Description: Han's is a young German man who recently moved to San Francisco, California. Here he faces discrimination and is bullied often. One day he is walking home from work when he sees an old man faced with troubles, and when he decides to help the old man out, he is surprised to see that he didn't face any racism from the man, no nazi remarks, no death threats, just a genuine thank you. 

When he realizes that when he helps people they don't see him for his nationality, they see him for who he is as person, and his life changes in the span of a few hours as he sees a recruitment center and with this newfound feeling of hope, he seeks to become someone people can look up to, a hero in some people's eyes, and he wants to be remembered not for his nationality, but for how he helped people. So, he joins the US Army and is deployed into the Pacific Theater of WW2. Where he finds someone that he did not expect to fall in love with.

(No, this is not Han's from "Han's & Her". But the story is loosely based off of Han's & Her.)
