*Athena walked into Shu's apartment and plopped herself onto the couch, Shu looked pretty concerned as he watched Athena hide her face in her knees*

Shu: Are you still upset about leaving?..

*Athena nodded, not looking up at him. Shu sighed and sat down next to her*

Shu: Your mother actually pitched an idea that'll probably make you feel a lot better. Well it was more MY idea but your mother agreed to it.

Athena: What is it?

Shu: We decided to bring 7 people along for the ride for a 1 week visit, and Elaina is paying for the private jet tickets so we're all set.

Athena: You did all that for... Me?

Shu: I knew you weren't ready to say goodbye to everyone so i felt this was our only option.. The ones who are coming with us are Valt, Rantaro, Hikaru, Hyuga, Aiga, Drum and Delta. I chose the ones you're closest to.

Athena: Thank you Shu.. I really mean it.

*Shu smiled and stands up, pulling her up with him*

Shu: Lets go.. Im gonna take you to the Bombers. You're a couple minutes late but I'm sure Honcho wont mind.

*Athena and Shu left and walked her to the Bombers. As they walked, Athena decided she wanted to take the rest of the walk herself*

Athena: Shu, i think I got it from here.

Shu: Alrighty then, see you later I guess.

*Shu left and Athena continued her walk... But her destination wasn't the Bombers but the Sparking Arena, Aiga had asked her the night before to come to the Arena as he had a surprise for her. When she finally arrived, Aiga was already waiting for her... As well as a massive crowd.. And a referee.. And announcer Hanami!!

Hanami: Ok boys and girls, we bring you a truly epic Exibition Match LIVE from the Sparking Arena training area!!

*the crowd cheered wildly, Athena went to her corner and decided to play along*

Hanami: In the red corner, she has the fiery spirit of 1000 suns, a heart of joy and true love and the Legend League Runner-Up, please welcome to the stage The White Star, Athena Valhalla!!

*Athena walked on stage a bit nervous, Aiga smiled as the battle started*

Aiga: Lets make this a fun battle!

Athena: Yeah, lets do this!

Referee: First Battle, Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*both beys land in the stadium but the fun didn't last long as another bey was launched into the stadium and burst both Achilles and Adeona at the same time, Athena gasped as she instantly recognized the bey, it was a new Lucifer. Lane stepped out of the shadows as he walked on wearing a new outfit*

Athena: Lane?!..

Lane: I found you at last!

Referee: Hey kid, what is the meaning of this?!

Lane: I want you to reset the match, im taking Aigas place here!

Athena: Wait what?!

Aiga: Are you serious?!

Hanami: What's the call ref?

*the Ref sighed and rubbed his forehead*

Referee: Theres nothing in the rulebook that says an exhibition match cant be reset, the match is now Lane Valhalla VS Athena Valhalla!!

*The match was reset and Lane held up his new bey to Athena, the bey gleamed in the light*

Lane: This! Is Lucifer The End!!

Athena: Lucifer The End?!..

Lane: I'll show you and the entire world its true power!! This will be a Burst-Only Match, no other finishes count!

*Athena frowned angrily as the battle began*

Referee: First Battle!! Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*both beys landed in the stadium and Lucifer The End takes the center, Adeona comes in to land the first attack*

Athena: Now go, Adeona!! Knock it out with Heaven Upper!!

*Adeona strikes at Lucifer with all its might and knocks it around like a ping pong. Lane simply grins as he watches the onslaught*

Athena: More! Attack more!!

*Adeona launches Lucifer away but it managed to recover using the Drift driver, Lane clenches his fist as his Flare flows to life*

Lane: Break them with The End Disaster!!

*Lucifers blades glowed as it raced towards Adeona! with quick maneuvers, Adeona was able to dodge the attack and escape to the upper deck*

Athena: Lets do this!

*Adeonas full powered Flare burned to life and raced down towards Lucifer from the Upper Deck. Lucifers lock begins to advance as Adeona slams itself into it*

Athena: Break through!!!

Lane: Limit Break: The End!!

*a part of Lucifers ring slams down, pushing Adeona against the stadium floor with incredible force. Adeona collapses under the pressure and goes flying out of the arena, Athena watched in horror as Lucifer continued to spin with its Flare lit ablaze*

Referee: Lucifer The End! Over Finish, due to Burst-Only ruling no points are awarded!!

*Athena picks up her bey once again and stared at Lane who simply grinned like a madman, Athena couldn't believe Lane used a Limit Break Bey too.. Her disbelief continued when she finally realized what Lanes new outfit was, she had only seen that type of clothing once before: It was the Snake Pit suit! She tries to ignores it and gets ready for the second battle*

Referee: Second Battle!

Athena: Limit Break: The End.. There's gotta be a way to counter an attack like that.

Lane: I will make you feel true pain.. Lucifer The End will send you to hell!

Referee: Ready Set!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*the next battle began and Adeona was aiming to end it in one blow*

Athena: Blow it away!!

*Lucifer was knocked against the wall, forcing the lock to advance and activate Lucifers Limit Break. Lane growls as Lucifer recovered and took the center*

Lane: Tch..

*Adeona raced ahead and prepared to unleash another attack*

Lane: It ends here!! The End Wall!!

*And with that, a barrier forms around Lucifer and Adeonas attacks were blocked. No matter how hard she tried, Athena couldn't manage to break the barrier. Adeona then loses control and slams into the wall and knocks itself out*

Referee: Lucifer The End! Over Finish!!

*Lanes rage boiled as he started getting incredibly frustrated*

Lane: Burst already..

*multiple rounds passed as Lucifer completely demolishes Adeona in every round with Over Finishes! Lanes flare grew and grew every time he won, Athena had no chance.. She was powerless against Lucifers defenses and its Limit Break... Athena was at Lanes mercy.. The 14th battle was underway and Lucifer nails Adeona with a vicious onslaught!*

Lane: That's it.. More.. INCINERATE THEM TO ASH!!

*Lanes flare rages out and swarms Athena, the flare took on the form of tendrils and wraps itself around Athenas arms, legs and waist tightly.. She knew what he was doing, he was trying to corrupt her again, Athena couldn't move.. Not even a muscle! Lucifers flare glows to life as its chip glowed*

Lane: Lucifer!!

*Lucifers flare grew to the max as it was engulfed in a wildfire of darkness, Athenas body felt super cold as she watched Lucifer charge toward Adeona. Athena screamed as her flare disintegrated the evil flare that wrapped itself around her, Adeonas flare shined as the legendary voice of Adeona echoed in her mind*

Adeona: Let's do this!! Athena!!!

Athena: Yeah! Leave it to me!!!

*with all her might, Athenas hair explodes in a fiery white inferno. Her hair went from a majestic purple to an angelic white. Adeona speeds up as it heads on the Upper Deck*

Athena: I know your flare is capable of more than this evil!!

*Adeona dives towards Lucifer at full speed, aiming to finish it here*

Athena: I know there's light in you! I'll draw it out of you with Heaven Slash!!

*Lane grinned, this is exactly what he wanted her to do. Athenas attack landed and then..*

Lane: Destroy them! Limit Break: The End!

*Lucifer sends Adeona flying and burst it! completely shocked, Athena falls to her hands and knees instantly. She had lost to Lane.. Again*

Referee: Lucifer The End!! Burst Finish! With a score of 2-0, Lane Valhalla is the winner!

Lane: What a pathetic excuse of a blader.. You think going home is gonna help you beat me?! The real issue is you and that garbage you call Adeona!! If you want to be stronger, then ditch that piece of rubbish and make a bey that actually enjoys blading with you, if you don't then you'll always be weak.

*Athena shook as tears rolled down her cheeks and stained her dress, Athena retrieves her bey and runs away.. Far way, far from people, far from Legendary Bladers and far away from Lane. She stopped at the edge of a cliff and held Adeona in her hand, she couldn't keep doing this anymore.. She places Adeona on the ground and turned to walk away*

Athena: Im sorry Adeona.. But i have to let you go.. This is goodbye.

*She was instantly dragged into the Avatar World and Adeona stared down at her, even though her face couldn't move.. Athena could tell her bey was very upset.*

Adeona: So is this it? After all we been through, you're just gonna toss me aside.. If you're gonna abandon me then do it like a badass!

Athena: Im not the mood for jokes today Adeona!! So just stop!!

Adeona: Oh c'mon, i know you're the moody one in your family but please, tone it down a bit.

*Athena sighed and calmed down some*

Athena: Im sorry.. Its just that- i failed you Adeona and I just can't live with that guilt.. Id feel terrible if I don't do this.

Adeona: What makes you think a simple loss is going to change anything?

Athena: What do you mean?

Adeona: When I met you for the first time, i knew you would be the perfect user and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. You're a strong lady, Athena and you always have been. I enjoy spreading my wings and fighting alongside you, it really makes me smile knowing i get to battle with you all the time.

*tears of joy and happiness fell from Athenas eyes, all this time she never considered what Adeona wanted and only what she wanted*

Athena: Adeona.. I-

Adeona: I know this is a lot to ask coming from me but.. I want to keep fighting alongside you, i want to be there for you and most importantly I don't want our friendship to end.

Athena: Adeona.. Im so so sorry! I want to fight alongside you too, i can't believe I let Lane get in my head again..

Adeona: I see.. However, it's about time you stop listening to what he says and start listening to what your heart says..

Athena: I will.. Thanks Adeona!

*Adeona disappeared and Athena comes back and retrieves her bey and returns to town. The next day, it was time to return home.. Athena and the selected Legends get on the plane, Elaina sits by her daughter who stared out the window.*

Elaina: You alright?

Athena: Yeah, its just im gonna miss Japan.. Ive had so many fond memories here and i'll never see this place again..

*Elaina smiled and hugged her daughter tightly*

Elaina: We'll come back one day, i promise.

*Athena smiled and the jet raced down the runway and lifted it into the skies. Their destination: The Gates Of Heaven!*
