Happy-Go-Lucky [Sami Zayn + Becky Lynch]
happy-go-lucky [adjective] : cheerfully unconcerned about the future
NXT Takeover: Unstoppable saw Becky Lynch's last NXT match, where she unsuccessfully challenged Sasha Banks for the NXT Women's Championship. Not only did she leave everything she had in the ring, but she gained the respect of thousands of fans.
The happy-go-lucky woman is brought up to the main roster with Sasha and Charlotte, starting the so-called "Divas Revolution."
From then until WrestleMania 32, Becky is on a high.
Then, suddenly, it stops.
Becky is no longer in the title picture, she's no longer on TV, and she's no longer getting storylines.
July comes, and Becky is still unhappy.
She is the first woman drafted to SmackDown, but even that doesn't cheer her up.
Meanwhile, Sami Zayn has been in NXT. After recovering from a serious injury, he returns, even participating in the Royal Rumble, and having a contender for Match of the Year against Shinsuke Nakamura.
He remains in NXT, where he is more than happy to help other people shine.
During the draft, it is promised that there will be six NXT picks.
The first is Finn Balor.
The second? None other than the heart and soul of NXT himself, quickly gaining a spot on the SmackDown roster.
Having been in NXT with Becky, Sami is used to the fiery-haired woman being punny, quirky, and happy-go-lucky. However, after his first main roster encounter with her, he realizes something is off.
Becky is burned out. With the women's roster cut in half, she is being pushed behind the new women from NXT, Alexa Bliss and Carmella, and the already established main roster women, Naomi and Natalya. Even Eva Marie is talked about more than her.
Her friends are on a different show, she isn't doing what she's wanted, and she's the only one of the Four Horsewomen to not hold a single title in the WWE.
Becky is considering leaving WWE, or wrestling altogether.
But not if Sami Zayn has something to say about it.

I was reading a story, and all Sami and Becky did was talk, and I suddenly shipped them. xD It wasn't even a Becky/Sami story.
In this, Sami doesn't come up to the main roster until the draft (he's drafted instead of Mojo Rawley + it's actually on TV). He doesn't have a WrestleMania match or a feud with Kevin Owens. He's in the Royal Rumble, though, as a surprise entrant.
I'm really happy with this idea, and I like the word happy-go-lucky. :)
If you'd like to write this, let me know! This is an idea that I'd love to see written so that I can read it. :)
