Forming the Connection
Kanan watched Ezra's behavior closely for a while. He had no idea where to even begin with teaching him. He barely even knew him. Unlike his master Kanan didn't have years temple records on his student's progress to look up. He was starting from scratch with Ezra, and frankly he didn't know how to do that.
"You know a getting to know him is probably a good place to start Love." Hera suggested watching him observe the young boy.

This idea developed as I am an Education major. I am actually learning how to teach and doing a lot of observing. My professors are asking me to show what I have learned and this was one way I was approaching the assignment. This is meant to cover things I'm learning from these classes. To be honest you can compare Kanan to a first year kindergartner or PK teach on the first day of school.
