After a bizarre testing day, Syrah is visited by Satan and an angel who need her help in taming their son, Adonis. Adonis is human, they claim, but certain emotions can trigger the other two personas of his soul, Marshall the demon prince and Kellan the Angel. The angel and Satan task Syrah with controlling him and raising him, although she's going to have to become supernatural if she's going to do it.
