Withdrawal
Toby leaned on the countertop, his eyes transfixed on the stream of coffee that was slowly filling up his cup. He sighed softly, his mouth guard hanging on his neck to reveal his slightly ruined mouth. Soon the coffee machine beeped, saying that it was done with it's job, thus allowing Toby to grab a hold of the rather warm cup- drinking the hot liquid, letting it slide down his throat.
He sighed again, walking away from the coffee machine and over to the table where he pulled out a chair allowing him to take a seat.
He stared at the wooden table, his eyes not leaving the designs that ran through it as troublesome thoughts ran through his mind. The thoughts painted his mind with red, a sickly grey and purple. Red for him to believe that danger is fast approaching especially in his love life, the grey to show just how worried he was and purple for how clueless he was.
Something's up with Clocky. He just knows it, he could tell. There's been something up with her for a while and he still has yet to pin point what exactly it was and why she was feeling like that. He couldn't help but think that she may be breaking up with him soon. The two of them haven't been spending that much time together, something that made him wonder if that was the reason. If it was then he was going to make sure he spends every single moment with her. Every second, every minute, every hour, everyday. All the time.
But not when he has to go to the toilet.... Or have proxy duties, or when he has to shower or when she's showering, or when they're sleeping... or when...
He slammed his head on the table, groaning.
Being in a relationship is hard.
He continued to be in that position for a little bit, his hand still wrapped around his cup of coffee as the door opened- signaling that someone was coming in. But Toby refused to lift his head up to see who had entered, he was too busy thinking of his own problems and issues.
The person stumbled in, crashing into the various pieces of furniture that was laid out. Some chairs clattered to the floor, the hanging cooking equipment crashed and clang against one another as the person reached the tap- turning the faucet on. Splashing of water was heard- being somewhat peaceful, however it was quickly changed as something smashed- Toby instantly sitting upright to see what the ruckus was all about.
He glanced behind him, seeing a mass of brown hair and the back of a yellow jacket. It was just these features that made him know it was Masky causing all of the noise and disturbance. He looked back ahead of him.
"Masky can you shut up please? I'm facing a terrible dilemma!" Said Toby rather dramatically as he leaned back in his chair.
Without a response from his rival the boy continued, still acting rather dramatic but whether it was on purpose or not that remained to be unknown.
"Clocky's going to break up with me!" He wailed, "she doesn't love me anymore and I don't know why!"
But no snappy remark met the boy's complaints, something that confused him a bit. He brushed it off though, believing that it was just Masky trying to ignore him. Heh, let's see how he can break that.
"What am I gonna dooooooooo?!" He whined, slamming his head on the table- a bit of coffee spilling out staining the wood.
Still no reaction, so now slightly more peeved the boy lifted his head up from the table throwing a glance to behind him to see Masky gripping onto the counter- his body shaking. Toby quirked an eyebrow, questioning the action. Is this Masky trying to hide his annoyance? If so then this is something new. Never has the masked man shook to keep himself tamed, maybe Slendy was close by.
Toby opened his mouth about to say something but he quickly shut it when a glass sailed over his head- hitting the wall and shattering upon impact. His eyes widen behind his orange tinted goggles, as the thought that it could have hit him in the face instead entered his mind.
Then, Masky whipped around, his eyes blazing with anger and his body shaking even more. He lunged for Toby, the poor waffle-loving proxy falling out of his seat in utter surprise. He scrambled back, trying to avoid being hit by his rival. He didn't think that him complaining about his love life would be that bad!
"Whoa Masky! Calm down!" He yelped, dodging another attack. He picked himself up- looking over at Masky shock still on his face.
"Leave him alone!" He shrieked, his fist colliding into the wall that was beside Toby's face. Toby gulped slightly scared.
"Masky, dude. C'mon. Just take in a deep breath- no one's in pain." Toby said slowly, risking a step away from the more muscular man.
"Adam!" yelled out Masky, desperation clinging onto his words as he made another lunge. Toby looked slightly confused at that but his confusion quickly diminished into worry as he managed to dodge another attack.
Not wanting to stay here a moment longer, the boy turned and bolted out of the kitchen- the sound of footsteps following him.
"Help!" Shouted Toby, fearing for his life as more stuff was chucked around, "someone! Help meh! Masky's gone loco coco!"
He continued to run, knowing well that Masky was basically biting his heels at this very moment. The scenery around him began to become irrelevant, the idea of saving his skin doing well to take up his attention- that is until he saw a familiar face.
Toby backtracked a bit, his hands instantly latching themselves onto Ben's shoulders, surprising the Heylian.
"Ben! You gotta help me!" Shouted Toby looking so incredibly freaked out that Ben stared back in confusion.
"With what?" He queried, quirking an eyebrow.
Before Toby could even answer, he was tackled the ground thanks to Masky. Ben just looked on, blinking in surprise at that.
"Masky! Masky! It's me! Your amazing friend! Toby!" Yelled out Toby, putting his hands in front of his face to protect himself. "Don't kill me!"
"Don't you dare hurt Adam!" Seethed Masky, about to punch Toby yet again however his arm was stopped by someone. And when Masky turned around he then knew that Hoodie was the one that interrupted his attack. But that wasn't what he was seeing in his eyes, and this was quite obvious for he was beginning to make an attack on Hoodie just as a needle jabbed his neck, knocking him out.
Toby squealed a bit as the heavier man fell right on top of him, no one did anything about it though. EJ just calmly took out the needle and rubbed the point, Hoodie looking at the back of Masky as Ben continued to stand there, confused.
"The eff happened?" Demanded the elven boy.
"Masky... Hasn't been having his pills for a while." Admitted Hoodie, sounding quite ashamed by that.
"He nearly killed me!" Pointed out Toby, being more dramatic than necessary.
Hood gulped slightly and looked down at the floor, "I- I didn't manage to find his pills. All the pharmacies seem to have stopped giving them out."
"There should still be some around somewhere." Commented EJ, pocketing the needle. He looked up, his gaze sweeping the entire area before landing on Ben. "Hey Ben?"
"What?"
"Think you can locate us the place that makes Masky's pills?"
The boy narrowed his eyes and pursed his lips, folding his arms as he put his weight on one leg.
"What's in it for me?"
"Well... We won't have a murderous Masky on the loose, and I won't die." Said Toby, pointing out once more how he got victimized.
"Not enough." Replied Ben, brushing it off.
"All you have to do is find us the factory- easy as pie. If you don't contribute then we'll just burn your games." EJ casually threatened, Hoodie seeming to like that threat. Ben just gulped and nodded his head not wanting his prize possession to turn into ashes.
"Uh.... So the name of that drug."
Hoodie walked over to green claded video game character, leading him off to somewhere, "don't worry I'll help you with this," he said.
"Who's going to help meee?" Whined Toby, the heavy form of Masky still on top of him. EJ just sighed, taking pity on the guy as he shoved Masky off freeing the more lean proxy.

This chapter is dedicated to a friend of mine who hasn't been feeling all that great. I just hope you feel alright soon! :)
A rather awkward ending here but that can't be helped. Also, sorry if nothing interesting is happening yet. It'll pick up slightly in four or five chapters later.
Have a great day! ^-^
Also... What have your thoughts been on the OCs that have popped up so far?
