

Daina: When i battled Athena in the Legend battle royale i never got to see her true potential and from what i can see on her hand, it looks like some of that power is already leaking itself. I'm interested to see what Adeona can really do..

*Athenas body jolts as her new mark activates and its stripes traveled up their body and surrounded her eye, her evil red flare glowing as her teeth looked like that of a shark*

Consumed Athena: Now, let's begin!!

*Daina looked a bit surprised as he watched the overwhelming darkness take over Athena, he pulls out his launcher and prepares for battle*

Daina: That darkness.. it's so familiar.. Just what is it?

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and since both beys were attack types, they were both mobile in the stadium*

Consumed Athena: Now get in there! Guardian Strike!!

*Adeonas wings glowed as the slashed across Deathscyther as it went flying into the air*

Consumed Athena: Yes!!

*Deathscyther landed in the speed cradle and began to get even faster as its purple and pitch black aura glowed*

Daina: Don't tell me that's all Adeona is capable of.

Consumed Athena: Quiet!!! I'l show you a true attack right here and now!

*Deathscyther leaps out of the cradle and races towards the center and right for Adeona*

Daina: Make them feel true fear! Shake Shoot!!

*Deathscyther rushes in as a streak of purple and black trailed behind it, it launches a deadly barrage of attacks as Adeona was forced off balance as it tried to withstand Deathscythers ruthless attack*

Consumed Athena: Crush them Adeona!!

*Adeona glows with a blood red flare as Deathscythers scythe locks onto one of Adeonas golden wings. Suddenly, there was a loud snap as Adeona went flying up into the air. At that moment, Adeonas golden wings were pulled out and locked into a new mode*

Daina: Wait.. What just...?!

*Adeona begins to rush up the stadium and onto the upper deck and began to speed up*

Consumed Athena: Crush them! Adeona!!

*Adeona rushes off the Upper Deck and straight towards Deathscyther with incredible speed*

Daina: That speed is out of this world..

Consumed Athena: Full Power!!!

*Adeona speeds up and knocks Deathscyther out of the arena, Daina watches in shock as his bey hits the ground next to his foot. Athena grinned as her corrupted flare swirls around her*

Daina: So that's what Adeona is capable of.. i finally understand what happened in the battle earlier. Adeona awakened! Deathscyther must have used its heavy attack power to pull the blades out of the ring. I wonder what else that bey is capable of.

*Athena stared down at her awakened bey, 2 golden wings were now protruding out and they stuck out a little bit but it wasn't enough to matter at the moment. Daina picks up his bey and stares at Athena as his aura began to glow*

Daina: I don't care if your bey awakened or not, this match belongs to me!

*Both beys took position once more, Athena was still consumed by the mark that lies on her hand*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium with incredible thuds, Deathscyther wastes no time and unleashes a rapid and fierce barrage of attacks on Adeona*

Consumed Athena: Hang in there Adeona, no giving up!!

Daina: Crush it Deathscyther!

*Adeona tilts on the rubber on its driver and it accelerates and races around the stadium*

Consumed Athena: Once more! Go Adeona!!

*Adeona accelerates towards Deathscyther as its awakened blades began to glow with an evil light*

Consumed Athena: Tear them apart! Guardian Impact!!

Daina: I won't let you!! Steal their soul Deathscyther!!

*Both beys come in for the attack as Deathscythers metal scythe began to glow with a purple aura*

Daina: Hollow Strike!

*Deathscyther ends the battle with a quick burst finish as Adeonas parts went flying up into the air, Athena was blown off her feet as the mark on her hand deactivated and the markings on her body began to recede.. for now*

Athena: S-So strong..

Daina: i don't know what that mark on your hand means but no matter what it is, you need to get rid of it. That thing is changing you and sooner or later it may get worse. I'm letting Shu know about this.

*Athena watched as Daina left the arena, Athena stared down at her left hand and started to cry*

Athena: Why.. why am i cursed with this damn thing..

---The next day, Athena walked through Japan and she walked past the Sparking Arena and there she saw Wakiya training by himself, his Bey: Pulse Wyvern spun in the center of the arena as Wakiya looked over and saw her---

Wakiya: Ah Athena. just the person i wanted to see.

Athena: What is it Wakiya?

Wakiya: I want to have a battle with you again, it's been a while since we've last had a battle.

*Wakiya held up his Wyvern and Athena couldn't help but smile*

Athena: I don't see why not.

*Both bladers went inside the arena and Athenas mark immediately took over her which took Wakiya by surprise*

Wakiya: W-What is that?

Consumed Athena: D-Don't worry about it. it's nothing.

*Wakiya nods and as he began to prepare for the battle, he felt a sinister aura coming off of Athena. Through his eyes, Athenas body was completely shadowed out as the only thing on her that was visible was a pair of 2 red eyes and a wicked evil grin*

Wakiya: W-What is with that aura of hers?!

Consumed Athena: You about ready?

*Athenas calm and gentle voice snaps Wakiya out of his thoughts, Wakiya was still very shook as he had never seen something like that. Something was wrong, something was very very wrong.*

Wakiya: Y-Yeah i'm ready, bring it on!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Wyvern took the center immediately, Adeona comes in for the first attack*

Consumed Athena: Now send it flying!

*Adeonas attack sends Wyvern reeling up the stadium as it stopped at the very edge, Wakiya grinned as prepared his special move*

Wakiya: It's time! Wyvern!!

*Athenas heart beats loudly as her eyes glowed an evil red, her aura and flare were blood red as Adeona was corrupted with a red flare surrounding it*

Consumed Athena: Adeona!!!

*Wyvern began to race back down the slope as Adeona was coming in for a head on clash too*

Wakiya: End this with Hyper Shield Crash!!

Consumed Athena: Break! Guardian Impact!!

*In one strike, Adeona sends a crack straight through Wyvern and breaks it immediately! Wakiya was in shock as Athena simply grinned, her evil red eyes glowing*

Wakiya: W-Wyvern..

*Athena turned and left without another word*

---Later that day, Daina finally met up with Shu and he told him everything about what has been happening to Athena---

Shu: So you noticed something with Athena?

Daina: I had a battle with her yesterday and something just seemed off about her, she seemed fine at the battle royale but she was completely different when i battled her one on one yesterday. 

Shu: I see. Is there anything else?

Daina: As far as im aware there isn't anything else. But Shu, Athena needs to be stopped before she causes any damage.

Shu: What i'm really worried about is that if Athena and Lane join forces then there may be no stopping them.

Daina: Well i have no clue where Lane is but i last saw Athena at the Sparking Arena earlier.

Shu: Well, i speak to her about it. it was great seeing you again Daina.

*Daina nods and leaves*

---The Next Day, Daina was training all alone and Lane Valhalla stepped out---

Daina: Lane Valhalla..

Lane: So Daina, you are now the next Legend on my list to defeat.

Daina: I've heard a lot about you so i know your tricks.

Lane: But you know nothing about my new Lucifer.

Daina: Maybe not but it'll be nothing my Deathscyther can't handle.

*Lane smiled as both of their auras began to glow and rise into the air, both bladers took their postion as the battle began!*
