(This one is gonna be pretty short since its just Athena VS Valt and some other filler, still enjoy anyway please. Last 2 chapters won't be like this obviously)

*The next morning came and Athena Valhalla was as happy, cheerful and excited as ever as she leaped from bed and raced over to the training room to do some training before her exhibition match with Valt today*

Athena: Adeona, we're gonna win for sure today.

*Adeona began to release a high pitched ringing sound and it began to emit a rainbow like glow for a brief second*

Athena: W-What the-?... What was that just now?

*Athena shrugs it off and she starts practicing for the day*

*Lane Valhalla walks through the halls of the Cruise Ship and he began to think about what was to come*

Lane: An exhibition match..? She's just stalling at this point, why can't we get this show on the road already?!

*Lanes flare began to burn to life once again and it began to rage and roar like a burning inferno!*

Lane: Athena Valhalla, i don't know what your endgame is but rest assured, i'll be the one who sees to it that you never touch a bey again!!

---Later---

*Athena was on the lift to the arena for her battle with Valt. She looked down at her Adeona and smiled as the lift carried her even further up*

Athena: Adeona, it's been a few days since we battled Valt in the second round of this tournament and now here we are again about to battle in a match that doesn't really count. I don't know about you but i'm feeling all kinds of excited!!

*Athena and Valt reached the top of the arena and headed to the stadium. Athena and Valt stared down each other fiercely as their auras began to glow around them*

Athena: Valt Aoi, it'll be interesting to see how well you've improved since the last time we battled, i'm quite excited!

Valt: I wouldn't be so sure, me and Valkyrie have learned a few tricks since the last time we battled.

Athena: A few tricks he says?! Interesting..!!

*Valt takes the 2A Chassis off and flips it around where the Rubber blades on the chassis were poking through the blade. Valkyrie was now in 6-Blade Mode*

Athena: He flipped around his chassis just like Fafnir and Spriggan.. so that's his new trick huh? Let's see how it does!

Referee: This match will be a first to 3 Points! First Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle started*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and both of them circle around*

Athena: Even though it just went through a mode change, its movements haven't changed at all.. guess its true power lies in its attacks then.

Valt: Let's go! Valkyrie!!!

Athena: Adeona!!

*Both beys clash and Adeona was immediately sent flying from the exposed rubber from the 2A Chassis!*

Athena: A-Amazing..!! Even with no sort of performance change, it's power has skyrocketed!!

*Adeona lands back in the stadium and it keeps on going*

Athena: Keep on going Adeona, don't give up!!

Valt: We're just getting started, go!!

*Valkyrie races around the center and speeds up while chasing after Adeona!*

Athena: W-What the-?! How is it moving so fast!?

Valt: Cut them down! True Brave Sword!!

*Using the combined power of the exposed 2A Chassis and the Brave ring, Valkyrie slashes across Adeona with such explosive and destructive power and Adeona was burst instantly, disregarding its burst stopper!*

Athena: N-No way..!!

Valt: Alright yes!!

*Athena picked up the pieces of Adeona and was in absolute disbelief at what just happened*

Athena: Looks like Valt got a lot stronger after all, Brave Valkyrie sure is strong, maybe too strong...

Valt: Don't tell me that's all you got, surely you can find a way to take on my Valkyries 6-Bladed mode.

Athena: 6-Bladed mode?! So that's what happened: by changing the position of the chassis, Valt was able to increase Valkyries attack power by exposing more of the rubber, that's how he was able to decimate us so easily there. He combined the rubber on its ring and its chassis for a devastating attack, gotta hand it to Valt: he's definitely a worthy opponent.

*Lane Valhalla stood at the top of the crowd and watched the battle*

Lane: How pathetic, Athena Valhalla. For a finals opponent, i expected better from you.

*Lane looked towards Valt this time*

Lane: Valt Aoi, you would've made for a perfect opponent in the finals, once i'm done with Athena.. i'm coming straight for you again.

Referee: Second Battle!!

*Both bladers retake their position and the next battle began*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land once again and both of them race around the stadium at full speed*

Athena: Let's go, we're gonna ace it this time!

Valt: I don't think so!!

*Adeona and Valkyrie clash as a fierce storm burst from the stadium. Both beys were sent flying and Adeonas Barrage driver began to activate*

Athena: You know what to do! Barrage Boost!!

*Adeona accelerates even more, dodging Valkyries attack*

Valt: Wow you dodged my attack but let's see if you can escape this!

*Valkyrie started to pick up speed once again*

Athena: It's so much faster and stronger than before, it's like i'm facing... a god.

*Valkyrie hits the rim of the stadium and it begins to speed up even more, its speed hitting heights it never did before*

Valt: That's the way Valkyrie, keep going even stronger!

Athena: We're not going to give in so easily Valt, just you watch!!!

*Adeona grabs the rim as well and its speed starts to increase even more as well, a white streak following as it begins to close the gap between it and Valkyrie*

Valt: That's-!

Athena: Now let's see if you can take this on, regardless of your chassis position!

*Adeona slams into Valkyrie and knocked it away with a brutal attack*

Valt: That's very good however we're not gonna lose so easily!

*Valkyrie slams into the wall and its rubber absorbed the impact and came charging back in for the blow*

Valt: True Brave Jet Shoot!

*Valkyrie slams into Adeona with full force and knocked it sky high into the air*

Athena: Tch.. Adeona!!!

Valt: This is all over! Valkyrie, go!!!

*Valkyrie hits the rim of the stadium once more and it began to pick up super sonic speed*

Valt: True Brave Flash!!

*Athena screams out as her hair explodes in a white inferno as her Flare began to grow even larger, the intensity as ferocious as the sun!!*

Athena: ADEONA!!!!

*Adeona began to shine in a new Flare as it races toward Valkyrie at top speed*

*Lane gasped in horror at what he was seeing*

Lane: Wait-!! Is that..-!?!

*Aiga was also in disbelief at what he was seeing as well*

Aiga: Athena's flare is...

Valt: This is getting even interesting, this battle belongs to us Valkyrie, send them flying!!!

Athena: Sovereign Symphony! Now!!!

*Both beys collide as sparks and bolts of electricity burst out of the stadium! Both beys went flying up and Adeona was burst once again!!*

Athena: W-What!! Impossible!!

Referee: Brave Valkyrie, Burst Finish! Valt Aoi wins with a score of 4-0!!

*Athena fell to her knees as she groans in frustration*

Athena: COME ON!!! I thought i had him!!!

*Valt walked over and held his hand out to her and smiled*

Valt: That was a great battle, i actually could feel the bond you had with Adeona towards the end, it really felt like you and your bey have reached the ultimate bond.

Athena: "Ultimate Bond"? What do you mean?

Valt: Your flare was so intense i had to look away for a moment, you've gotten so much more stronger and i'm excited to see what you can do against Lane.

*Athena placed her bey back together and instinctively looked towards the audience where Lane was*

Athena: Yeah... i wonder..

---A few days later---

*It would take some time before the Cruise Ship would arrive in Japan so everyone had some time to battle everyone before the long anticipated match. Athena sat in bed that day wondering about what she could possibly do against Lane, and she even thought about the new power that sprung forth in her battle with Valt*

Athena: The other day, i felt a raging sensation like no other... it was a Flare for sure but this one felt different, whether in a good or a bad way remains to be seen.

*Athena remembered that Adeona had glowed a peculiar light a while before the battle, she looked down at her bey in wonder*

Athena: Could that have been..?

*Athena got up and she went to the medical area to go check up on Shu. when she got there, Shu was still unconscious but his pulse and everything seemed fine. Shu was out of his usual clothing and was in a light blue hospital gown with IV's and stuff hooked up to him in order to keep his state stable*

Athena: Shu...

*The doctor eventually came in*

Athena: Is he going to be ok?

Doctor: Mr.Kurenai will just fine, in fact he was just awake not too long ago. He didn't suffer any severe injury from the battle but he will need to take it easy for a while when he is eventually discharged.

Athena: I see. What are you going to do to him this time.

Doctor: Well Shu is actually almost ready to be discharged, he'll be out of here in no time. Remember, he needs to be taking it easy for a little while, there may be no severe injury but any stress or tension may cause his condition once he is out to worsen and then injury could occur.

Athena: I got it, thank you doctor.

*The doctor leaves and Athena leans in closer to the bed as she holds Shu's hand. Athena had actually kept possession of Shu's launcher and Bey until he was better.*

Athena: Here Shu, i think Spriggan needs you just as much as you need it.

*Athena opens his hand and places Spriggan in one hand and his launcher in the other. Shu's crimson aura began to glow to life with his lifeless body not responding to the power*

Athena: I know, i can feel how much you want to battle. But your health and safety is important, you have to take it easy for a bit. Doctors orders as they say.

*Athena smiled and she left the room, taking one last look before she left*

---Later---

*Athena walked throughout the cruise ship and she reached the stern of the ship, she had never been back on this side of the ship before. she watched as more and more sea began to trail behind as she listened to the ships engine run*

Athena: Adeona, what do you think? Are you excited for the finals?

*Adeona glowed in response, insinuating that it wanted to desperately battle*

Athena: I know, it'll be a few days but we'll make it happen no matter what. Lanes going down one way or another, and this time we won't fail in bringing him home.

*Valt comes up and meets her*

Valt: Even though you lost today, it was still a great battle.

Athena: Yeah, it was fun.

Valt: Makes me wanna have another!!

Athena: Heh! I bet!!

*Valt looks over at her and noticed she looked rather serious*

Valt: Is something wrong? You look rather in thought than usual.

Athena: I'm just thinking about the coming battle.

Valt: Oh yeah, you're gonna rock the stadium with all you've got right! And you might even win.

Athena: That would be nice.

Valt: What do you mean by that?

Athena: At this point, i don't just want to win but i want Lane to see the light in the process. If possible, maybe i can talk him out of it that way we can have an epic battle for the world to witness, that would be nice wouldn't it.

Valt: Yeah it would, i haven't seen an all out battle between you and Lane since New York. that really was one for the history books.

Athena: I failed to make him see the light then, this time i won't fail and i won't be making the same mistakes i made twice.

Valt: Well all that matters is that you have fun, that's what a true bey-battle is meant to be. Why don't you tell them that when you face him.

*Athena smiled and nodded as she continued to watch over the ocean*

Athena: I think i will...

The day has finally arrived and the stage of the Sparking Arena has been set! The final battle between Athena and Lane Valhalla finally begins and the start to another fierce and climatic showdown as witnessed in New York City all those months ago is now underway!!
