Manipulative!Bakugo AU

Yep. You guessed it.

Bakugo has somehow managed to gain the trust of all of 1-A, plus some others and the teachers. Deku also has, but Bakugo's manipulation has overtaken Deku's friendships and hard work.

Today is a turning point within Deku.

During training, Bakugo grabs Deku by the hair and releases an explosion. Everything seemed to stop. Classmates are calling out to see if the two are okay, and only Bakugo responds.

Deku opens his mouth slightly, and whispers something incoherent.

"Kacchan, I-I can't... are you talking?.."

Bakugo freezes, realizing what he could have just done. Deku's eyes fall halfway, like he's given up. He swats Bakugo's hand always and stands to face him.

"Kacchan. You.. You are truly a monster.." he says, staring the ash blond dead in the eyes.

Bakugo's eyes brim with tears as he hears what the shorter said. What had he done? His hero career was so utterly fucked now.

Deku walked away to the nurse's office, leaving Bakugo standing as still as stone. He shed a few tears before the dams broke, and he collapsed to his knees.

Half an hour later, Bakugo tells the bakusquad what Deku said. Mina and Kaminari (who had to help Mr. Nezu during training) are shocked, but quickly turn angry. What gave Deku the right to be that mean to Bakugo? So not hero like.

So, they go to have a little 'chat' with Deku.

"Hey Midoryia!" Kaminari called, rushing up to the boy.

He didn't answer, instead kept walking. Kaminari and Mina only got angrier, the pinky grabbing Deku by the shoulder and spinning him around. He flinched at the touch, and looked genuinely scared when he looked at the other two.
