The Proxy's Confession

"Into the woods the time is now! We have to leave i don't care how! Into the woods to journeys end!"

Hoodie watched as LJ and Neon skipped off to the right path of the fork they were presented with, the leaves covering the dirt trail being kicked up as they continued on. EJ looked rather annoyed with being put with the two hyper characters whereas Ben, Cyn and Jeff all had a neutral expression on their faces. As if they didn't care about having to put up with one another's company. But Hoodie cared. He cared a lot. Maybe now he could finally confessed his feelings to Masky.

Or, maybe he would shy away from the task and keep his feelings under wraps likes he's done in past occasions.

No, he thought- sternly to himself. I'll tell him, he has the right to know.

He looked up at the white material that constructed Masky's mask, anxiety swirling in his stomach. Would he return his feelings? Or would Hoodie be brutally rejected and neglected? He so desperately wanted Masky to like him back and he so desperately hope that he wasn't going to be pushed away if Masky was to not return his feelings.

"Are you alright?"

Hoodie jumped slightly at being addressed, not expecting the masked man to say anything.

"Uh yeah... I'm alright." He said softly, now starting to see glimmers of light from the town they were heading too. "Just... thinking."

"Thinking about what?"

"Oh, j- just stuff..." Stammered Hoodie, a faint blush settling itself on his cheeks. Masky stopped walking and looked at him- wanting him to go on.

"What sort of stuff?"

He shifted uncomfortably, not wanting to tell him now, it wasn't the perfect time yet.

"I'll... tell you later." Decided Hoodie. Masky nodded and together the two of them continued onwards to the town, killing a total of five households.

For an activity that should be fun and easy going Hoodie still couldn't help but feel worried and pressured. The idea of confessing to Masky was starting to weigh heavily in his mind, filling his heart with dread. Soon he just couldn't stand the idea of it any longer. He had to say something, if he didn't he feared that he'll go mad.

They were just exiting out of the back from one of the houses. Blood staining Hoodie's hood while a splatter of blood decorated Masky's mask. The scenery they were presented with was rather beautiful - bushes of flowers dotted the garden feeling the air with their scent. Smells of lavender, roses and pine intertwined with one another. Hoodie loved the smell of pine, it reminded him of Masky- strong and tall as well as one with nature.

He looked at him now, fully aware of just how much he loves him and how he wanted him to know that. Now having enough courage, Hoodie took in a deep breath; ready to confess his attraction.

"Masky?" He said, his voice gentle, his heart thudding hard against his chest.

The man in question turned to face him, a questioning look in his eyes.

"I have.... I have something to tell you." Admitted Hoodie, now looking down, trying to hide his embarrassment.

There was a slight pause before Masky spoke, "go on..."

"Well we've been friends for a while...." Started Hoodie, avoiding eye contact, "and well I- I've... I- I- I've started to developed..." His voice faltered in that moment, his fear outweighing his conviction in this moment.  He bit his lip, crimson painting his face.

"What... What are you trying to say Hoodie?"

He gulped, closing his eyes thanks to him having to repeat himself, "I uh..." He let out a breath, "I have a crush on you Masky." He squeaked out.

None of them said anything for a while.

A wind blew by, gently rustling the fallen leaves. Hoodie's heart was thumping loudly in his chest, absolute fear keeping him paralyzed but soon that was replaced by a warm feeling as he felt a pair of lips against his. Hoodie's eyebrows shot up in shock, feeling absolutely stunned and dumbfounded with what was happening.

"I know." Said Masky, drawing away.

"Wait what?"

He smiled, "Hoodie I've known you for years. I knew you liked me before you even told me."

Hoodie's face went even redder if that was possible, rather embarrassed with knowing that fact. Masky just chuckled and pecked his cheek, the two of them then deciding to head to a different town for the killing spree.
