Zeb and Sabine found out about
Kanan because he accidentally slipped in front of them once doing something mundane like cooking breakfast. The force was just kinda leaking out of him prior to meeting Ezra.
When Ezra first joined but before Kanan started officially training him Kanan would do completely random but everyday things with the force to show the kid what he should be able to do. Once Ezra asked for a cookie 🍪 and Kanan actually used the force to give it to him. Another time he just started juggling 🤹‍♂️ dishes without touching them while washing them. Hera got mad when some of them broke as someone (Chopper) broke his concentration and he dropped them. At some point they even cleaned an entire room with the force together because why not. As Ezra got farther along in his training this trivial use of the force became less frequent. Ezra now gets in trouble frequently for misusing the force to do chores or help Sabine paint high places.
No ladders were used when painting the TIE fighter.

Oh as Ezra grows up he takes on Kanan's option on war. He doesn't want to be involved in another. It's not that he doesn't care he just doesn't see the world as black and white anymore. Good and evil are just a labels to tell you what side someone is on. It perfectly ok to be in between. He may have also taken on a few of Ahsoka's options.
