*It was only one day left until Athena and Lanes match and Athena stood on the deck of the cruise ship and she stared off into the distance. Many thoughts rushing through her mind as multiple scenarios of tomorrows battle played through her mind*

Athena: Adeona.. it's just one day left and we're already about to face Lane, tomorrow we'll win and i'll bring Lane to his senses once and for all.

*Shu comes up behind her and calls over to her*

Shu: Athena.

*Athena turned around and looked toward Shu who was still in his new outfit*

Athena: Shu?

Shu: Your match with Lane is tomorrow, we should train so you can be at the top of your game. Lane is getting even stronger by the second so we don't have much time to lose.

*Athena smiled and nods as she got her gear ready*

Shu: Guardian Adeona.. a bey that resembles the White Sun, the complete opposite of Lane; The Black Sun... Let's see what it can do.

Athena: I've battled against Spriggan many times but i can't under any circumstances underestimate Shu, he truly is a strong blader in his own right.

Shu: Let's go!

Athena: Yeah!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Spriggan took the center immediately as it went on the defensive*

Athena: Alright Adeona! Get in there!!

*Adeona knocks Spriggan into the air and Shu just smiles as Spriggan landed back in the stadium and started to wobble a bit*

Shu: World Spin!!

*Spriggan used its Free Spin 2B Chassis to repel Adeonas next attack and sent it flying back*

Athena: N-No way!!

*Shu was brought into a black void and he immediately sprouted the wings of Spriggan as his aura flowed around him*

Shu: This battle belongs to us!!!

*Athena watched in surprise at Shu's incredible power, her eyes widening! Spriggan was repelling all of Adeonas attacks and was even zapping away its momentum*

Athena: Keep going Adeona!!

*Adeona came back in for the attack but its blows were incredibly weak from its stamina loss*

Athena: Adeona, hang in there!!

*Adeona was beginning to lose all of its momentum rapidly as its attacks were getting weaker and weaker*

Athena: Adeona!!

Shu: It's over!!

*Spriggan comes back around and sends Adeona flying into the skies*

Athena: N-No way..!

*Adeona came falling back down and it hits the ground behind Athena as she looks back in shock*

Shu: Is that all?

Athena: H-Huh?

Shu: I know that's not all you've got.

*Athena looked at Shu with a look of surprise and nodded and went to pick up her bey*

Athena: Adeona, he's right.. we can do way better than this! Let's show him our true power..!

*Shu began to change his Spriggan into Left Spin Attack Mode*

Shu: Let's go!

*Both bladers take positions and the next battle started*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Adeona was wasting no time going on the attack*

Shu: Oh?

Athena: Now blow it away!!

*Adeona and Spriggan collide head on and bolts of lightning erupt from the stadium and both beys get sent flying back*

Shu: Spriggan! Upper Shoot!!

*Spriggan circles around the center of the stadium and it goes in and sends Adeona flying into the air with full force!*

Athena: Adeona!!

*Adeona slams into the wall and survives the attack*

Athena: Alright yes!!!

Shu: Wow so it actually survived that? Interesting..

*Shu was brought back into the black void and Spriggans wings sprouted from his back as his scar began to glow with a crimson red*

Shu: Now full power!! Spriggan!!!

*Spriggan comes charging in as its eyes began to glow with full brightness*

Athena: Now Adeona, let's rise!!

*Athena was brought to her own void where it was a beautiful purple color, Athenas body lurches forward and back as the wings of an angel sprouts from her back*

Athena: We're not gonna lose here!!

*Adeona comes charging in and it knocks Spriggan away with full force*

Shu: Strike back with Counter Break!!

*Spriggan glows brightly with crimson flames as it comes charging in and clashes into Adeona with full strength*

Athena: Push them back now Adeona!!

*Both of them get sent flying and Adeona was starting to glow with its royal purple flare!!*

Athena: It's time! Now Adeona!!

*Adeona comes charging in for the attack and slams into Spriggan and caused the disk inside its chassis to move a bit*

Shu: Spriggan now!!

*Both beys slam into each other as both avatars clash! Both beys get sent flying back and both of them climb the slope of the stadium and race back down towards the center*

Shu: World Slash!!

Athena: Alright now, Ultimate Symphony!!

*Adeona blasts right through Spriggan and sent it flying into the air and caused it to burst from the attack. Shu was surprised at the loss but he simply smiles at Athena who started to smile from her victory*

Athena: Alright!!!

Shu: That wasn't half bad, i could definitely see the bond you had with Adeona and i must say, it's the best i've ever seen in a while.

Athena: Same with you, it's hard to describe but it looked like you had grew wings.

Shu: Grew wings you say?

Athena: Yeah, it's hard to put into words or to describe it but that's what i saw.

Shu: I guess i must have reached an even further bond with Spriggan that was even truly possible.

Athena: I guess so, i kinda felt a similar sensation. I'm not sure if it was the same thing as you but i definitely felt a deeper bond with Adeona in this battle.

Shu: I guess we both hit a new high in this battle, we both simultaneously got stronger in a mysterious way.

Athena: I guess we did.

*Shu turned and started to walk away and Athena stared after him with a soft smile*

Shu: Good luck tomorrow.

---Later that day---

*Wakiya had called Athena to his office at the WBBA HQ and he had some news to tell her*

Wakiya: Well some interesting changes had come to my attention and the higher ups here at the WBBA have made a pretty interesting announcement.

Athena: What is it?

Wakiya: Since you're finally facing off against Lane tomorrow which should have taken place after you both defeated Valt and Zac but due to obvious circumstances, that couldn't happen until the issues were resolved.

Athena: And?

Wakiya: What? do you want a full blown speech?! What i'm trying to say is, the WBBA wants to make up for the long wait so whoever wins between you two tomorrow will get the opportunity to face off with Aiga Akaba and i'm aware of how well acquainted you are with Aiga.

Athena: So if me or Lane wins, we get to battle Aiga. So what? We can battle Aiga whenever we want.

Wakiya: The catch is if one of you beats Aiga then one of you will be the new champion until the opening ceremony of the Sparking Legend Tour.

Athena: So if Aiga is defeated then one of us will be a temporary champion?

Wakiya: Correct, and Aiga will take back his title at the tournaments opening ceremony.

Athena: Alright then, i guess i'll see you tomorrow if you'll be there at my match.

Wakiya: I'll be there, i would never pass up this opportunity to see you battle against Lane. Just so you know, the battle will be held at sunset, i'll let you know shortly when you need to be there.

Athena: Alright, i'll see you there.

*Athena left and she eventually went down the street back to the cruise ship to do a bit more training, the sun was already starting to set for the day. On her way back to the cruise ship, Athena bumps into a woman of very tall stature.. Athena immediately recognized her, it was her mother, Elaina Valhalla*

Athena: Mom?! What are you doing here?!!

Elaina: I heard you and Lane were going to face off so i just couldn't help but come down and see my beautiful children battle each other.

Athena: You're really that excited to see your own kids fighting each other?

Elaina: Well when you put it like that-

Athena: Just forget it, i missed you mom.

*Athena goes up and throws her arms around her mothers waist in a tight hug*

Athena: I've always wanted a moment like this for so long, just us.

*Elaina pulled the kid into her arms as she picked her up and held her*

Elaina: You'll have many times to have these kind of moments Athena, now you should probably be doing some training if you want to beat Lane tomorrow.

*Athena smiled as she rested her head against her moms shoulder*

Athena: You don't have to tell me twice..

---Meanwhile at the abandoned factory---

*Ashtem who was now in his Snake Pit Attire was going over a plan with Lane about the coming match*

Ashtem: Adeona being an attack type while your Lucifer is a defense type gives you the type advantage, how are you going to use that in your battle?

Lane: It's quite simple, i won't.

Ashtem: Say what?

Lane: I have one objective for this battle and one objective only, to destroy Adeona into pieces. Besides, her defeat will provide the last bit of energy needed in order for Lucifers evolution to be possible.. i'll suck out her Flare and for the finishing touch, i'll shatter Adeona into multiple pieces!

*Ashtem simply just looked at Lane and smiled and chuckled a bit*

Ashtem: Is that so? In that case, i'll be holding you to your word. Me and Silver Eye will both be watching from the pressbox with Kristina Kuroda and Wakiya Komurasaki.

*Lane looked down at his Emperor Lucifer as it began to glow with a bright light and its light pulls it into a void of darkness. Lane opened his eyes and there he met Lucifer*

Lane: Lucifer..

Lucifer: Lane Valhalla, you promised me power and i had better get it.

Lane: You will, Adeonas energy should be more than enough to satisfy your needs and then i'll evolve you into the worlds strongest bey anyone could ever dream of imagining.

Lucifer: That's a bold claim coming from you, you really think you'll be able to fulfill what you say you're gonna do.

Lane: I do and i promise we'll destroy Adeona for sure tomorrow, you can quote me on that.

Lucifer: Then what are we waiting for, let's get the battle started already.

Lane: Unfortunately we're gonna have to abide by the WBBAs rules so our battle is tomorrow evening at sunset. Either way, no matter how long we have to wait i'll crush Athena into oblivion and finally the thorn in my side will be severed forever.

Lucifer: That seems to be something that bothers you on the daily isn't it?

Lane: So what if it is?! But i do wonder why she keeps doing this, nonstop chasing after me and for what... just so she can defeat me in battle? She's already defeated me numerous times in battle so whats the point of even trying anymore..?

Lucifer: I wonder...

*The void disappeared and Ashtem was long gone, night was starting to fall upon the city of Japan and Lane stared up at the stars as he stood on the roof of the factory*

Lane: No matter what i do, she always comes back.. why? Why does she keep doing these things to me..?!

---The Next Evening---

*Not much had happened over the course of the next day except a bit of last minute training before her match with Lane, Athena Valhalla stood at the lift to take her up to her match and she notices Aiga standing behind her*

Athena: Aiga..?

Aiga: So the day has finally arrived hasn't it?

Athena: Yeah it has, i can't wait to give it my all in this battle.

Aiga: Yeah, do us all a favor and blow that guy away!

*Athena smiled and giggled a bit*

Athena: Will do.

*Athena heard hers and Lanes name being called and she headed to the elevator to take her up*

Aiga: Good luck.

Athena: Thanks, i'll keep you guys in mind when i battle today.

*The elevator doors shut and it carried Athena up to the battle that she so desperately waited for so long*

Athena: Today is the day, i'll finally defeat Lane once and for all!

*The lifts stopped and both bladers walked up to the stadium, Athena looked over at the crowd and saw Valt, Aiga, Shu, Drum, Phi, Delta and her mother Elaina in the crowd and she noticed Wakiya and Ashtem in the pressbox. The Sparking-Drive Stadium was finally repaired and was ready for more action again*

Lane: Athena Valhalla, i've awaited this day for a long time.

Athena: As have i, i've been wondering when i would get the chance to battle you again.

Lane: Well this won't be no ordinary fun battle, no! This will be your last battle, better say goodbye to Adeona while you can because this will be the last match it ever sees.

Referee: This match will be a first to 3 point point battle. First Battle!

*Both bladers take their positions as both bladers stare each other down their eyes glowing brightly*

Athena: Let's do this!

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Lucifer took the center immediately as it was about to put up its defenses*

Athena: W-What is this?!

Lane: True Emperor Wall!!

*An energy barrier was formed around Lucifer and it began to spark and hiss as Adeona came charging in for the attack*

Athena: Break through that wall now!!!

*Adeona uses its awakened blades and broke through Lucifers defenses as the barrier disappeared*

Lane: Tch.. not yet..!

*Both beys were locked in a fierce frenzy of attacks and were matching each other blow for blow*

Athena: Now get in there Adeona, send it flying!!

Lane: Crush them with all your might!!

*Both beys get sent flying back and Adeona skids on its +L Attachment and began to speed up onto the 4 Level and ride the slope of the stadium as Lucifer began to chase it and was trying to cut it off on the 3rd Level*

Lane: Now's my chance..

Athena: Full speed ahead!!

Lane: True Emperor Disaster!!

*Lucifer slams into Adeona but was repelled due to the 6A Chassis being locked into attack mode. Lane watched in shock as his attack was shut down*

Lane: She managed to shut down my strongest attack?!

*Adeona returned to the main stadium and began to glow with its purple flare and sparkles flowed around the stadium from the intense light*

Athena: Adeona!!

Athena: End this with Ultimate Symphony!!

*Adeona charges in and collides into Lucifer with full force and sent it flying out of the stadium with intense force! Lane watched in shock as his bey fell next to his foot*

Athena: Alright!!

Referee: Guardian Adeona with an Over Finish! Athena Valhalla is awarded 1 point!!

*Lane bent down to pick up his bey and a thought came into his mind as he remembered Athenas new flare*

Lane: Lucifer.. looks like Adeona is truly worthy of being destroyed after all, now let's finish the deed!

*Lane looked back towards Athena with a psychotic expression as his flare began to glow and swirl around him*

Athena: Lane..
