"The new boy's totally eyeing you up," my friend said to me, nudging me in the direction of him.

"Luke? Gross, he lives next door but one to me," I shuddered.

"I think he wants to, you know, ditch the 'but one' and possibly the 'next door' bit too and switch it with 'with me'."

"What?" I was extremely confused by my friend's riddles.

"He totally likes you, Torey!" She exclaimed.

"Gross," I repeated, taking a bite of my sandwich.
