*The crowd was cheering with all excitement from the result of the first battle, Athena had scored an Over Finish on Lane Valhalla! Ashtem and Silver Eye watched from the pressbox above with Wakiya*

Wakiya: I knew Athena would take the first point!

Ashtem: The battle isn't over just yet, Komurasaki.

Wakiya: Say what?!

Ashtem: Lane has yet to show off his true power and he won't show it until it's time.

*The second battle of Athena and Lanes match was about to start and both of them were given a bit of time to come up strategies for the next battle. Athena stared down at her Adeona as another memory came flooding back*

Athena: Adeona...

~Flashback~

It was a hot summer day at the Valhalla Manor and a young Athena and Lane were dressed up in their swimsuits and the played in the sprinklers. Athena and Lane were very happy back in those days as the had never heard of the word "Beyblade" in their life, Athena was pulled out of school because she was not doing very well in her classes and she was being homeschooled.. Athena in the present day missed these days, they were nothing more than bliss for her but nothing is ever easy

A year later when Athena turned 9 Years old, Lane had officially bonded with his First Uranus and had modified it to his liking. Lane had went around America participating in tournaments and winning every single one of them and Lane was becoming obsessed with winning and this was only the start of his Flare taking over him. Athena had no Sparking Bey at this time, she used a generic beyblade combo which was a red Bushin Ashura 0 Xtend Ten; with a bey as fragile as that, she stood no chance before Lanes overwhelming strength.. and everything changed the day Lane left the Raging Bulls...

~Flashback Over~

*The time to come up with a plan was over and it was time to get back to the battles, both bladers step back up to the stadium and the second battle was about to start. Athena smiled brightly as she took her position*

Athena: Lane, Let's do this! Me and Adeona will take on everything you've got.

*Lane simply just stared at her as he took his position, he could feel an odd energy building up inside him and it was making him feel weird*

Lane: W-What is this feeling? Athena, what are you doing to me?!

Referee: Second Battle!!

*Both of their auras were starting to glow with a burning intensity*

Referee: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and both beys were kicking things off with a fierce attack! Both beys clash with full strength and Lucifer sends Adeona flying*

Athena: Hang on!!

*Adeona hits the wall and recovers as it begins to climb the 4th Level and race down the slope at full speed*

Athena: Now full speed!!

*Adeona jumps off the 4th Level and dove straight for Lucifer at full force. Lane smiled evilly as he took his chance to counterattack*

Lane: Emperor Flame!

*Lucifer begins to generate an updraft of flames and it rises into the air as a vortex of scorching fires. Athena gasps in shock at Lanes new move!*

Athena: What in the world is that?!

*Adeona was firing a barrage of attacks on Lucifer but none of the attacks were getting through and the flames emitting off of Lucifer was actually repelling the attacks*

Lane: Now burn in the flames of the abyss!!

*Adeona kept its onslaught going but it was utterly useless as Lucifer was blocking them all*

Athena: If this keeps up.. Adeona won't have enough power to keep its attacks going and it'll go out in a spin finish!!

*Lucifer deals its final blow and Adeona goes reeling as it comes to a screeching halt*

Athena: N-No way..

Referee: Emperor Lucifer, Spin Finish! 1 Point is awarded to Lane Valhalla!

*The crowd cheers loudly and Athena looked at Lucifer who was still spinning in the stadium*

Athena: Emperor Flame huh? It uses its momentum in the center to create a vortex of flames which can suck out the stamina of any bey regardless of the rotation.. it's gonna be tough but there has to be a way to beat it.

Lane: I won't destroy you just yet, i'm having too much fun toying with you and i'll continue to do so until i feel it is necessary to break you at last.

Athena: You're seriously not gonna try that, not in front of hundreds of people.

Lane: Oh i don't care what the world thinks of what i'm about to do, i don't need their approval and i especially don't need yours since either way, you are the victim. I genuinely wonder if Adeona is ready to die? Spriggan, Fafnir, Achilles, Longinus and more, i know for a fact they weren't.

*Athena could feel her blood boiling. She had never been this mad in her life, her flare began to glow and it burned all around her! Her eyes began to glow with a purple light!*

Athena: I won't let you hurt them again! If i have to break Lucifer to ensure that then i will!

Lane: You ought to leave the destroying to me, you aren't cut out for that life.

Referee: Third Battle!!!

Athena: We'll end this battle right here with a burst, i won't let you hurt anybody else and i mean it!!

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium once again and Lucifer took the center as it geared up for its new special move*

Lane: Emperor Flame now!!

*Lucifers hellish flames glowed to life as they swirled in a vortex like motion. Adeona comes charing in for the blow as its objective was to get Lucifer out of the center*

Athena: You know what to do Adeona! Send Lucifer flying!!

*Adeona clashes with Lucifer with full strength and bolts of purple and white surge throughout the stadium as the fierce clash was causing a vicious storm of light to erupt from the stadium*

Lane: It's no use, you'll just burn to ash like before!!

*Adeona gets sent flying back and it slams into the wall from the hard hit. Adeona returned to the stadium as all of its stamina was gone*

Athena: Tch...

*Adeona lost all of its stamina as it slowed down and stopped spinning once again*

Referee: Emperor Lucifer, Spin Finish! Lane Valhalla earns another point!!

Lane: Come on, at least try to put up a fight!

*Athena was starting to get frustrated from Lanes taunt, her bey started to glow with a soothing aura in order to calm her down*

Athena: Adeona.. Yeah, we'll win the next battle for sure!

Lane: Calmed down already? Well let's see how calm you are in the next battle!!

Referee: Fourth Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle was starting now*

Referee: Ready set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and this time, Lucifer was on the attack! Both beys slam into each other head on in the center and a fierce explosion bursts out as both Adeona and Lucifer were locked in a fierce clash*

Athena: Send them flying Adeona!!

Lane: Lucifer! You know what to do!!

*Both of them get sent flying and Adeona rushes onto the 3rd Level and gained a bit of speed and continued its fierce attack*

Athena: Yes that's it! Keep it up!!

Lane: NOW We're getting somewhere!

*Adeona and Lucifer return to the center and were locked in a back and forth clash*

Lane: Lucifer!

*Lucifer climbed the slope of the 4th Level and raced back down as it began to glow with its dark Flare*

Lane: True Emperor Disaster now!!

*Lucifer lands on top of Adeona and made contact with its Awakened wings! Both get sent flying back and Athena was gearing up for her attack as well*

Athena: Adeona let's do this!!

*Both beys collide and another explosion bursts out and Lane began to smile with incredible satisfaction*

Lane: You're gonna break!

*Adeona manages to underneath Lucifers attack and strike its chassis and sent it flying into the air*

Lane: Wait what?!

*Lucifer lands back in the stadium as it reclaimed the center once again*

Lane: No matter, True Emperor Wall!!

*Lucifers barrier forms around it and Adeona comes in for the blow and manages to break past it and send it reeling once again*

Lane: Tch.. you're getting on my nerves!!

*Lucifer skids on its Drift driver and began to speed up*

Athena: You know what to do Adeona! Ultimate Symphony!!

Lane: Emperor Wall Break!!

*Both beys collide and both of them go flying out of the stadium at the same time and they both hit the ground with a clang far behind their users*

Athena: What the-?!

Lane: Tch..!

Referee: Double Over Finish, Draw!!

*The crowd erupted with excited cheers as Lane and Athena stared behind them at their fallen beys. Lane retrieved his bey and looked back over towards Athena who ran back to get her bey, Lane was starting to feel a warm and unusual feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time*

Lane: What's going on, what is this odd feeling..? Athena.. what are you doing to me?!

Athena: We have have not won this battle but we're gonna win the next one for sure!

Lane: What is going on with me..?

Athena: Lane?

Lane: W-What is this...?

*Lane felt extremely overwhelmed by this odd feeling and he sank beneath his Flare as it swirled around him. Athena watches with concern as the Flare was starting to glow even darker*

---Meanwhile At The Bombers---

*Hyuga and Hikaru were hard at work making brand new beys, ones to replace the beys that Athena had destroyed a week or so prior. Instead of Limit Break System beys, these new beys were just regular Sparking Beys! After about an hour or so of creating their new beys, they were finally ready*

Hyuga: Alright, this is Inferno Hyperion!!

Hikaru: This is Laser Helios!!

*The combos for the beys was Inferno Hyperion.Metal Xceed+X.7A and Laser Helios.Metal Zone+Z.4B. Both beys were apart of a new sub system called the Spark-Drive System which its secrets were yet to be known to the Blading World!*

---Back At The Cruise Ship---

*The fourth battle was about to begin and Athena stared at Lane with fierce eyes. Lane simply smiled as his flare began to glow to life*

Athena: Lane, i will not lose to you again.. i'll win for sure and with a burst too!

Lane: You can keep rambling all you want but only i know the outcome of this match, there is no reality where you come out on top here! I am the one who will reign supreme and i will shatter Adeona into pieces in this battle!!

*Both of them stare each other down as the 4th battle was about to begin, the score was 2-1! Athena had only 1 chance to make a comeback after getting back to back losses by a spin finish. It was a matter of time until she could finally win*

Referee: Fourth Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle started*

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium once again and both beys come in for the attack right off*

Athena: Ultimate Symphony unleash!!

Lane: True Emperor Disaster!!

*Both beys collide and a massive explosion bursts out and both beys get sent flying from the attack! Adeona rides the 4th Level and it dove straight for Lucifer which was actually wobbling already from the clash*

Lane: W-What the-?!

Athena: Now do it!!!

*Adeona lands on top of Lucifer and the world around them went inverted for a split second as Lucifer went flying and it landed outside of the stadium from the clash*

Lane: Tch... Why you little...!

Referee: Guardian Adeona, Over Finish! Athena Valhalla earns 1 point!!

*The crowd cheers wildly as Lane turned back and picked up his bey as his eyes began to glow an evil purple*

Lane: Lucifer.. it's time now, let's destroy Adeona once and for all.

*Lane turns back towards Athena who stared at him with a serious look, it was clear she wasn't playing around anymore and that this is where the real fight began.*

Next Chapter - Decisive Battle On The High Seas: Athena VS Lane!!

With the next battle that could decide the winner, Athena and Lanes match continues and Lane feels a newfound power surging from the depths of his being!

(Yeah this one was a bit shorter than usual but there really wasn't much to fill this chapter up with aside from a few battles between Athena and Lane + a flashback + the evolutions of Hyperion Burn and Helios Volcano. Next one will probably be a bit longer)
