My Demons [Cesaro/Sami Zayn + OC]
Before I get to the idea, I'd just like to say that the Superstar used in this story could be Sami Zayn (who I use in the description) or Cesaro. Either will work, and if you'd like to write this, you can choose between the two.
"I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim."
Jenna has a dark past.
She doesn't talk about it; she refuses to. Instead, she keeps everything bottled up inside. If it ever threatened to make its way out of the confines of her mind, she would do whatever she could to keep it hidden.
Usually, she'd take it out on her opponent. Wrestling in CZW, where death matches and blood were common, made it easy for her. Sometimes, though, it didn't work, and she'd resort to drinking her demons away. Of course, she can't drown her demons, because they know how to swim.
One day, when she is wrestling a regular match, she is spotted by a recruiter for the WWE, and is offered a contract on the spot. After signing it, however, Jenna demonstrates her moveset in the ring, showing the WWE officials what she can do.
They eventually decide she is too dangerous, which she knows to be true, having only wrestled in CZW. Not wanting to let her get away, though, they decide to have one of the best train her, almost starting from scratch.
Her trainer? Sami Zayn.
He not only helps her improve in the ring and helps her not hurt anyone, he also gains a friend in Jenna.
It doesn't take long for him to realize that Jenna has demons, and no matter how hard she tries to hide them or to keep them locked away, they always manage to show up at the most surprising times.
***
The line "I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim," is from the song Can You Feel My Heart by Bring Me the Horizon.
So, like I said, if you don't want to use Sami, you can use Cesaro. And, whoever you choose to use, basically helps Jenna confront her demons and helps her control them, because it's not good for them to be taking control of her life.
And, whoever you end up using, they are more than happy to train her. It's not one of those reluctant types of things; he's just happy to help.
(Please don't ask to use Dean Ambrose, because I feel like he has demons of his own. In this story, Sami/Cesaro doesn't have demons, and that's why he's willing to help her because he just wants to see her happy. She isn't meant to help Dean confront his demons, too. I feel like this has been written multiple times, so I decided to change it up a bit with Sami/Cesaro. So yeah. No Dean Ambrose.)
You can decide what her demon are, you can decide what form her demons take (are they memories? are they actual people who show up from time to time?) just as long as everything makes sense.
Okay, well let me know if you'd like to write this! :)
