*It was only 4 days left until Athenas scheduled match with Lane. It would've been sooner but the team still needed some time getting the repaired stadium set up. Athena took a little stroll through the cities of Japan as she took a look at all the famous different locations like Beigoma Academy, The Rebel Bey-Club Gym, The Spark Devils, The Victories and more. Her final stop was at Wakiyas place which she had visited before when she had participated in the Legend League a month or so prior*

Athena: I need a strategy in order to beat Lane so maybe Wakiya can help me..

*She walks in and she walked the elaborate halls that was Wakiyas mansion and she eventually reached the training area where she finds Wakiya who was standing at one of the stadiums*

Athena: Wakiya!

*Wakiya turned and looked towards her as she came walking over*

Wakiya: Athena, what is it?

Athena: I've been thinking, my match with Lane is just in a few days and i came to the realization that i haven't really done any sort of real training, i need to be fully ready in 4 days so i can beat Lane with no issues. Whatever training you got for me, i'll do it, no questions asked!

*Wakiya smiled as he called over one of his butlers*

Wakiya: Alright then, there'll be 2 things we'll be doing for your training.

Athena: What would that be?

Wakiya: First you'll have a little run on the Komurasaki VR Machine!

Athena: A VR Machine?

Wakiya: Yep, it's a simulator that'll help train you against all sorts of opponents. The data of every Legendary Blader is within its database. Considering you want to train to defeat Lane then you'll be needing to face up against Defense Type legends

Athena: Alright then, let's get started!!

*Athena and Wakiya walk up to the room where the Simulator was plugged in and there was 2 spots for 2 bladers*

Athena: Theres another spot for another blader..

Wakiya: Don't worry, this simulator can be used on 1 or 2 people so you're all good.

*Athena stood on the Player 1 platform and she looked back at Wakiya who was now stood behind a desk as he put on an earpiece*

Athena: So what now?

Wakiya: Just place your bey on the scanner and it'll analyze your data and you'll be ready to use the VR Simulator.

*Athena placed her bey on the scanner and the machine began to scan Adeona and Athena was it emitted a low humming sound and it then released a loud dinging sound*

Computer: Data scan complete. Blader Athena Valhalla and Guardian Adeona.

Wakiya: Well that's your cue, the goggles for the Simulator are right in front of you and you can put them on whenever you're ready.

*Athena put on the VR Goggles and she was immediately transported to a white virtual void and she could still hear Wakiyas voice*

Wakiya: I've picked out the all the Legendary Bladers who are known for using Defense Type bladers, your options are: Sisco, Phi, Gwyn, Me, Boa or Lane.

*Athena scrolled through all the options and she finally picked her perfect opponent: Gwyn Ronny*

Wakiya: Gwyn Ronny huh? Interesting choice! Gwyns bey is Utopia Genesis, a right spin defense type. The location for this match will be... the Grand Arena.

*The virtual white void changes into the legendary Grand Arena, the same place where Valt and Shu battled years ago. Gwyn materialized in front of the stadium as he began to speak in a sort of robotic tone*

Gwyn: Come now, test my perfect equation!

Athena: Wow! It's just like battling the real Gwyn!

Wakiya: The battle will now begin.

Computer: First Battle!!

*Both bladers take positions and the battle was about to start*

Computer: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the center and Genesis raced for the center as Adeona came charging in as its awakened blades began to shine with a purple light*

Gwyn: Genesis! Hold down the center!!

Athena: Alright! Get in there with Ultimate Crush!!

*Adeona clashes with Genesis at full strength as it tried to push it back*

Gwyn: Go!

*The Hybrid Driver on Genesis began to activate and it began to speed up as it raced around the stadium! Adeona tilts on the +L Attachment and chased after it*

Athena: You won't escape!!

*Genesis comes back around and knocks Adeona into the air*

Athena: T-That's amazing! But we won't let it end here!!

*Adeona lands back in the stadium as it began to speed up back towards the center as did Genesis as her Flare began to glow with full power*

Athena: Attack!! Ultimate Crush!!

Gwyn: Utopia Blaster!!

*Both beys collide as the VR Simulator began to spark and smoke as sparks and bolts of electricity began to fly out of the machines motors and vital parts*

Wakiya: W-What is happening! Can the processors not keep up with her or something?!

*Adeona and Genesis clash with full force as a massive explosion erupts from the stadium and Genesis had been burst and Gwyn disappeared*

Athena: Alright! We won!!

*The world around her began to glitch out and it all went black instantly. Athena took off the VR Goggles and the simulator continued to spark and smoke as Athena stared up at the mess*

Athena: What happened?!

Wakiya: It overheated.. however, that was a great battle! Defeating Gwyn even in a simulator is not an easy feat.

Athena: Yeah..

Wakiya: Now it's time for us to battle, the final part of your training.

*Wakiya and Athena went back down to the training area and Wakiya held up his Jet Wyvern*

Wakiya: Alright, show me and Jet Wyvern what your awakened Adeona can really do.

*One of Wakiyas butlers comes up to the stadium and was about to start the battle*

Athena: Wyvern is a defense type with a free rotating ring which has rubber for extra absorption, its Around disk features Metal balls in it to recover when they make contact with the stadium floor and the Just Driver has a super sharp tip which has incredible defense and stamina..

Wakiyas Butler: First Battle!!

Wakiya: Don't hold back now, show me what you've got!

*Athena nodded as her eyes began to emit a purple energy*

Wakiyas Butler: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Wyvern wasted no time taking the center! Adeona raced around the stadium at top speed and raced in for the blow*

Athena: Attack with all you got!

*Adeona launches its attack but it immediately gets repelled by Wyverns free spin ring*

Athena: We're not done yet!

*Adeona continues its barrage as it tried to break past Wyverns extreme defenses*

Wakiya: Attacks like those won't do anything to Wyvern! with its free spin, Wyvern won't be damaged by even the strongest of attacks.

*Wakiya smiled as a purple aura began to surround him, Athena watched in shock as Wyvern wasn't even losing any of its momentum*

Wakiya: Now bring it on! Don't let the battle end there!!

Athena: Cut them down with Ultimate Crush!!

*Adeona came rushing in as its awakened blades began to glow with a streak of purple energy*

Wakiya: Jet Shield!!

*Wyvern uses its free spin ring and repels Adeonas attack and it slams into the wall and flew out of the stadium*

Athena: N-No way..

Wakiyas Butler: Jet Wyvern with an Over Finish! Wakiya Komurasaki earns 1 point!!

Wakiya: Looks like we have some work to do.

*The battles continued and Wakiya was completely dominating! All the battles so far have ended in a ring out or spin finish as Athena couldn't seem to break through Wyverns defenses. The 10th battle was about to begin and Athena staggered to her feet as her eyes were glowing with a purple light*

Athena: I... will win..!!

*Athena changed her chassis into Attack Mode as she placed her bey back onto her launcher*

Wakiya: Looks like she's gonna pull out all the stops in this battle, interesting..

Wakiyas Butler: Tenth Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle was about to start*

Wakiyas Butler: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Wyvern took the center once again as Adeona came rushing super fast*

Wakiya: Bring it on!

Athena: Knock them out of there!!

*Adeona charges in and begins to unleash a full barrage of attacks on Wyvern as it repelled them all with its free spin ring*

Wakiya: Wyvern! Jet Shield!!

*Wyvern repels Adeonas next attack as it began to speed up even more*

Athena: Get back in there! Adeona!!

*Adeona wouldn't stop with the attacks! It deals one attack after the other and was even starting to push it back now*

Wakiya: I-Impossible..!

Athena: NOW GO!!!

*Adeona knocks Wyvern out of the center as it went flying into the air from the attack*

Wakiya: Wyvern! We aren't done yet!!

*Wyvern lands back in the stadium and uses its Metal balls in its Around Disk to recover and head back to the center but it was instantly stopped by Adeona who knocked it away once again*

Athena: Oh no you don't!!

Wakiya: I'll give you credit for breaking through Wyverns defenses but the real battle is just beginning!

*Adeona and Wyvern clash hard and were locked together in a fierce clash as a storm of raging winds erupt from the stadium and blew around the training area of the Komurasaki home! Both beys get knocked back and Wyvern finally retook the center*

Wakiya: Now's the time! Wyvern!!

*Adeona hits the rim of the stadium and was getting even faster as its Golden and White Flare glowed to life*

Athena: Strike them down! Adeona!!

*Adeona rushes in and knocks Wyvern back once again as it skids up to the rim of the stadium and came sliding back down for the next attack*

Wakiya: Wyvern!!

Athena: Adeona!!

*Both beys collide as a purple light shines through the stadium as fierce winds blew in their faces and Wyvern was immediately burst from Adeonas attack! Wakiya was incredibly surprised but he simply smiled at Athenas victory*

Wakiyas Butler: Guardian Adeona with a burst finish! Athena Valhalla wins!!

Athena: Alright!!

Wakiya: That wasn't half bad. Looks like your finally ready to take on Lane.

Athena: Yeah.. i guess i am.

---Later that day---

*Athena meets up with Chiki and has a few training rounds with him*

Chiki: You know since we are friends i wanna know a bit more about you.

Athena: Oh- well, what do you wanna know? There really isn't much to know about me.

Chiki: Well i have one: Is it true you really are a princess?

*Athena stopped in her tracks and she kinda just looked away for a bit*

Athena: Well yeah, it is true..

Chiki: Is something wrong? Did i overstep a boundary?

Athena: You're fine, its just i'm not used to my princess title being thrown around so casually. i'm not often referred to as "Princess Athena" by anyone except by my mom and other people who live with me at Valhalla Manor.

Chiki: I see..

Athena: How did you know i was a princess anyway?

Chiki: Just had a feeling.. you wear very elegant clothing and you give off a very royal aura, i wanted to be sure but i kinda had a bit of a feeling you were a princess.

Athena: Yeah.. sometimes i wish i get rid of the Princess title for one day.. not that i have a problem with it, i just don't want people making it a big deal when it really isn't or if its none of their business.

Chiki: I understand.. maybe you could use a break.

Athena: Thing is though, the dress i'm wearing now was personally made by my mother and it is the standard Valhalla Royal Family dress for a princess to wear. the reason why its purple is because its not just my favorite color but it's extremely important not just to my mother and family name but it's important to me as well.

Chiki: How so?

Athena: The color purple defines who i am as a person. Purple is a mixture of the calming Blue and the Fierce Red and it is often associated with Royalty, Luxury, Power, Devotion, Peace and so much more, most of those things basically define me as a person.

Chiki: Wow.. i actually never knew that..

Athena: Yeah, i never really bothered to tell anyone because i never thought anyone would really care or they would think of me any differently because of who i am.

Chiki: Well you don't have to worry about a thing from me, i never thought i would get the opportunity to meet a real princess.

*Athena smiles as she looked down at her bey Adeona which began to glow brightly*

Chiki: So how did training with Wakiya go? did you find a counter to Lucifer yet?

Athena: No.. the training helped me get a lot stronger but it didn't help me find a counter to Lucifers attack, back to the drawing board i guess.

Chiki: I'm sure you'll find something, i know it.

---Later that night---

*Athena had pretty much decided to make her home back in Shus old apartment. She lied in bed that night as she looked over that the dress that hung on the clothes rack and she looked over at Adeona which lied on the bedside table*

Athena: Adeona.. we're gonna have to work harder, we're still not where i want us to be in terms of power. I know who we're gonna face next..

*Athena lied down in the bed and relaxed and went to sleep*

---The Next Morning---

*Athena woke up pretty early as she ran down to the Cruise Ship and she went inside and found Lui Shirasagijo in one of the training rooms and was using his signature training machine*

Athena: Lui!!

*Lui looked away from his training machine and stared back at Athena*

Lui: Athena, seems like you're back for more.

Athena: Lui, my Adeona has fully awakened to its fullest potential!

Lui: Awakened you say?

*Lui stared at the new Adeona and noticed the wings had moved into perfect alignment*

Lui: Alright then, i'm down for a little playtime!

*Both bladers get ready as they take their positions*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and race around the stadium at full speed and they rush for the center*

Athena: Alright Adeona! Go!!

Lui: Longinus!!

*Both Adeona and Longinus clash with full force but Longinus sends Adeona flying upward thanks to its incredible upper attack*

Lui: So much for an awakening!

Athena: Adeona!!

*Adeona began to fall back down and Longinus began to unleash a fierce barrage of attacks and wouldn't let Adeona recover!*

Athena: Adeona, keep hanging in there!

Lui: It's completely useless!!

*Longinus knocks Adeona away and Athena felt and heard her heart pound with a single loud beat, she felt a surging power rising from the pit of her very being and she screamed out loudly as her white and golden flare began to shine and grow even larger*

Lui: W-What is that?!

Athena: Adeona!!!

*Adeona countered Longinus' attack and recovered as it began to overflow with Flare*

Lui: I said it's useless! Longinus!!

*Adeona and Longinus come in for the attack and clash with full force as everything went inverted for a split second and Longinus went flying and burst from the sheer impact of Adeonas attack*

Lui: W-What the-?!

*Athena looked up at Lui with fierce eyes, her eyes were glowing with a bright purple and she gave off a fierce but determined smile*

Athena: I win.
