Been watching a lot of bootok compilations and I got an idea from one in particular.

Basically, the main character learns they're royalty from some far away land. They go on a long, tiresome adventure, they make friends, they have bad bitch moments, they defeat enemies, they have a romantic subplot, the whole thing.

The plot twist at the end? Well, you have two options.

They were never royalty, they find out while fighting the final boss. Nothing from the prophecy works for the main character, and the boss figures it out and tells their entire team about it.

OR

It was all a dream. A long, beautiful dream. When they wake up, it takes them a moment to remember. They are not royalty, nor does this far away land exist. There is no happy ending for them.
