Summary - (During X8 and before Kiana's revealed) When Lumine is suddenly kidnapped by Vile, Signas quickly calls in a group of Valkyries to help them as it turns out the Mavericks were infused with Honkai.

Otto has send in his best Valkyries to help the hunters out with their Honkai problem, however there's more to this whole mess than they think.

A/N -I decide to do a retelling of X8 rather than an original story because I'm a lazy butthole, and I don't need to think of new maverick names.

The idea was suggested by dcraus123 and I wasn't sure if I want it to take place a bit before X8, or after. In the end, I said fuck it and just do an retelling of X8. The plot remains somewhat the same except the dialogue is different, the Mavericks have Honkai implanted inside of them, and a different ending to make sure it doesn't become predictable.
