*Athena and Aiga watched as both Shu and Boa were stood in front of a stadium, pretty much implying that they were about to battle. Athena ran over and Shu looked at her with a bit of surprise*

Athena: Shu what are you doing here?

Shu: I came here because there will be Sparking Legend Tour exhibition battles held soon so i came here as fast as i could and i saw Boa was here so for old times sake, i'm going to face off with him.

*Boa held up his Sparking Bey: Panic Bahamut as Shu looked towards him in a bit of surprise as he saw the serious and fierce look on his face*

Shu: That determination... he's changed a lot since then, but let's see if that new Bahamut can stand up to Spriggans power once again.

*Athena walks over to the stadium to be referee of the battle*

Athena: Alright First Battle!!

Shu: Boa knows most of my tricks and he has felt the power of one my Slash moves before so he's probably found a way to counter World Slash.. Defense could work but Bahamut seems to have more stamina... i'll have to risk it and go with Right Spin Defense Mode, i'll just have to pray that Boa somehow mislaunches..

Boa: World Spriggan, the last time i faced Spriggan was in the God Bladers Cup and it didn't end well for me.. hopefully this battle will be a bit of redemption from that time. Knowing Shu, he'll probably play it safe with defense mode and wait for me to run out of stamina.. little does he know thats not going to work!

Athena: Ready and Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Spriggan took the center first as Bahamut was on approach*

Boa: So you did go on the defensive, well it wont work!!

*Bahamut clashes with Spriggan with full power as it tried to force it out of the center*

Shu: Block them with World Spin!

*Spriggans free spin chassis was able to negate Bahamuts attack and was actually keeping it at bay without budging at all*

Boa: Not bad but do you think you have the stamina to keep that up?

Shu: Thanks to my defenses, Bahamut isn't making contact with Spriggan whatsoever so i don't have to worry about stamina loss.

*Bahamut gets away and it rushes up the stadium for another blow*

Boa: Tear them apart, Panic Crush!

*Bahamut lands a devastating blow on Spriggan and sent it flying back! grinding against the rubber on its Unite' driver, Spriggan began to speed up as an aura of fire began to trail behind it*

Shu: World Slash!!

*Spriggan slams into Bahamut as a gold beam of light appears at the chassis of Bahamut and it goes flying into the air and out of the stadium, resulting in the first point going to Shu*

Boa: Tch..

Athena: And that's World Spriggan with an Over Finish! 1 Point is awarded to Shu Kurenai!

Shu: Not bad but you're not there just yet.

*Boa looked at Shu angrily as he clutched his bey within his hand tightly*

Boa: I'll crush you for sure next round, you'll see!!

Athena: Ok, Second Battle!!

Shu: This time i'll go with Attack Mode, i may be playing with fire here but i want to see how strong that "Perfect Circle" really is.

*Shu sets his 2B Chassis into Attack Mode as the second battle was about to begin*

Athena: Ready Set!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and this time, Bahamut was the one who took the center. Spriggan races around the stadium at top speed as it grinded against the rubber of its Unite' Driver and began to speed up immensely*

Boa: Now bring it on Kurenai! Show what that Spriggan can really do!

Shu: Be careful for what you wish for..

*Spriggan slanted and rushes towards Bahamut with incredible speed*

Shu: Strike with Counter Break!!

*Spriggan clashes into Bahamut with all its might as the lock on Bahamut began to advance and activate its shields*

Boa: Transform! Panic Guard!!

*the shields on Bahamut glowed red as a orb of energy began to encase and sent Spriggan flying back. Athena watched in disbelief as she had never seen that before*

Athena: So that's what Panic Guard can really do..

Boa: Once Bahamut transforms, its defenses are drastically increased and it's nearly impossible to break. i'll give you some credit, you're the only one who's managed to draw out even a fraction of my Bahamuts power.

Shu: I hope you know, even the strongest of Defenses can be broken.. and i'll make that clear right here and now! Go Spriggan!!

*Spriggan races onto the upper deck and began to gain even more speed*

Boa: That won't work, you're wasting your time! Bahamut!!

Shu: Break through that shield! World Slash!!

*Spriggan lands the attack but it got deflected so hard that it went flying up into the air and out of the stadium*

Shu: What the-?!

Athena: Panic Bahamut with an Over Finish! 1 point is awarded to Boa Alcacer!

Shu: That wasn't bad, that defense is no joke.. but it won't end here. because i have something else planned for the third battle.

*Shu smiled slightly as Boa clenched his bey within his hand and both of their auras glowing brightly, Athena watched in awe as both rivals stared at each other intensely*

---Meanwhile, Back at the Snake Pit: Project: Shadow was underway and the pained screams of Lane Valhalla could be heard from outside the capsule---

Ashtem: The more you scream, the worse it'll be!!

Technician: Ashtem, i don't he can take much more of this!! Anymore, and it could possibly kill him!!

Ashtem: KEEP IT ON!!! This is what he wants, it was his choice.

*parts of Lanes hair began to turn a cyan color as he screamed out even more, but not out of pain but of pure true power and he was instantly brought into a snowy void. Lane began to walk through it and after a while, he got tired and fell to his knees in exhaustion but then...*

BOOM!!!

*The ground in front of him exploded as a massive titan like figure stood over him, it was Adeona! Lane stared in shock as he noticed another figure on the shoulder of Adeona: it was Athena.*

Athena: Attack.

*Adeona raised up her sword for a downward slice and as it came down, Lanes eyes opened as they glowed a fierce yellow hue! He slams his fist into the ground and pulls out a demonic trident, almost as if he pulled it out of the depths of hell itself*

Lane: I won't let her get the best of me again.. NOT EVER!!!...

*Lane dodges the slice and jumps upward and throws the trident straight into Adeonas heart and both Adeona and Athena disintegrated into darkness.. Lane continued onward and was now in a void of flames and in front of him was Aiga Akaba and behind him was the Avatar of Achilles. Achilles slams down its Sword but Lane blocks it with the Trident he received earlier, Lane jumps up super high and slices straight thorough Achilles and the vision of Aiga as a splatter of blood covers Lanes face and hair*

Lane: ...Whatever it takes, i'll destroy everyone in this world..

*Lane was brought to another void where everything was black, then a bey appeared in front of him.. it was Fafnir. Lane slices through it with all his might and he did this with a whole array of different beys! Longinus, Xcalibur, Spriggan, Valkyrie, Achilles, Dragon and many others were being added to the collection of his new and improved Lucifer! there was one more bey that was yet to be sliced and floated right in front of Lane: It was Adeona!*

Lane: OUT OF MY SIGHT TRASH!!!

*Lane swings his trident straight through the middle of Adeona and it turned to dust as it floated away into the void, Lane stared angrily as he was brought to his second to last trial and it was fairly simple but psychologically impossible, Lane was brought home in his backyard behind Valhalla Manor and he saw a sight he never thought he would see again, it was Athena Valhalla when she was only 6 years old.

Lane: Are you..? no it can't be... you're not..

*Ashtem appeared right behind him which just about scared the hell out of him*

Lane: What are you doing here?!

Ashtem: This is the second to last trial you must face and it begins with her?

Lane: What does she have to do with any of this, i thought we were simply forging me a new and stronger bey..

Ashtem: It's simple, you are going to get rid of your attachment and you will kill her.

*Lane was taken aback by this, he was just ordered to murder his own sister who was still practically a young child. Lane considered it as he raised his trident for the killing blow but something inside him just couldn't do it. Lane lowered his trident and stared down at the sweet and innocent child, he kneeled down and placed his hand on the young Athenas head and hugged her tightly*

Lane: I can't.. i can't do it.

*Ashtem sighed and came up behind her, suddenly Athenas cute look of happiness turned to a quick and horrifying look of shock as a spurt of blood flew from her mouth and onto Lanes face*

Lane: H-Hey are you ok?!

*Lane noticed something sticking out of Athenas back, it was a knife! Ashtem had plunged the knife into Athenas back when Lane wasn't looking*

Lane: WHAT THE HELL!!!?!

Ashtem: Affection is a straight path to weakness and we don't tolerate weakness in the Snake Pit, Lane Valhalla! This test was to prove if you were truly worthy of ruling the world of Beyblade then you must get rid of your attachments.. but you failed.. but the next and final test will ensure that you never feel any sort of love or affection in your heart again.

Lane: I will murder you for that.. you just killed a child!!

Ashtem: People die in the Snake Pit all the time and you know that, this isn't new! You only made that excuse because YOU still hold feelings toward your sister, somebody you swore to destroy!

Lane: I'm aware of what i said and what my goals and intentions are, but killing an innocent child isn't gonna solve anything!

Ashtem: You have so much to learn, Valhalla.. just get to the final trial and get out of there.

*Ashtem disappeared and Lane turned towards his dying younger sister, the young Athena looked at him with a pained smiled*

Young Athena: L-Lane.. i-i'll always love you.. f-forever...

*The young child breathed her final breath and she disappeared into stardust and it flew away into the air, Lane got up and walked to the final trial and as he walked.. one singular tear fell from his eye and rolled down his cheek*
