In early season one Ezra is injured badly during a mission. The crew is split up and Sabine is the closest to him. Kanan senses that something is wrong and starts running to the two teens. Meanwhile Sabine is trying to help Ezra but doesn't notice the pebbles floating around them. (Similar to when he summons mama fyrnok) she calls for help and manages to get him to the Ghost.
Hera and Kanan meet them in the med bay. Kanan sees small items in the room floating just inches above their spot and realizes what is going on. He sits down and pulls Ezra onto his lap and holds his head against his chest. He senses that Ezra is in a healing trance and tells the others he will be fine, but won't wake up until he's completely healed. Zeb then helps him get Ezra in the bed. Kanan almost never leaves Ezra's side. Kanan does admit that a bacta tank would spend up the process, but they can't risk or afford it.
After a certain amount of time (I'll let you decide how long) Ezra wakes up. He ask Kanan how long he was out this time. Kanan tells him but ask what he means by this time. Ezra explains that he would sometimes get hurt when he lived on the streets and would be unconscious for weeks. He explains that a few friends of his would come check on him and take care of him until he woke up. Kanan ask for names to thank them however Ezra says he won't find any of them. When he ask why the boy say that they are either dead or no longer living on Lothal. (I suggest some of the characters from Ezra's gamble. Maybe the Catapillar guy finally became a butterfly 🦋 and went home instead of making himself sick)
A few days have passed and Kanan teaches Ezra about different types of force trances: visions, healing, and deep meditation.
