Charlotte is overexposed.

She's in her third reign as Raw Women's Champion and the crowd is tired of her.  Hell, even she's tired of her.

She knows her dad has some pull backstage, making him the reason she keeps being given the title over Sasha Banks.  But she can't say no to him, and she can't say no to her bosses.

Cesaro is underexposed.

After losing at Hell in a Cell, and breaking up with his tag team partner Sheamus, he has gone back into obscurity.

There are days where he wonders why he ever signed to the WWE.  He could be doing so much better in Ring of Honor, or literally any other indie promotion.

One night at a bar, the two have an encounter, and Charlotte knows what she has to do.

She approaches her dad, telling him to stop putting so much time into making her the greatest.  She wants him to toss around the idea of giving Cesaro a push, making sure to talk to the right people.

It's a slow process, but as Charlotte moves out of the spotlight and Cesaro makes it his new home, a friendship is formed.

This randomly came to me earlier today? I don't hate the idea of Cesaro/Charlotte.

Not required, but I was thinking that as Cesaro becomes a big Superstar and he starts getting chances, he lets it get to his head.  Like, he's finally where he's always wanted to be, and because of it, he thinks he's better than everyone else.  Charlotte can knock him down a peg or two.

If that doesn't fit into your plan for the story, then don't write it.  I just happened to think of it.
