Description / Summary: The main character will be an OC. The first chapter (If I were to write it) would be half from the OC's point of view, and half Sung Jin-Woo's point of view. The OC would describe how he got the power of the gamer, and why he is a hunter. He doesn't necessarily have to be near Sung Jin-Woo. As for Sung Jin-Woo's point of view, everything up till when he gets the power of the gamer will be the same, only when the game says 'Welcome Player' in the original, it will say 'Welcome Player 2'. His first 'quest' will be to find player 1, vice versa. The OC will be soft spoken, but not shy. He has shown signs of being bi-polar, as he is extremely nice and caring outside of battle, but sometimes ruthless in it. He does believe in second chances, so because of his caring nature, he lets the monsters go once unless they are trying to harm people in his company. He learned not to let the monsters go if they attack his comrades, as a result of many raids. If the monsters attack again, that's when he gets vicious. He has an innocent nature, despite killing many monsters. He is rumoured to be cursed, because of all the people that ends up being killed in close proximity with him. Now, no one wants to go on a raid with him nor wants to be friends, and quits immediately when he is on the team. He has signs of depression and anxiety, which only grow as time goes by. The OC has frequent panic attacks.He has only one family member, his father, and his father shows abusive qualities, making the OC's personality even more withdrawn. Sung Jin-Woo will be his first friend. If you take the love route for Sung Jin-Woo (I ship it hehehe-), the OC will be attracted to his brave personality. Sung Jin-Woo will be attracted to the meekness that he shows, as well as the silent rage the OC conjures up when fighting. Sung Jin-Woo will witness one of the OC's panic attacks, and suicidal attempts, and will stop the OC. That's when they started having feelings for each other. Sung Jin-Woo and the OC will both have the soul of the Shadow Monarch. The should will be split into half, and they will each have one half. This will partially be the reason why they were so drawn together. Unlike Sung Jin-Woo, who relies on his Shadow army (which will be accessible to both the OC and Sung Jin-Woo, like if one person gets a shadow, the other person can use it too), the OC often forgets that he has them, and relies on himself, and only himself. Sung Jin-Woo and the OC will be in a permanent party, with the game ability as well as in a guild. Most of the gamer ability will be shared, like the sharing of shadows, the sharing of penalties and the sharing of quests and rewards including EXP. There will be 2 of each reward though as well as double the EXP, so that they both have the same amount. The progress as in who is stronger, the OC will be stronger than Sung Jin-Woo, but no one knows by how much, as the OC is too kind to spar till the point of injuries. As the creator of this idea, Sung Jin-Woo as well as the shadow's strength verses the OC by himself will be equal. But seeing as the OC can also use the shadows, Sung Jin-Woo is outclassed. If one shadow is being used, the other cannot use it, but seeing as the OC doesn't use the shadow ability much, that's not much of a problem. If you decide to go for Cha Hae-In's love route, your first encounter will be in the A rank dungeon that Sung Jin-Woo went to be a miner at. You will replace him for most of the actions that make Cha Hae-In fall in love with Sung Jin-Woo in the original, like the OC having a good smell, saving her from Beru before he was turned, as well as healing her after the Beru incident using Min Byeong-gu's shadow. The boss fights will only be one on one. Having both Sung Jin-Woo and the OC together will diminish each other's strength to only half of each. You could create more bosses, or make it so that there is a king of a dungeon, as well as a queen, with double the minions. The Ant arc will have Beru and also another more powerful ant that the OC will fight. The OC will also travel back in time with Sung Jin-Woo. If you go with the Sung Jin-Woo route, the OC will either adopt a baby, then raise him or her, not have a kid, or use magic and mana to find a way to produce one of there own (that will have to be in another book though, like, the things they find and everything) but if you go the Cha Hae-In route, you will produce a child. Either route will not give the baby the Gamer power. He or she will not get the gamer power. (2 people having it is enough) I personally ship the OC with Sung Jin-Woo, but it's your decision, not mine.
