3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The bladers had launched and the beys landed in the stadium and Lucifer took center stage right off the bat! Ragnaruk comes charging in for the blow*

Rantaro: That center belongs to me!!

*Ragnaruk slams into Lucifer with full force and tried to push it out of the center but gets sent flying back and never even layed scratch on it*

Rantaro: Our attack didn't work?!

Aiga: Let's go! Achilles!!

Valt: Valkyrie!!

Athena: Adeona!!

*The 3 beys collided and all 3 bladers yelled out as neither one was willing to give an inch! The 3 beys get sent flying back and Adeona was immediately pinned between Valkyrie and Ragnaruk in a fierce onslaught of attacks! Achilles was now focusing its attention on Lucifer*

Lane: Dark Matter Dropper!!

Aiga: Cut them to pieces! Infinite Sword!!

*The ring on the Dropper Driver drops down and Achilles slams into it with its swords glowing brightly but it gets blown back from Lucifers incredible defenses! Athena looks down at the chaos that ensued in the stadium and clenched her fists*

Athena: We're not gonna lose!!

*Adeonas flare glows to life and Lane stared down at the stadium in awe*

Athena: Sovereign Bounce!

*Adeona uses its rubber blades to absorb Valkyrie and Ragnaruks attacks and send them both flying*

Valt/Rantaro: What the-?!

Athena: Alright! 

*Adeona finally recovered and its driver activated and it sped up greatly as it races onto the 4th Level of the stadium*

Athena: Adeona!!

*Adeona races off the 4th Level and dove straight for Ragnaruk*

Rantaro: Bring it on! We're just getting warmed up! Glide Tornado!!

*Adeona and Ragnaruk collide with all their might while Valkyrie and Achilles focus their attention on Lucifer*

Lane: Dark Matter Guard!!

Aiga: Infinite Sword!!

Valt: Brave Sword!!

*The 3 beys collide and a fierce explosion of different colors bursts out of the stadium as the 5 bladers yell out with full determination, however Athenas was the loudest as her Flare was radiating brightly! The 3 Legends and Lane looked at her in amazement at her newly displayed power. The 5 beys disengage from their attacks and race around the stadium and head to the center with the next attack*

Rantaro: Glide Tornado!

Aiga: Infinite Buster!!

Valt: Brave Sword!!

Athena: Sovereign Symphony!!

*Lanes eyes began to glow as he roared out with triumph*

Lane: Dark Matter Slash!!

*The 5 beys collided and a massive ball of purple flames erupts from the stadium seemingly everyone was knocked out of the stadium. Lane smiled in satisfaction until he realized 2 beys had survived, it was Valkyrie and Adeona!*

Athena: Valt..!

Rantaro: I had a feeling you'd make it!

Aiga: Valt, blow this guy away!!

Valt: Will do! Go, Valkyrie!!!

Lane: Valkyrie.. Adeona...

*Lane was shocked as he stared down at the stadium as he tried to process what happened. Valkyrie had only caught the tail end of Lucifers attack so it didn't really affect it that much and Adeona had used its Burst Stopper to resist being burst*

Lane: I'll destroy you both!!

Valt: Valkyrie!!

Valt: Let's go!!

*Valkyrie was speeding up even more as it blasts straight through Adeona and knocked it out of the park and it comes back in for the attack on Lucifer! Valkyrie clashes in Lucifer with full force and knocks it back*

Lane: Dark Matter Breaker!!

Valt: Brave Sword!!

*Both beys collide and a massive explosion of purple and blue swirls into the air and Lucifers lock advances to the max as it strikes the Burst stopper and Valkyrie pushes Lucifers wings back in and Lucifers lock advances again and Lucifer burst from Valts attack*

Lane: W-What the-!?

Referee: Brave Valkyrie is the winner! Valt Aoi wins the battle royale!!

*Athena was in absolute shock at what just happened, Valt had actually beat Lane with a burst finish. She looked down at her hands and started to walk away*

---Later that day---

*The Cruise Ship had finally left the harbor and it was finally on the seas, Athena looked on the horizon and let the wind blow through her hair. She thought about the Battle Royale from earlier and thought about how Valt defeated Lane*

Athena: Adeona.. how did Valt manage to burst Lucifer even with the Spark Drive System? It doesn't make sense.. how did he manage to pull it off?

*Her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar friend who came from behind her, it was Delta*

Athena: Delta?

Delta: It's great to see you again.

*Athena simply smiles and turns completely towards him*

Athena: It's great to see you too.

Delta: The Sparking Legend Tour will start in a day or so with the Tag Battles, i wonder who we'll be paired up with.

Athena: I don't know, maybe we'll have good partners.

Delta: Who would you want to be paired up with?

*Athena looks away for a moment*

Athena: I don't know, for me it doesn't really matter that much.

Delta: Really? You can't think of anyone you would want to pair up with?

Athena: Not really.. i'm not really a fan of Tag Battles that much tbh.

Delta: Why?

Athena: I'm more of a loner when it comes to battling. I don't need anyones assistance or anything when it comes to battles.

*Delta simply just smiles and walked up to the railing*

Delta: I suppose theres nothing wrong with that.

Athena: How far out are we going?

Delta: We're gonna be traveling throughout the tournament, we're not going to remain in one spot.

Athena: I see.. so we're going to be traveling across the entire ocean and back to Japan?

Delta: That's right. 

Athena: That's amazing, this is gonna be amazing.

---Meanwhile---

*Lane sat alone in his dorm room and he looked down at his bey as it glowed with a dark aura*

Lane: Lucifer..

*Lucifer glowed and it pulled him into the avatar world and Lucifer stared down at Lane*

Lane: I want to know how. How did Valt manage to defeat us with a Burst?!

Lucifer: I really don't know. Valt should not have been able to burst us with the Spark-Drive System activated.

Lane: I'm not interested in destroying the Legends to smithereens but i'm more interested in Athena now.

Lucifer: Why, why take an interest in her now when the Tournament starts in a few days.

Lane: If we face in the finals then i will show no mercy. I want to know what she fights for and why, i want to know why she fights with such honor and pride..

Lucifer: And what will you do with that information if you succeed.

Lane: Who knows, but either way... i can perfect you. We'll crush everyone and we'll show the entire world what we're truly capable of!

*The avatar world disappeared and Lane looked down at his bey and smiles with a sinister hint*

---A little while later---

*Athena walked through the ships corridors and she heard a yell coming from a nearby room, she took a peak inside and it was Sisco Karlisle!*

Athena: Sisco?

*Sisco was doing some pretty hardcore training! He was currently lifting a pretty heavy dumbbell but it was a bit too heavy, Athena runs over to help*

Athena: Sisco? Are you alright?

*Sisco managed to complete the rep and Athena helped him steady the dumbbell onto its holder, Sisco got up and looked at Athena*

Sisco: Oh it's you. What do you want?

Athena: Well i heard yelling in here so i came to see what the commotion was all about, so here i am.

Sisco: Well i can assure you it's nothing.

Athena: Are you sure? You looked like you were having trouble lifting that weight, had i not helped you who knows what would've happened.

Sisco: I didn't need your help.

*Sisco got to his feet and he started to leave but he stops at the door and turned back towards Athena*

Sisco: On the contrary, i do need someone to train me for my first match in the tournament.

Athena: And you want me, correct?

Sisco: My first opponent is your brother, Lane Valhalla. I'm doomed if i face off against him with no strategy and you know more about him than any of us so spill the tea.

Athena: Well Lane has evolved his Lucifer once again, Dark Matter Lucifer he calls it.

Sisco: Dark Matter Lucifer?

Athena: It uses the Spark-Drive System like my new Adeona and its driver can increase its resistance against being moved from the center. I've only battled against it twice so i don't know if there is anything else to it.

Sisco: Well that should be enough for me to go off of.

*Sisco held up his Curse Satan and Athena held up her Sovereign Adeona*

Sisco: So that's her new Adeona, should be pretty interesting..

Athena: This is Sovereign Adeona, a Spark-Drive System bey too.

Sisco: If that's the case then you ought to make this interesting.

Athena: Oh don't worry, i won't disappoint.

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle started*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Satan took the center immediately as it began to put up its defenses*

Sisco: Now, come at me! We'll show you how much stronger we've gotten!!

Athena: Get in there Adeona! Full speed!!

*Adeona charges in and began to launch a fierce barrage of attacks but none of them seemed to do any damage.. and it was all thanks to Satans rollers*

Sisco: Attacks like those aren't gonna be enough, try even harder!!

*Adeona charges back in and that attack didn't work either!*

Athena: W-What the-!?! What's going on?!

Sisco: I've told you, i've gotten much stronger than i used to and i'll defeat you here and then i'll defeat Lucifer as well!

*Satans incredible defense sends Adeona flying out of the stadium, Athena watched in surprise as her bey fell on the ground behind her*

Sisco: How's that? How do you like Satans new power now?

*Athena reached over and picked up her bey and looked back towards Sisco*

Athena: Don't think you've won just yet, we're only just getting started!

Sisco: Well i'd like to see that happen!

*Both bladers retook positions and the battle was about to begin*

Athena: I'm going to show Sisco the strongest attack i've got!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium once again and Satan took the center as Adeona was racing around the stadium at top speeds*

Athena: Let's go!!

*Adeona speeds ahead and races towards Satan*

Sisco: Roller Defense!!

*Satan repelled the attack but Adeona didn't give up as it came charging back in and began to fire a fierce barrage of attacks on it with no mercy*

Athena: Send it flying! Sovereign Symphony!!

*Adeona sends Satan flying as sparkles trail behind it from the blow*

Sisco: Satan!!

Athena: Barrage Boost!!

*Adeonas driver activates and it accelerates greatly as it collides with Satan with full force as a massive explosion rings out and Satan further tilts on its Universe Driver and skids away*

Sisco: Adeona is finished! Universe Drift!!

Athena: Let's end this, Adeona!!

Adeona: Yeah, let's go!!

*Adeona began to glow brightly as each and every part of it began to glow brightly and it rushes in towards Satan with full speed*

Athena: Sovereign Symphony!!

*Adeona collides with Satan and burst it immediately and Sisco gasped in shock as the pieces of his bey flew in front of his face*

Athena: Alright we won!!

*Sisco started to get super frustrated but eventually just smiles at Athena as she continued to celebrate her victory*

Sisco: Not bad at all, you've continued to exceed my expectations.. i wish you nothing but the best in the tournament.

*Sisco left the training room and Athena continued to celebrate without her realizing*

---Later that night---

*Athena and Aiga went down into the cafeteria of the cruise ship and their eyes lit up in excitement as their mouths started drooling a lot. There was all sorts of delicious foods there like Pasta, pizza, chicken and so much more! Some of the other legends were there too and they all had a nice plate of food as well.*

Athena: Everything looks so incredibly good!

Aiga: Yeah it does!!

*Athena had a plate of fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken alongside it and Aiga had a plate of Shu's pasta which was also featured on the menu*

Athena: Alfredo is the best!

Aiga: Shu's cooking is as good as always.

*Everyone eats up and after a little while, Athena went into one of the training rooms but was immediately stopped by Wakiya who had news for her and Wakiya looked rather annoyed, a bit more annoyed than usual*

Athena: Wakiya? What's the matter?

Wakiya: Well the Tag Battles are off.

*Athena had a bit of relief as she didn't enjoy tag battles but decided to play it off and act disappointed anyway*

Athena: Well that sucks, so what are we gonna do?

Wakiya: Well the Battle Royales are still happening so thats great i guess but there won't be anything taking the place of the Tag Battles so i guess everyone has a bit more time to train. I think i'll arrange battles between the Legends until the real thing is authorized to start.

Athena: I see.. i'm sorry about the tag battles though.

Wakiya: Don't be, its the wbba's fault for changing stuff at the last godforsaken minute.

Athena: Well i'm sure everything will go smoothly, with you as the commissioner of this tournament, i'm more than positive that everything is in good hands.

*Wakiya smiles and he turned and left, Athena looks over at the other door on the opposite side of the room and noticed Aiga standing at the doorway*

Athena: Aiga?!

Aiga: Well since the Tag Battles have been canceled, i thought we could train together.

*Athena just nods and she looked down at her Adeona.. the training continued and both beys raced around the stadium with full speed*

Athena: I can feel it.. i can feel how close Lane is to destroying himself...

*Adeona glowed with its Flare as it burst straight through Achilles with no effort*

Athena: I need to become as strong as i can or else it'll be too late...
