Leaving Rivendell
"Wake up Aragorn."
Legolas said as he shook Aragorn.
Aragorn sat up and looked around.
"We have to go!"
He exclaimed.
"Calm down Aragorn, it's not even dawn yet."
Legolas said.
Aragorn rubbed his head.
"Good."
Aragorn said as he laid back down.
"Aragorn that doesn't mean you need to go back to sleep."
Legolas said as he rolled his eyes.
"I know, I'll be up in a minute."
Aragorn yawned.
"Aragorn, everyone is waiting for you. We're all ready."
Legolas said.
Aragorn shot up.
"Alright well let's get going then."
Legolas laughed as he walked over to his group.
"Alright everyone, this bird thing could have gone anywhere. We're going to find out where, Group Staff! You will be searching all East of Middle Earth. Group Bow, you'll be searching all West of Middle Earth. Group Axe, you'll be searching all North of Middle Earth. And finally my group, Group Sword will be searching all South. Everyone good with that?"
Aragorn said.
Each leader nodded their head.
"What if a group finds it? Then what do we do?"
Thaladir asked.
"Meet back here, blow this super loud horn when you do. It can be heard from miles and miles away."
Aragorn said.
He gave each leader a horn.
Legolas looked at his curiously.
Then back at Aragorn.
"I memorized what the object looks like. So someone else can have the paper."
Legolas said.
Aragorn took the paper from him, then gave it to Thaladir.
"You'll need it, Gandalf already knows what it looks like."
Aragorn said.
"Alright! Groups let's set off! Good luck to all of you!"
Said Aragorn.
He led his group in the direction they needed to go.
Ithilwen looked back at Legolas.
Who was looking at her too.
She smiled and waved.
He smiled back.
The Staff group went their way.
Laineth waved to Legolas.
He waved back.
What did I get myself into?
Thaladir's group left, Legolas's group was the last one to leave.
As they were walking Legolas wanted to see who he had.
"Livian, Prisca, Frodo, Kili, Losider, and Eärna."
Legolas said to himself.
"How do you suppose we'll find this object Legolas?"
Losider asked.
"I'm not sure, I guess we'll just have to try our hardest. Ask anyone that we come across."
Legolas answered.
Losider nodded his head.
"He said the bird had a rider, I wish he would have told us what the rider looked like. It would help."
Losider said.
"I know a few people who own birds, but I do not know if they would ever steal from Aragorn."
Legolas said.
"Then we should go to them, see if they know anything."
Losider suggested.
"I was thinking that we should probably do that."
Legolas replied.
Group Staff, Location: A couple of miles away from Rivendell
"So Gandalf, how will we find this thing Aragorn lost?"
Merry asked.
"Well first off, Aragorn did not lose it. It was stolen from him. Also I do not know."
Gandalf said.
Well that was helpful...
Merry thought.
He looked at his traveling companions.
It was going to be boring because he didn't have Pippin.
At least Gimli was there.
Milia was silent, she knew Legolas probably wasn't happy that she wasn't in his group.
But she didn't mind it.
She was actually happy to be in that group.
If she wasn't then poor Grinila may have been the only girl.
Also Elrohir was there, so that made her happy as well.
The dance last night was very fun.
She put it as one of the best nights of her life.
She hoped that Elrohir did as well.
Group Axe, Location: A few miles away from Rivendell
Pippin felt very awkward when he was around Listal.
She was the prettiest hobbit he had ever laid eyes on.
He tried his best not to do anything foolish.
He wondered if he should say something to her.
After all they were the only hobbits in the group.
He couldn't decided if he should or not
His eyes glanced over at her.
She was looking at him.
They both quickly looked away.
Pippin looked back.
When she wasn't looking.
But someone did notice him looking.
"What are you looking at Pippin?"
Laineth asked, while trying to follow his gaze.
"Nothing."
Pippin quickly replied.
He looked up at Laineth.
She looked down at him.
"Are you sure it's just nothing?"
Laineth asked with a smile.
Pippin quickly nodded his head.
"Why don't you go talk to her? I don't think she feels comfortable."
Laineth suggested.
"What? Me? Talk to such a beautiful thing like her? No, no I'm not worthy."
Pippin said.
Laineth rolled her eyes.
"Well, Pippin I think you like her. A lot."
Laineth laughed.
"You could just say hi. It isn't that hard."
Laineth said.
Pippin looked over at Listal.
"I don't know... What if she thinks I'm weird or something?"
Pippin asked.
"You aren't weird Pippin, and if she does think you're weird then don't let it get to you. Who cares what other people, well hobbits... Think of you?"
Laineth said then smiled at Pippin.
"Alright... I'll go say hi."
Pippin said.
He took in a deep breath then walked over to Listal.
Group Sword, Location: Few miles away from Rivendell
"WE'RE OFF TO FIND ARAGORNS STOLEN OBJECTTTTTT, OHHHHH WE'RE OFF TO FIND ARAGORNS STOLEN OBJECT OHHHHHHH!"
Esmerelda sang at the top of her lungs.
Ithilwen and Merilwen plugged their ears. Aragorn tried so hard to ignore it.
Sam didn't seem to notice her singing.
Arvendir just laughed every now and then.
"Esmerelda you're killing my ears!"
Ithilwen said.
"OHHHHHHHHHHH WE'RE OFF TO FIND ARAGORNS STOLEN OBJECT!!!!! OOOHHHHHHHHH"
Esmerelda sang even louder.
Aragorn stopped and turned around and grabbed Esmerelda by the shoulders.
"If you want to help me find my stolen object, then PLEASE be quiet. Alright?!"
Aragorn snapped.
Esmerelda nodded her head.
Aragorn let go of her shoulders then began walking again.
"I hope Listal will be alright by herself, I mean she rarely goes places without me."
Merilwen sighed.
Ithilwen placed her hand on Merilwen's shoulder.
"I'm sure she'll be fine, she'll make friends with the people in her group."
Ithilwen assured her.
"I hope so... I'm one of her only friends, besides her brother."
Merilwen said.
"She'll just have to make some new ones."
Ithilwen smiled.
Arvendir listened to their conversation.
Wishing that Listal was there with them so Merilwen would be happy.
He didn't like to see her sad.
Group Bow, Location: You all probably know...
"Eärna, how have you been? It has been awhile since we've last seen each other."
Legolas asked.
Eärna looked at him.
"I've been good, yeah it has been quite awhile I just haven't been around Mirkwood lately. Well, I've been around Mirkwood just not-"
"I get what you mean."
Legolas said.
"Yeah."
Eärna sighed.
"Well that's too bad, I've missed your company we used to be really good friends."
Legolas said.
"Yes, I do miss those days."
Eärna said as a small smile spread across her face.
"Since you're a friend to me and what not, also you're a elleth. Do you think you could help me out with some other elleth problems? It would help me out a lot."
Legolas asked.
Eärna was shocked about what he had just said.
She had almost forgot that he didn't know that she liked him.
"Uh, yeah sure, why not?"
She said.
"Alright thank you Eärna, I've been kind of stuck."
Legolas said.
"Anytime."
Eärna smiled.
"Well, anyways. There's two different elleths, I'm not sure if you know them but there is Laineth and Ithilwen."
Legolas said.
"I sort of know them."
Eärna replied.
"Alright well, I'm kind of stuck in between. Both of them are very nice, and a good friend to me. But not like our friendship, ours is probably closer than what I have with them."
Legolas paused and took in a deep breath.
"Take your time, you aren't being rushed here. Keep talking."
Eärna smiled.
Legolas looked at her.
"That's it!"
Eärna looked at him curiously.
"What's it?"
"What you just said, about taking my time. That's what I need to do."
Legolas said as he smiled big.
"Oh, well I was just saying that because you were talking fast."
Eärna said as she laughed.
"Thank you Eärna."
Legolas said.
"Not a problem."
Eärna replied with a smile.
"Do you remember when you got stuck In that tall tree and you were scared to come down?"
Legolas asked.
"Oh please let's not go back to that."
Eärna laughed.
Legolas laughed as well, "That was before you became apart of the Woodland Guard, then I didn't really see you much."
Legolas said.
"Yeah, I guess I kind of got busy with that. But I realized things aren't as fun when you aren't around."
Eärna laughed.
Legolas laughed too, "I guess I can be fun at times."
Eärna nodded her head.
"Legolas, you remember Kili. Right?"
Livian said from behind them.
"Of course, how could I forget?"
Legolas said.
"Just wondering!"
Livian said.
After that Eärna and Legolas didn't really talk.
Eärna did cherish their talk though.
Besides the fact that she possibly wasn't one of those elleths that he was talking about.
But things could change.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Hey two chapters done in one day! Not bad, even though one was short.
Who do you think Legolas will end up with? Who knows, It's hard when there's three elleth's who like him in this book! Haha.
Until next time!
