Jane Davis, known on-screen as Willow, is plain. She's never stuck out, always blending in without meaning to. She's never had very high self-esteem, always believing everyone when they tell her she's plain.

Willow is overflowing with confidence and charisma, while Jane can barely talk to people without stumbling over her words. When Jane finds out her boyfriend of two years is cheating on her, she wishes she were Willow. Willow would know what to do. But she's just Jane.

Jane's best friend is Prince Pretty himself, Tyler Breeze, who is oozing confidence. When he finds out her boyfriend cheated on her, he makes it his goal to help Jane realize how great she is. He's always done this, but now he's trying harder, refusing to stop until she believes in herself.

Everyone loves Willow, but Tyler loves Jane even more.

This idea just randomly came to me!  The love interest was a toss up between Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler, but I ended up choosing Tyler, as I haven't seen much stories about him.

Jane Davis was the plainest name I could come up with. xD And I just really like the name Willow.  Jane's boyfriend isn't anyone special, but if you wrote this, you could either make him an OC or just use a Superstar.  It doesn't matter to me. (He cheated on her because she was so plain and he basically walked all over her, so he found someone new.)

This isn't named after a song, but it totally could be called Diary of Jane based on the song by Breaking Benjamin.  I prefer the current title though.
