*The Sparking Legend Tour was now en route back to Japan as the losers of the 2nd Round departed the Cruise Ship and were on their way back. Athena stood alone in the empty arena as she thought about the coming battles*

Athena: Adeona.. later today we'll be standing in this exact spot, facing Aiga. It's hard to believe its over so soon.

*Adeona shined and its voice beamed out in her head*

Adeona: I feel the same way!

*Adeona pulls her into the Avatar world and Adeona looms over her*

Adeona: You've done well so far in this tournament, your efforts are quite impressive.

Athena: Well, i couldn't have done it without you. You are apart of my success.

*Athena could feel how happy Adeona was to hear that*

Adeona: And if you win here, You'll be going on to the finals.

Athena: That's right, and if Lane is there too, we'll blow him to the skies and back!

Adeona: Yeah!!

*The avatar world disappeared and Athena reawakened and saw Aiga standing on the other side of the stadium*

Aiga: Hard to believe we're going to be battling in this exact spot in just a hour or so. I'm stoked to be battling with you again.

Athena: Yeah, it's gonna be a fun battle indeed!

Aiga: It is, i always love battles with you. They're the best in the entire world.

Athena: And i love battles with you, and well... you in general.

*Aigas cheeks flushed red for a moment and he just smiles, Athena smiled as well*

---Meanwhile---

*Lane Valhalla trains harder than ever as he prepares for his battle with Shu Kurenai in a little while! His dark flare burns to life as another Flare begins to burn along with it, golden flames were flowing alongside the darkness that was his Jet-Black Flare!*

Lane: Athena... Shu... just you two wait, i'll crush you both into oblivion!!

*Lane clenches his fists tightly as a plume of gold flare followed it*

---Later---

The Semi-Finals of the Sparking Legend Tour were finally underway! There was no wasting time, Athena and Aiga made it up to the arena and the 2 eternal rivals and friends stepped up to the stadium*

Athena: Adeona, we're finally here. We're about to battle with one of the greatest Legends ever lived..

Aiga: I hope you're ready because we're not holding anything back, i expect the same thing from you!

Athena: You got it, i'll show you a fun battle!!

Referee: These Semi-Final matches will be first to 3 Points, Spin and Over Finishes are 1 Point, Burst Finishes are 2 points!

*Elaina, Shu, Chiki and Ranjiro were watching the battle from the crowd*

Elaina: Is she gonna be ok? She's up against such a strong opponent.

Shu: Athena will be just fine, Athena and Aiga are best friends, they would never do anything to hurt each other.

Chiki: Besides, Athena has this in the bag!

Ranjiro: Aiga is my friend but i'm very curious to see what Athena can dish out, this is a tough one..

Referee: First Battle!!

*Aiga began to switch his Xtend+' driver into Stamina Mode*

Athena: Stamina Mode! He knows the weakness of the Barrage' Driver so he's gonna try and outlast Adeona so he can win by a Spin Finish...! Unfortunately for him, that won't work on us so easily, i have perfect control on Adeonas speed now!

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Achilles rushes for the center immediately and Adeona races around the stadium as its POM tip was deployed*

Athena: Adeona, charge!!

Aiga: Achilles, you know what to do!!

*Adeona began to ravage Achilles with a flurry of ruthless strikes as each one was knocking Achilles off balance*

Aiga: She's gonna try and whittle Achilles' stamina away and end this with either an Over Finish or Burst Finish! Either way, she can't win by a Spin Finish for sure!

Athena: Send it flying!!

Aiga: I don't think so! Triumphant Defense!!

*The 2 Golden Shields on Achilles glowed and its defenses went up! Achilles successfully blocks the next attack from Adeona and repelled it*

Aiga: Alright!

Athena: Hold on tight!!

*Adeona slams into the wall and it uses the rubber on its ring to absorb the attack! Adeona survives and its Barrage' Driver starts to activate*

Athena: Let's go! Barrage Boost!!!

*Adeona began to accelerate greatly and this time around, it wasn't losing its control! It races in and knocks Achilles out of the center and it was now on the move*

Aiga: Alright Achilles, Triumphant Buster!!

Athena: Let's go all out!! Sovereign Symphony!!!

*Both beys race around the stadium and collide in the center and Achilles went flying out of the stadium*

Aiga: Wha-?!

Referee: Sovereign Adeona, Over Finish! Athena earns 1 point!!

Aiga: Not bad!

Athena: We're just getting started and we're going to win!

Aiga: We'll see.

Athena: Adeona, we're ahead by a point! Let's end this next battle with a burst!

*Aiga just looks at Athena with a smile and he began to change Xtend+'... into Attack Mode*

Referee: Second Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions once again*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium once again and this time both beys were now on the move as Achilles raced around the stadium in attack mode*

Athena: Attack Mode! So he's tryna go for a burst too!!

Aiga: Full power Achilles!!

*Both beys clash with all their might and Adeonas lock advances and was stopped thanks to the Burst Stopper! both beys were sent flying back*

Athena: Adeona won't be burst so easily, ya hear me!!?

*Adeona began to lay into Achilles with another fierce barrage of attacks! Achilles uses its Spring Loaded swords and sent Adeona flying back instead*

Athena: What the?!

Shu: He's actually trying to burst Adeona!

Ranjiro: Aiga.. how badly do you want this burst?

*Achilles took to the upper deck and it races onto the 2nd Level as it began to head down the slope back into the stadium*

Aiga: I told you we're not holding anything back and i meant it! Let's go!!!

*Athena took a step back intimidated by Aigas full might*

Aiga: Achilles!!!

Athena: That's just so you Aiga, but we're not going to give up! Adeona!!!

Aiga: Triumphant Buster!!

Athena: Full speed! Sovereign Symphony!!

*Both beys clash and Achilles broke through the burst stopper and Adeona burst! Athena gasps as the pieces flew in front of her face*

Referee: Triumphant Achilles, Burst Finish! Aiga Akaba earns 2 points, The score is now 2-1!!

*Athena clenched her fists and she sighed excitedly as she retrieved the pieces of her bey*

Athena: Aiga is so amazing, seeing him at full power like this gets me all sorts of fired up! But like i've already said, we're going to win no matter what!

Aiga: Even though she lost that battle by Burst, had i not used one of my strongest attacks i would've lost that one too, this is getting interesting Athena Valhalla, very interesting!

Ranjiro: Man, look at Aiga, he looks all sorts of fired up!

Chiki: Athena too!

Shu: That's because both of them are enjoying the battle that they are having, even if the stakes are high right now. They are showing the entirety of the world what a true battle should be.

Referee: Third Battle!!

Aiga: I'll stay in Attack Mode... and end this for good!

*Both bladers place their beys on their launchers and Athena and Aiga were brought to a white void where everything seemed peaceful, the perfect battle environment! Both of their avatars materialized behind them*

Athena: Achilles.. Adeona, i can see Achilles!

Adeona: So can i, this is what a true bond is meant to be.

Athena: I see..!

Aiga: So that's Adeona, great to finally see you..

Achilles: So that's Athenas Bey..

Aiga: It is, it's amazing isn't it!

Athena: I can hear him too..

Adeona: That's exactly how it should be, our bonds will forever grow to new heights Athena, there is no stop to our potential.

Athena: Right..

*The 3rd Battle was about to commence as the white void disappeared*

Athena: Aiga, i've loved you from the start but for today, i shall put my feelings aside until i beat Achilles into the stadium, i will be the one who goes to the finals!

Aiga: Athena, i'm so glad i was able to watch you grow over the course of time but i won't allow you to go any further than this. I would love to see you and Lane face off again but i don't exactly feel like handing out a free victory.. i'm sorry but i just can't do that.

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and both beys raced around the stadium at full speed*

Athena: Let's go Adeona!!!

Aiga: Achilles, let's do this!!

*Both beys clash back and forth with all their might as the stadium rocked with fierce tremors from each and every clash*

Athena: Adeona! Don't stop, keep pushing! We're not gonna lose here!!

Aiga: I think not!!

*Achilles sends Adeona flying with its spring loaded Sword and it was looking like an over finish*

Athena: I said we're not gonna lose!!!

*Adeona manages to recover and it races onto the 4th Level as it climbed the slope*

Aiga: It survived!?!

Athena: Sovereign Symphony now!!

*Adeona races back into the stadium and slams into Achilles with all its might and sent it flying back in retaliation*

Aiga: You really think something like that will beat Achilles, get real!! Triumphant Sword!!

*Achilles spring loaded swords began to glow once more and it chases after Adeona! Athena smiled as her Nexus Mark glowed to life and purple stripes covered her face, arms and legs as 2 Angel Wings spread from her back! Everyone watches in surprise as Athena smiles as her White Flare glowed to life*

Angel Athena: Adeona!!!

*Adeonas white and purple Flare glowed to life as it kept on speeding up*

Angel Athena: Barrage Boost!!!

*Adeonas Barrage' Driver activates and it speeds up even more as Achilles still gave chase*

Aiga: Achilles!!!

*Lane Valhalla watched from the crowd as he could feel an odd feeling boiling inside him*

Lane: What is this feeling? Is her Flare...?

*Both bey race around the stadium at top speed as both come straight for the center for a head on clash*

Aiga: You know what to do! Triumphant Sword!!!

Athena: Break through! Final Symphony!!!

*Both beys clash and the biggest explosion ever erupts from the stadium as face-slapping winds hit the crowd with a loud bang! Both beys go flying up into the air and Achilles burst, Adeona landed out of the stadium! Both bladers fell back on their rears in complete exhaustion*

Referee: Sovereign Adeona, Burst Finish! With a final score of 3-2, Athena Valhalla is the winner!!

*Aiga staggered to his feet and went over to his friend and kneeled down next to her, Athena stared over at him with awestruck eyes*

Athena: Did i... actually win?

*Aiga nodded and he helped her friend to her feet*

Aiga: You did.

Athena: This has to be some kind of dream, there's no way i beat you.

Aiga: You did! this is no dream or alternate reality, this is the real world. You won.

*Athena could hardly process the words, she stumbled and tripped but Aiga catches her*

Aiga: You seemed tired. I'll help you back to the stands.

*Aiga helps Athena up and walks her back to the stands as the next Semi-Final match was about to start, it was Lane Valhalla VS Shu Kurenai! Both bladers got to the top of the stadium and walked up to the stadium*

Lane: Shu Kurenai, it's been quite some time since we last battled.

Shu: Yes it has and i remember what you did to me back then.

Lane: Ah yes, Spriggans destruction, an event that eventually led to this Dark Matter Lucifers creation. In a way, i should thank you, for being such an instrumental part in this beys birth!

Shu: I never intended to be apart some evil scheme such as that, i don't know what the Snake Pit is planning with you and that bey but i will put a stop to it.

Lane: You don't have the power to take on the full might of the Snake Pit, much less me. You're nothing more than a worm compared to the Snake Pit.

Shu: A worm you say, how interesting..

Referee: First Battle!!

Athena: What's he gonna fight with? Attack or Defense Mode?

Ranjiro: Left Rotation will have the best chance at beating Lucifer but Attack or Defense? I don't know, Shu has to figure this out on his own.

Aiga: It's a Balance Type against a Defense Type, Shu won't have an advantage or disadvantage either way but there is also a right or a wrong way to go about this

Shu: I'll go with Left Spin Attack Mode, i'll burst Lucifer with all i've got!

Lane: This battle belongs to me, your end is near!

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and Lucifer races to the center and World Spriggan races around the stadium at top speed*

Lane: So you're going on the attack huh? Interesting, you're making your beys demise at least fun then!

*Spriggan slams into Lucifer with all its strength as Lucifers lock advances to the Burst Stopper and immediately stops*

Shu: I'll do whatever it takes to put an end to your reign of terror, just you watch!

Lane: Is that so? In that case, you're going to meet your end a lot sooner than expected!

*Lucifer was sent flying back but it returns back to the center*

Lane: Dark Matter Dropper!!

*the ring on Lucifers driver began to lower towards the stadium, increasing KO resistance and LAD as it glowed with a purple aura*

Shu: It's that move again..! Go Spriggan!!

*Spriggan glides along the slope of the stadium and manages to push in the burst stoppers on Lucifer*

Lane: What the-?!

Shu: It's over now! World Slash!!!

*Spriggan comes charging in and it knocks out Lucifer in one blow*

Lane: Impossible...!!

Referee: World Spriggan, Over Finish! Shu Kurenai earns 1 point!!

Lane: Tch... why you..!!

Shu: To be honest, i was going for a burst there but it would've seemed my attack was a bit off so you just got lucky with that Over Finish. Not even your Burst Stoppers can save you now.

Lane: Is that really what you think, we're just getting warmed up.

Shu: Very well then, now let's start the 2nd battle!

Referee: Second Battle!!

*Both bladers retake their positions once again*

Athena: I wonder what mode he'll use now..

Ranjiro: Spriggan used Left Spin Attack Mode last battle, since that worked so well he'll probably use it again.

Athena: What if Lanes already caught on to his plan?

Ranjiro: I don't know, i guess we're about to find out.

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium once again and Lucifer reclaimed the center as well*

Lane: I've already caught on to your games, just try and attack me!

*Spriggan comes rushing in and it lands the attack however it was easily countered*

Shu: What the-?!

*This time around, Lucifer was hitting Spriggan head on and it was the one doing damage*

Shu: Spriggan, tear them to pieces!!

*Spriggan races onto the 4th level and uses the slope to gain even more speed and it charges straight for Lucifer! It knocks Lucifer out of the center and it was now on the move*

Lane: You really think i'll be brought down by something like that! Lucifer!!

*Lucifers evil flare glowed to life as it spins around the stadium and was heading for a head-on collision with Spriggan*

Shu: W-What?!

Lane: Now you break!!

*Lucifer slams into Spriggan and it went flying out of the stadium from the clash*

Shu: Tch..!!

Referee: Dark Matter Lucifer, Over Finish! Lane Valhalla earns 1 point!!

Lane: So it was just an Over Finish huh? No matter, i'll finish this with the next battle!

*Shu looked down towards his Spriggan and he looked toward the crowd where Athena sat*

Athena: Shu..! What are you thinking..?

*Shu looked back towards his opponent and his scar began to glow a crimson red*

Lane: How interesting, so you're willing to win this match no matter the cost, however i admire your efforts but it unfortunately won't be enough.

Shu: We'll see about that, i'll win!

Referee: Third Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions once again and the battle started*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium once again and Spriggan was wasting no time going on the attack! It charges in and lands a vicious blow to Lucifer and sent it flying before it could take the center*

Lane: Ah so that's your plan? You're not gonna let me take the center, well i hate to break it to you but that center belongs to us!!

*Lucifer manages to push past Spriggan and take the center immediately*

Shu: Spriggan, knock them down!!

*Spriggan races up the slope of the stadium and began to launch a fury of strikes*

Shu: Lucifer is going down if it's the last thing i do!

*The attacks kept on coming and Lucifer was being thrown off balance, the ring on its Driver lowered itself towards the stadium and Lucifers reign began*

Lane: Dark Matter Gravity!!

*Lucifer began to swivel around in the center like a pendulum as it started to repel each and all off Spriggans blows! No attack that Spriggan dealt made it through to Lucifer and the battle was seemingly over*

Shu: Now Spriggan! Show them no mercy!!!

Lane: It would seem that no matter how hard you try, you will always be weak!

Shu: I'll show you who's weak!!

*Spriggan manages to land another vicious blow but it didn't work either*

Shu: Tch, why won't this work!?

Lane: Dark Matter Gravity, it's the worlds most invincible technique that only Lucifer can use. Nobody can break through its swinging defense no matter how hard the attack!

Shu: Tch grrr..!!

Lane: But you've done well against Lucifer. Here is your reward, take it!! Dark Matter Doomsday!!!

*The stadium began to fill with a purple light as a massive explosion tore through the arena and everyone in the crowd shielded their faces! Shu was completely blown off of his feet and he went flying about 10 feet away from the stadium, Spriggan had been completely burst and its parts were steaming. Everyone, including the Referee was shocked at what just happened*

Referee: D-D-Dark Matter Lucifer, Burst Finish! With a score of 3-1, L-Lane Valhalla is the winner!!

Lane: Well Shu Kurenai, looks like you managed to be of some use to me again after all.

*Shu was completely unresponsive which was starting to worry the officials in the arena, medics eventually came on to the scene and carried the fallen legend away*

*Everyone in the crowd was starting to worry, Athena looked down at her Adeona and then looked down towards Lane who was now looking towards the crowd. The finals for the Sparking Legend Tour was now confirmed: It was Athena VS Lane!*

---Later that day---

*Athena stood on the bow of the ship and she looked out on the horizon as she thought about the coming finals, she also thought of Shu who she prayed would be alright*

Athena: Shu, i'll win for your sake and everyone else.. this has gone too far, i'll end this once and for all.

*Athena notices Aiga coming towards her*

Athena: How is he?

Aiga: Shu will be just fine, he just needs to rest for a bit and he'll be alright.

Athena: He isn't injured or anything?

Aiga: It's nothing too serious, he just needs to take it easy for a little while.

Athena: Aiga, i need your help and i need it more than you can possibly.

Aiga: What is it?

Athena: I need you to train me, i need you, Chiki, Ranjiro and everyone else still present on this ship to help me train.

Aiga: Well i can get Valt to help too.

Athena: Valt is still here?!

Aiga: Turns out since we're going back to Japan anyway, they just decided to keep the Round 2 Losers on the ship since there wouldn't be much point anyway.

Athena: So i'm gonna have the 2 biggest Legends plus my friends to help me train for my big match, this is incredible!!

Aiga: And Athena, you don't have to worry about a thing, we've all got your back to the end. I want Lane defeated just as much as you do.

Athena: And i'll be sure i do, Lane isn't gonna know what hit him.

*Athena looks on the bright sunset as she held Adeona in front of her*

Athena: Adeona, the time has finally come. We're gonna beat Lane once and for all..!
