Kind of a twist off the last idea but for an older generation.

For whatever reason (I know what mine is, but I'll leave that yto you guys to figure one out so it raises your stakes in your own story) people want revenge on this dude.   in the first couple of times we see him, he's not very likeable, he's arrogant, brash, demeaning, and dissimive to say the least.  

Whatever their reasons people in his work place want to get rid of him.  At the office Christmas party (or somethign like it), they set a plan and try to trap him to get him fired, it involves getting him blackout drunk and then setting up a lot of things so that they can use the CCTV footage int he building to make it look like he slept with the boss's wife or soemthing equally damning.

Through the story as he works through who did it and why we see that he's not so bad after all, or then again maybe we don't, totally up to you.

Is he good, is he bad, does anyone die, is this just a normal workplace drama type story?  so many possible ways this one could go.
