*The Sparking Legend Tour finals were advancing into the 2nd Round and Lane was still in absolute shock from the result of the first battle*

Demon Lane: Athena Valhalla... you...

Athena: Come on Lane, you don't need to say such mean things to me. I'm not your enemy here and i don't consider you an enemy either so... why say such mean and heartless things?

*Lane just looks at her with no words, he really had no idea how to react or what to think at this point*

Athena: After all this time, i made it here and i'll end the 2nd battle too with a Burst Finish. I love you Lane, i want to see that golden Flare that you hold within you. please show it to me completely!

*Lanes eyes widened at her words*

Demon Lane: Love? Golden Flare?! What are you on about?!

Athena: Let's begin the 2nd battle and you just might find out!

*Everyone watched with excited eyes as the 2nd battle was about to begin, everyone around the entire world was watching! One blink could miss even the most epic moment*

Demon Lane: Love..?

*Lane was dragged into the avatar world and he found himself sitting alone in a pool of his own Flare*

Demon Lane: I don't need Love... it has no place in my life..

*Lucifers voice could be heard and its hulking figure looms over Lane*

Lucifer: Do you really believe thats true? You mean to tell me you're not seeking love?

*Lane was silent for a moment*

Lane: I'm not, it's a sign of complete weakness.

Lucifer: Do you remember your questions? This match will contain the answers you desire!

*Lanes eyes shined brightly with a purple hue and his Flare began to dissipate! The avatar world disappeared and he faces Athena once again who now smiled, Lane simply just looked down as the Devils Mark slowly began to deactivate*

Shu: Is he..?

Aiga: He's rejecting the darkness this time?!

Chiki: But why?!

Shu: It's because he's finally realizing what Beyblade truly is. Athena's finally reached out to him.

*Elaina watches as tears of happiness began to stream down her face*

Elaina: Athena... Lane, i am so proud of you both.. Please show everyone here an amazing battle.

Referee: Second Battle!!

Lane: I only ever wanted to get stronger using the destructive capabilities of my Flare, it's all i ever knew... ever since i.. took First Uranus.

Athena: It doesn't have to be like that. if you're willing, i'll help you draw out that Flare of light out of you.

*Lane stares at Athena with a look of surprise and finally became serious as he nods. He picks up Lucifer and the 2nd Battle began. Ashtem simply watches*

Ashtem: I see now. It would appear that Lane has betrayed us at last, i figured it would happen like this. How charming Athena Valhalla, you may have succeeded in taking back Lane but you won't stop the power of the Snake Pit!

Silver Eye: Do you want me to do something?!

Ashtem: No, actually, let's watch this play out..! Maybe Lane will tap into the darkness once again,

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium once again and Lucifer took the center immediately. Adeona heads onto the upper deck and heads into the speed cradle to gain a bit of speed*

Athena: Let's go!!

*Adeona uses the Speed cradle to gain even more speed and it lunges straight for Lucifer*

Lane: Bring it on! Dark Matter Guard!!

*Lucifer defends against its opponents attack and sent it flying back*

Athena: We're not done, pummel them!!

*Adeona climbs the slope of the stadium and races back towards Lucifer and sent it flying in retaliation but Lucifer manages to still stay in the game*

Lane: What is this feeling? Why am i feeling like this..? Could this be...?

*Something within Lane awakened and he roared as loud as he could as his power began to surge, his dark and evil Flare transforming into a beautiful golden flame*

Athena: Thats-!!

*Lucifer turned from its evil and dark color scheme to a bright gold and red color*

Athena: He finally did it!!

Lane: Lucifer!!!

*A golden flare surrounds Lucifer as it spun in the center*

Athena: Adeona!!!

*Lucifer was now on the move and it charges straight for Adeona*

Lane: Dark Matter Slash!

*Adeona was sent flying high into the skies and Lucifer comes back in for a devastating follow up attack. Lucifer slashes across Adeona once again as it went flying and burst*

Athena: W-What-!?!

Referee: Dark Matter Lucifer, Burst Finish! Lane Valhalla earns 2 points! The score is now 2-1!!

*The crowd burst into cheers once again at Lanes sudden comeback, Lane was in awe at the power coursing through him*

Athena: Whaddya think Lane? That's what your true Flare looks like!

*Lane was in awe as he observed his new and improved Flare*

Lane: So this is what my true Flare looks like.

Athena: That golden Flare has always been within you. I guess you just needed a little push to bring it out.

Aiga: She actually did it.. she actually managed to pull it off.

Valt: Yeah, it took some time but she finally did it.

Chiki: That's my best friend for you!!

Shu: Even though, Lane is now ahead by a point, i think he's finally realized he's wrong.

*Wakiya stood in the pressbox and he just could not help but smile*

Wakiya: Athena Valhalla, you finally managed to do it. You helped Lane develop his true and final Flare. I'm now very excited for the 3rd battle.

Athena: Alright Lane, let's begin the 3rd battle.

Lane: Yeah, let's do this.

Referee: Third Battle!!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and both of them clash with all their strength but the battle suddenly with a double Burst*

Athena/Lane: W-what?!

*The beys fell to the stadium floor*

Referee: Double Burst Finish! Draw!!

Athena: May have been a draw but we're not losing this.

*The battles kept on going and it was draw after draw after draw. The double burst finishes would not stop, both bladers were incredibly equally matched. The 19th battle was underway and it ended in a draw as well.*

Aiga: This is so intense! I've never seen anything like it, they're equally matched!!!

Shu: Both Athena and Lane aren't willing to lose and that drive to win is being pushed into their beys, giving them power. Neither of them are willing to lose this match!

*The 25th battle was now over and of course, it ended in Double Burst finish draw. It was like the same match was stuck on repeat*

Athena: I won't lose here and i won't especially won't lose to you, we've come too far to just hand out a free win.

Lane: She's persistent i'll give her that..! Athena, this is actually... so much fun..!

*About another 5 battles had went on and both bladers were about at their limit*

Athena: H-How much longer are you planning to drag this out, Lane?

Lane: I was about... to ask you the same thing!

Athena: In that case, we should just go ahead and end it here while we can! No way we're giving up so soon.

Lane: Not giving up you say? Well in that case, i won't be giving up either.

*Lane smiled and it wasn't in an evil or psychotic kind of way, it was more of an actually happy and genuine smile. Athena felt like her heart was going to melt, it had been so long since she had seen Lane smile out of happiness. It reminded her so much of her younger years when she and Lane were younger*

Referee: 31st Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions once again as they place their beys on their launchers, both bladers were taken to a black and white void where it actually felt peaceful. Purple and gold plumes of fire hung in the skies as their avatars loomed over them, Athena could hear the soft growling of Lucifer.*

Athena: I've come this far to give you battle you deserved, i'm finally here and nothing will stop me from victory!

*Athena could hear Adeonas voice behind her*

Adeona: I believe in you Athena, let's do this!

Athena: Yeah, we're gonna rock this!!

*The void disappears and the battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and both beys bounce off the surface of the stadium and launched themselves into orbit. Both beys climbed into the air and clashed in midair!*

Athena: Adeona! 

Lane: Lucifer!!

*Both beys clash with all they got as bolts of electricity shoot across the arena from the intense clash! Both beys land back in the stadium and Lucifer took the center once again. Adeona tilts on its driver and began to charge in and deal a fierce barrage of attacks*

Athena: Come on push them out!

*Adeona finally managed to push Lucifer out of the center and knock it back*

Lane: Now Lucifer!!!

Lane: Dropper Counter!!

*Lucifer speeds up greatly as it races around the stadium at full speed and charged straight for Adeona*

Lane: Finish this!

*Lucifer uses all of its strength as it channels it in its Burst Stopper wings and slashes across Adeona with a fierce and devastating blow, sending it flying!!*

*The legends were in absolute amazement by the power that Lane was displaying*

Aiga: Amazing!

Shu: That can't be good!!

*Adeona managed to survive and keep on going as its speed wasn't faltering in the slightest. Athena's Nexus Mark activated as did Lane and both of their wings spread widely*

Angel Athena: Adeona!!

*Adeona entered its White and Purple Flare as it redirected itself towards Lucifer and both were now locked in a fierce and rapid back and forth clash*

Demon Lane: This is...

*Cheers from Athenas friends could be heard as Adeona slams into Lucifer with all its might and knocked it away. In a world of the cosmos, Athena and her friends joined forces as all of their avatars emerged and all let out a fearsome battle cry*

Angel Athena: Our Adeona is the best in the entire world, nothing will stop us now! Ultimate Flare!!

*Adeona began to glow with a golden light and a rainbow colored Flare began to surround it as it kept on going*

Lane: This is the end! Come forth my new Flare!!

*Both beys clashed again and again as their newfound Flares glowed brightly. Both bladers were brought to a light blue void and Athena stood in front of Lane*

Lane: Athena?

Athena: This is fun right? Isn't this the battle you've always dreamed of?

*Athena takes Lane by his hand and he looked at her with a surprised look, tears of happiness streamed down his cheeks but they were also of regret..*

Lane: T-This is.. Athena's true Flare..

*Lane smiled and the void disappeared! Both beys were sent flying and Adeona landed on the upper deck as it accelerated even more as the golden Lucifer tried to follow it*

Adeona: You know what to do Athena, let's finish this!

*Athena charges through the cosmos with Adeona by her side as they prepared for one last special move!*

Angel Athena: Final Symphony!!!

Demon Lane: Dark Matter Slash!!!

*Both beys clash and a big explosion erupts from the stadium*

Angel Athena: Let's go!!!

*The explosion got even bigger as Adeona began to push in the Burst Stopper wings on Lucifer as its lock began to advance, the stadium explodes with a blinding white light and a bey was burst. The smoke cleared and the bey that was burst was Lucifer*

Referee: Sovereign Adeona with a Burst Finish! With a final score of 3-2, Athena Valhalla is the winner and the Sparking Legend Tour Champion!!

*The refs words echoed throughout the now silent arena, Athena and Lane fell on their butt as both of them were completely out of breath. Sparks and Confetti shoot out of the ground as fireworks began to explode outside in celebration of Athena's victory.*

*Wakiya watched from the Pressbox as he crossed his arms and smiled*

Wakiya: I wouldn't have expected anything less from you.

Athena: I did it... i actually... did it.

*The Spirits of Valkyrie, Spriggan, Achilles, Cthulhu, Helios and Hyperion all went back to their respective bladers. Athena looked their way and smiled and waved at them. Athena looks back at Lane who still hadn't gotten up yet, she runs over to him and held out her hand to him*

Athena: Lane!

*Lane looks up at her with a surprised expression*

Lane: Athena..

Athena: Come on, stand up. If you think i'm celebrating my victory alone then you must still be the same old Lane as before, come on!

*Athena pulls him along and Athena continued to wave at the cheering crowds and even posed for some pictures. Lane simply just watches her as she continued to goofily pose for pictures, Lane honestly couldn't help but just smile..*

---Later---

*Athena and Lane stood together on a cliffside overlooking the city of Japan and they talked for a bit*

Athena: Lane, are you alright after that battle?

Lane: I'm okay.

Athena: You aren't mad that you lost or anything?

Lane: At first yeah, but i'm not anymore.

Athena: I see..

*The 2 were silent for a little while and Lane eventually broke the silence*

Lane: Hey Athena.. i'm sorry, for everything.

*Athena looked towards her brother and she just smiled as she got a bit closer*

Athena: There's no need to apologize, you already proved to me today that you're changed for the better and that's all i need. Actions speak louder than words, they say.

*Lane nodded and he continued to look over the horizion*

Lane: Yes perhaps.

*They were eventually interrupted by Valt and Shu as they made it to the cliffside too*

Athena: Valt? Shu?

Valt: Finally found you guys. Your mother wants to see you, she's at the Asahi Family Restaurant.

Athena: What is she doing there?

Valt: Come with us and find out.

*Athena and Lane come with Valt and Shu to the Restaurant and it was of course a surprise party for Athenas big victory*

Athena: You all actually threw me a party?! that's nice!!

Elaina: I got everyone to throw this party for you since you won the tournament, there's plenty of food so dig in everyone!

*All the Legendary Bladers got them a plate of delicious food and Athena sat down and ate, but she notices Lane walking out instead. Concerned, she quickly finishes eating and chases after him*

Athena: Lane!

*Lane walked down onto the beach as he looked upon the stars for a bit*

Lane: I wanted to say.. thank you, for everything you've tried to do. I realized i was wrong and now i want to make up for the things i've done, if that's alright with you.

Athena: Lane, like i already said, you've proven that you're changed. That should be good enough.

Lane: Athena..

Athena: It's late, we should call it a night and maybe we'll talk about this in the morning.

*Lane nodded and both of them head back to Shu's apartment to stay*

---The Next Day---

*Athena and Lane walked through Japan as they met up with Elaina*

Elaina: I heard you guys wanted to stay, am i correct?

Athena: That's right, we want to continue getting stronger and i think staying here for a bit longer will really be beneficial to us.

*Lane said nothing but his expression said that he also wanted to stay. Elaina sighed and pulled out her phone as she called the Butler of Valhalla Manor: Butler Albert*

Elaina: Albert, take care of the mansion for a little while, i'm extending my stay in Japan for a little bit.

*Athena and Lane smile as they take off down the path and head to the Sparking Arena to train for the day*

Athena: Alright, let's show the world what we can do!!!

*Athena jumps into the air excitedly with Lane right by her side*
