~the battle began and the 8 beys landed in the stadium, Lucifer took the center as the other 7 picked their opponents! Hyperion was speeding towards Adeona~

Athena: Hyuga!!

Hyuga: Hit it a crash crash! Super Strike!!!

Athena: Get lost! Guide Slash!!

*Adeona made short work of Hyperion, surprising Hyuga. Athena turned her attention to Lane who was already locked in a fierce clash with Aiga, Free and Lui, without hesitation she joined in the fray. Meanwhile Wakiya was fighting Rantaro*

Wakiya: Alright Wyvern! Pulse Shield!!

Rantaro: Not on my watch! Glide Tornado!!

*Ragnaruks tornado takes form and zaps away Wyverns stamina, causing it to stop*

Wakiya: What the-

~Lucifer was struggling to keep the 4 beys off of it, its barrier was slowly going down~

Athena: We're doing it!!

Lane: *roars* LUCIFER!!!

Lane: You will all be consumed!!!

Free: Now Fafnir! Mirage Claw!!

Lui: Raging Upper!!

Aiga: Infinite Sword!!

Athena: Guiding Upper!!

Rantaro: Glide Tornado!!!

~the 5 beys attack broke Lucifers barrier~

Lane: Enough! Destroy them all with Flare Supernova!!!

Athena: Wait did he just say-

*a massive ball of purple fire emerges from the stadium, Adeona and Achilles were the only survivors, everyone else had been blown out of the stadium. Adeona and Achilles had fallen into the lower level*

Athena: Whew that was close!

Aiga: Indeed.

Lane: You.. You dare resist Lucifer!!

Athena: Lets do this Aiga!!

Aiga: Yeah!

Athena: Adeona!!

Aiga: Blow it away Achilles!!!

Lane: Here i come!!!

*Lucifer joined them in the lower level and claimed the center*

Lane: Come! Show me what you've got!

Athena/Aiga: Lets go!!

*Adeona and Achilles unleash a rapid barrage of attacks, however Lucifer repelled the attacks*

Aiga: Nothings working!!

Athena: Aiga! Lets do it again!

Aiga: Yeah!

Athena: Guide Slash!

Aiga: Infinite Buster!!

*the 2 beys clashed with Lucifer, Lucifers avatar breathes fire upon the avatars of Adeona and Achilles*

Lane: This ends now! Flare Wall!!

*Adeona and Achilles stamina both fizzle out and the only one left standing was Lucifer*

Referee: Flare Lucifer wins with a Spin Finish! Lane Valhalla is the winner!

*Lane grabs his bey and walks offstage as Athena watched, worried*

~later, Athena met up with Aiga who was getting water~

Athena: Oh hey Aiga.

Aiga: Athena! The machine gave me a second bottle, you want it?

Athena: Sure.

*they sit together for a while as they drank their water.*

Athena: That battle royale was fun, too bad we lost though.

Aiga: Yeah.. Win or lose, as long as you have fun battling.

*Athena smiled as they got up to watch the 2nd Battle Royale. When they got to the arena, the screen display showed that Hikaru and Xhaka had already been defeated and eliminated from the battle. Valt was locked in a three way clash with Shu and Sisco. Gwyn was just in the center as Drum and Delta were locked in a chaotic clash*

Valt: Valkyrie!! Blow Satan and Spriggan out of the stadium!!

*Spriggan was knocked out but Satan was able to recover*

Sisco: Demolish it with Universe Drift!!

Valt: I don't think so!! Brave Sword!

*Satan was burst as Valkyrie comes barreling towards Dragon and Diabolos*

Drum/Delta: Wait what?!-

Valt: Valkyrie!!

*Valkyrie clashed with Dragon and Diabolos, Genesis was now on the move as it sped towards the trio*

Gwyn: Go! Utopia Blaster!!

*the attack blew the 4 remaining beys back and they all burst almost at the same time but it was way to close to call so the referee had to review the slow-mo*

Athena: Who do you think burst last Aiga?

Aiga: Gwyns attack has an immense burst risk and Valkyrie took a direct hit so those 2 definitely burst around the same time, so it was either Dragon or Diabolos that burst last.. Its a coin flip honestly..

Referee: After looking over the footage, Death Diabolos was the last to burst therefore Delta Akane wins!!

*the crowd cheered and went wild, A new flare blazed out of Athena as she stared down at herself and ran off. Athena ran through the halls of the Sparking Arena and Lane blocked her path.*

Athena: Lane?

Lane: Its just as I suspected.. Your flare is evolving..

Athena: I-i... How did you know?!

Lane: It was obvious. I predicted all of this the moment you created Adeona. But that doesn't matter because i'll be taking everything you cared about in this battle.

*Athena stared at Lane, absolutely horrified*

Athena: I don't want anything to do with your games, i refuse to let you destroy me.

*she turned to walk away but Lane grabbed her arm firmly*

Lane: You don't have a choice.

*Athena was genuinely scared, she looked Lane in the eyes almost in tears. Lane smiled with a sinister vibe*
