The Search Begins
Group Axe, Location: Middle of nowhere
Pippin slowly and causally walked over to Listal.
She tried to act like she didn't notice him.
"Um, eh er, uhhhhhhh."
Pippin couldn't speak.
"Do you need something?"
Listal asked akwardly.
"I just uh wanted to say hi..."
Pippin said.
"Oh hi."
Listal replied.
Pippin was turning as red as a tomato.
Listal was turning red too.
"Is that all you needed to say?"
Listal asked.
"Well, kind of. Unless you have to say something."
Pippin said as he smirked.
"I can't really think of anything."
Listal said.
Pippin nodded his head.
"It's funny how we got in the same group."
Pippin said.
Listal smiled.
"Yeah, that is funny."
Pippin was trying not to pass out.
He was actually talking to her!
He thought of something to say, just to keep their conversation going.
"So, do you travel often?"
Pippin asked.
"Sort of, this is actually one of the first times I left the Shire ever since I had to look after my younger brother."
Listal answered.
"Oh you have a brother? What's his name?"
Pippin asked curiously.
"Ekbar."
Listal replied.
"Oh, that's a nice name. I haven't really ever seen you around the Shire."
Pippin said.
"Well, I don't really get out much. My brother is kind of a handful."
Listal laughed.
"I understand."
Pippin smiled.
They did not talk much after that.
Either of them did not know what to talk about.
But Pippin hoped they would have another conversation soon.
Group Sword, Location: Somewhere near a mountain
Esmerelda hadn't sang her ridiculous song since Aragorn told her to stop.
Even though she wanted to sing it so badly.
Instead she decided whistling would be better.
Except she was a terrible whistler.
So it was like she was just blowing her spit everywhere.
Arvendir walked beside Aragorn.
Merilwen and Ithilwen watched them talk back and fourth to each other.
"I wonder what they're talking about."
Ithilwen whispered to Merilwen.
"Yeah, who knows."
Merilwen said as she smirked.
"So you're still into Legolas, am I right?"
Merilwen asked.
"Yeah..."
Ithilwen sighed.
"You don't have to feel bad about it, I've liked Arvendir ever since we were kids."
Merilwen laughed.
Ithilwen did too.
"Well, it's just that I know a lot of other elleth's like him as well so it's just weird for me."
Ithilwen said.
Merilwen nodded her head, "That's true."
Esmerelda turned around and looked at Ithilwen and Merilwen.
"Do I sense a love crisis going on? Because trust me, I know what to do in these situations."
Esmerelda smiled.
Ithilwen looked at Esmerelda strangely.
"I highly doubt that."
Merilwen said.
"Oh but it is true! I've helped so many people, and look at them now! They couldn't be happier, some of my patients are some of our good friends actually."
Esmerelda said.
"Oh really? Like who?"
Ithilwen asked.
"Well let's see... Legolas has actually been one of them, but let's not get into very much detail about that. Frodo, Prisca, lots of other people. Trust me I am GOOD."
Esmerelda winked at both of them.
"Have any of them actually ended up with the person they liked?"
Ithilwen asked.
"Nope! But trust me, I helped them out with talking to the person. And it worked!" Esmerelda smiled.
Ithilwen rolled her eyes.
Ithilwen looked at Merilwen.
Then back at Esmerelda.
"Well you can't help me, apparently I've been separated from the one I'm having a 'love crisis' with."
Ithilwen said sarcastically.
"Oh well! If you do need me in the future, I'll always be there for you."
Esmerelda smiled.
Ithilwen nodded her head.
"I wonder if she is actually good."
Merilwen said quietly.
"She possibly could be."
Ithilwen smirked.
Group Bow, Location: In a big forest
Livian and Kili have been talking a lot.
Legolas noticed every now and then.
Oh please Livian, do not fall in love with a dwarf...
Frodo walked by Legolas a lot.
Prisca sort of walked by Eärna every now and then.
Losider stayed by Legolas as well.
"So Legolas, do you know where we're going?"
Frodo asked.
"Um, yes I do. We should be at our first bird owner soon, she lives in this forest. I will warn you all she is very, rowdy."
Legolas told them.
"How rowdy?"
Losider asked.
"Uh, very very rowdy. So she may say or so something strange."
Legolas replied.
"How do you know this bird lady?"
Frodo asked.
"It's a very long story..."
Legolas sighed.
A tall tree with a door and a lamp was in front of them.
"We are here, she may not remember me. But if she does then please protect me."
Legolas said.
"Protect you?"
Losider asked.
"Yes, if she remembers me. Because our last and I wished final conversation did not end very well. So she may try to hurt me, you never know."
Legolas said.
"Alright... Shall I knock?"
Losider asked.
Legolas nodded.
Losider was about to knock just before Legolas stopped him.
"Also, her bird is her best friend so it will try to protect her as much as it can. If it's around..."
Legolas added.
He let go of Losider's hand then he knocked.
"Oh! Cussa! We have a visitor!"
A voice from inside yelled.
"That's her bird's name."
Legolas said.
The door opened before them.
A shorter figure stood in front of them.
"Oh Cussa! It's more than one visitor! It's seven visitors! Oh boy! Oh boy! Come inside come inside, I'll make some tea."
The dwarf said.
"We aren't staying for very long, just need to ask a few questions."
Losider said.
"I'm still making tea!"
The dwarf said.
Legolas started to laugh a little.
"What is your name?"
Losider asked.
"I'm Jolonna! Who are all of you?"
She called from the other room.
"I'm Losider, my friends are Prisca, Livian, Kili, Frodo, Eärna, and Legolas."
Losider replied.
The sound of glass shattering on the floor filled each of their ears.
"Did you say... Legolas?"
Jolonna said as she came around the corner.
Legolas was sort of hiding himself.
Losider sighed.
"Yes... Legolas, is something wrong with him being here?"
Losider asked.
Jolonna's eye twitched.
She walked closer and closer to where Legolas was.
Legolas tried to hide himself.
Jolonna saw him though.
Legolas was hiding behind Losider.
Jolonna snuck from behind him.
She tapped on his back.
Legolas jumped and screamed like a little girl.
"You're not aloud here! I told you that, now you'll pay!!!"
Jolonna said.
Losider stopped her.
"We do not have time for this, we just need to ask a few questions. Possibly have a look around too."
Losider said.
Jolonna glared at Legolas.
He was trying to act normal.
She looked at everyone and studied their faces.
Jolonna saw Frodo, she almost mistaken him for a dwarf.
Her eyes widened.
She walked over to him, she held out her hand.
"Hello fine gentlemen."
Jolonna waited for him to do the proper thing.
Instead Frodo shook her hand and stared at her.
Jolonna was shocked.
"Can I get you something to drink? Some tea perhaps?"
Jolonna asked.
She batted her eyelashes at him.
"No, I'm fine."
Frodo replied.
Prisca rolled her eyes.
Then she nudged Frodo.
"Oh right. Jolonna, we need to take a look around your home. If that's alright with you."
Frodo said.
"Of course, anything for you."
Jolonna replied.
"Alright! Thank you for letting us look around, we'll only be a minute."
Prisca said quickly, interrupting the awkward conversation.
She grabbed Frodo by the arm and they started looking around.
Jolonna then looked back at Legolas.
Her dark green eyes glared at him.
She turned back to her kitchen and tended to her tea.
"I hope she knows that I'm a hobbit, not a dwarf."
Frodo said as he and Prisca walked around the house.
Searching for anything suspicious.
"Yeah, I don't think she could tell."
Prisca replied.
"Do I look like a dwarf?"
Frodo asked.
"No, you look like a handsome hobbit."
Prisca answered not realizing what she said.
"A handsome hobbit?"
Frodo repeated.
Prisca stopped and turned red.
"Is that what I said? Oh I meant just a regular hobbit!"
Prisca laughed awkwardly.
She quickly denied it.
Frodo looked at her strangely.
"Alright..."
He said to himself.
Then he looked around more.
Eärna and Legolas searched different rooms.
"So why is she mad at you?"
Eärna asked curiously.
"It's a long story, I don't really want to talk about it."
Legolas replied.
Eärna shrugged her shoulders.
She then opened a door.
A loud shrieking noise came from the room.
She quickly slammed the door shut.
"I think her bird is in there."
Eärna said as she laughed.
Legolas laughed.
"Yes that would be Cussa."
Losider came in the room they were in, "I feel like she's not our thief, if she was I don't think she would like Frodo."
Losider said.
Legolas sighed with relief.
"I knew she wouldn't do this. Let's get out of here. I can't stand her."
Legolas quickly walked out of the room.
He found Frodo and Prisca.
"Let's get out of here."
Legolas said.
They both nodded quickly.
Especially Frodo.
So they followed after Legolas.
Luckily Jolonna was in the kitchen singing her head off.
So they ran for it.
They ran until they reached the end of the forest.
"Well, you were right Legolas. She was very rowdy."
Kili said as he took in deep breaths.
"And strange."
Frodo added.
Legolas laughed.
"I warned you guys."
Group Staff, Location: Near a big lake
Gandalf was quiet for awhile.
He didn't really talk much for the whole time.
He just walked slowly.
The sun was setting.
Gandalf thought it would be a good time to stop and rest.
"If someone would like to get some firewood that would be nice."
Gandalf said.
"I'll go."
Merry said.
"Alright, Grinila why don't you go with him?"
Gandalf suggested.
Grinila nodded her head, of course wasn't going to tell Gandalf no.
So she followed Merry.
"So Grinila, Es tells me that you like Frodo. Is that true?"
Merry asked.
"Uh, yes. I didn't think she would go around and tell everyone though."
Grinila replied.
"Well that's Es for you."
Merry laughed.
Grinila did too.
"Well, I can't say if Frodo likes you or not. He doesn't really tell me about his love life."
Merry said.
"It's alright, I like to wonder about it."
Grinila replied.
They found a few logs and sticks.
After they did they decided to head back to where they had set up.
"Es can be annoying at times, but when I'm not around her I kind of miss her annoying company. I guess it's just because she's my sister."
Merry sighed.
"Yeah, she is fun to be around. At times."
Grinila laughed.
Merry did too.
"You were pretty shy when we first met you. You aren't as shy now."
Merry said.
"Yeah, you're right. I guess I have stepped out of my comfort zone."
Grinila said.
They reached their camp and Elrohir started a fire.
Gimli told everyone stories.
All of them listened.
Milia looked up at the stars.
They were beautiful that night.
She sort of missed Legolas and Livian.
She had just been reunited with Livian.
Now she's been separated from both of them.
But she thought of Merry.
He's been separated from Esmerelda.
Milia learned that being away from family isn't fun.
At all.
