The Broken TV

"URGH!" Groaned Jeff, pressing his palms over his eyes, "I hate it when they do that! Fuck me!"

"I don't think any of us would want to do that." Said Cyn as she rubbed her eyes, the light having blinded her momentarily. .

EJ groaned as he got up, rubbing the back of his neck, "well it is your fault that you got rid of your eyelids."

"Shut up EJ." Groaned Jeff, as he removed his palms. Another groan escaped from him, "I can't see shit!"

"Oh no, what a shame." Replied Ben, sarcasm woven through his words.

"It is!"

A yelp was heard making everyone turn around to see the cupboard door open and Neon's crumpled heap on the floor.

"So... What did I missed?" She asked with a weak laugh. EJ shook his head and walked over to her, helping her up.

The living room was trashed, the windows were broken letting in the cool evening air, the couches were torn and tipped over on their sides, letting their insides to be spilled out on the ruined wooden floor. Goo and ink scattered the area, some of it on the ceiling being the reason behind why bits and pieces of it were raining down.

EJ helped Neon out a little, handing her some sort of pill in hopes for her wound not to effect her anymore. He then went over to Jeff, tying some bandage over his eyes to help sooth them.

"If you guys even try to ditch me I will not hesitate to kill every single one of you." Jeff threatened, his mouth turned into a scowl. EJ rolled his eyes at the murderer's threat.

"Relax, that's not going to happen. In fact I'm going to be the one leading you."

"You better be." Said Jeff gruffly, EJ shook his head at him- grabbing a hold of his arm so that he could lead him outside.

LJ just walked as the two disappeared, disappointment on his clown face, "awww are we really leaving?"

Masky nodded after glancing down at his watch to look at the time. It was getting close to their 'curfew' and if they don't get home soon then they would have hell to pay.

"May as well. We don't have much time." Said Masky, explaining the issue to them. Neon threw her head back to let out an obnoxious groan for she absolutely despised the idea.

"Can't we just stay out for a little longer?"

Cyn decided to answer that question for her as she made her own way to the door, "no."

"Why not? You and I can go have some fun! Maybe it'll loosen you up? Ooh we could get some drinks too! That could work!" Neon was now getting excited at the idea, it was rather obvious as her movements began to appear more energetic.

LJ laughed at Neon's proposal, everyone now following Jeff and EJ who were leading the way home. The stars above them appeared to be much more fainter then they were when they arrived, possibly because dawn was fast approaching- as if eager to reveal the urban legends that were our killers.

"I would most definitely pay to see Cyn drunk!" Laughed LJ, finding amusement in the idea of it.

At the sound of that Cyn turned to face LJ, with a deadpan expression on her face, "and I would pay to see your head on a spike."

"Awww Cyn, you don't mean that! You know you love me!"

"Well... there isn't much to love."  She shrugged and continued the journey ahead, taking longer strides to separate herself from the group.

"Such a cruel woman." Said LJ, mocking hurt as he placed a hand over his forehead, "why must she make my heart bleed?"

"Since when do you have a heart?" Demanded Ben who was now focused on a DS that he had brought with him to save him from moments of boredom.

"Aww Ben don't be mean to me too!"

Neon giggled at the exchange that was happening between LJ and the rest of the creepypastas. A smile brightening her face as she skipped along, making several remarks here and there. Arguments were started, jokes were created and discussions were made making it hard for the band of creepypastas to appear what they truly are. It's when moments like this happen that the group of people, the group of people with countless problems appears to be just a bunch of teenagers having a good time.

But like a life good times have their end. And Jeff, Cyn and Ben happened to meet the end sooner then the rest of them. Why? Well because of a very simple and incredibly stupid mistake.

The eight of them had finally reached back to the mansion, some of them tired, some of them hungry and some of them annoyed. So wanting to satisfy their wants they both went in their different directions, the group now separated.

Masky, LJ, EJ and Neon went over to the kitchen to grab something to eat where as Hoodie decided to retire to his room while Ben went to fetch something from his room leaving both Cyn and Jeff in the living room, unattended. This wasn't really the best idea considering what followed as soon as everyone left.

The half blind girl was moving past Jeff, who still had the bandages on his face, when he decided to whip around and push her for he thought someone was sneaking up to attack him. Cyn- not expecting the harsh shoved, stumbled back, her hands reaching out to grab onto the sleeve of Jeff's hoodie so that he was brought down as well. She wanted to break her fall slightly or to stop the action, the reason for why she turned mid fall to put Jeff below her. However both of them manage to hit the ground, alongside knocking the TV back causing a rucket.

"The fuck happened?" Called out Jeff, picking himself up and ripping off the bandages, "uh hell!" He shouted in exclamation for the bright light.

Cyn had hastily picked herself up in order to look at the damage that was caused. Her mouth dropped open, her eyes widening in disbelief for what she was seeing. A massive crack was running through the screen, smoke rising up from it- not being a very good sign.

"What happened?" Cyn turned around to see EJ, Masky, LJ and Neon running in. Their eyes wide and seemed to ask the same question of what had happened. However they got their answer once they saw the TV.

"Well..." Said Cyn slowly, glancing at the TV, "Jeff broke it."

"What do you mean I broke it? You did!"

"I didn't do anything! I was just walking past and you pushed me!"

"Which means you broke it!"

"Not entirely, you-"

"That still means you broke it!"

"No it doesn't! Now let me finish-"

"You broke it, admit it! Why are you always putting the blame on me, slut?"

"Slut? Slut? Did you really just call me a slut?"

"So what? Got a problem with it, whore?"

"You are a bloody idiot, and yes I do have a problem with you calling me things that are not in the slightest bit true."

Neon slowly moved her head to the side, watching in amusement as they continued to fight, "do they do this a lot?"

EJ sighed, not sounding please with the duo's behaviour, "all the time."

"Hahaha just wait until Ben comes down and sees the damage!" Laughed LJ, looking incredibly happy with what's going on, "it will be greatest thing you'll ever lay your eyes on!"

And just as he said those words the blonde haired boy was making his way downstairs, looking over at a game he had retrieved.

"I'm leaving." Announced Masky, "I'm not going to be here for the fireworks."

EJ, Neon and LJ stayed where they were, a slight distance away so that they wouldn't come in between the three.

Both Cyn and Jeff had noticed Ben walking into the room, making the two of them stand closely together as if to hide the wreckage of the TV. Still focused on the blurb of the game he had, Ben manage to walk right into the chest of Jeff causing himto look up in puzzlement. Something he soon regretted as Jeff beamed at the gamer.

"Uh..." Ben slowly took a step back, his face showing confusion and suspicion for he only ever knew Jeff as grouchy and one to never smile.

"Hey Ben!" Said Jeff a bit too enthusiastically, "have I ever told you that you look good in green?"

Ben's confusion grew even more, not understanding what exactly was going on, "no.... You've  never said that."

"Oh. You look good in green then."

Ben's eyes shifted from Jeff to Cyn, Jeff still having an expression that was way too happy on his face meanwhile Cyn's mouth was set in a straight line as if to remove every ounce of emotion from her features.

"What did you guys do...?"

"Nothing." The two answered simultaneously.

"Then why are you standing there...?"

"Uh..." Jeff was about to say something, searching in his mind for a lie to come up with so that the true reason doesn't get known. Figuring out that he was having difficulties, Cyn quickly filled in the gap with the first thing she thought of.

"Slendy wanted us to do something." She explained.

"Yeah, he needed us to dismantle the TV."

At the sound of that Ben's eyes widen to the size of saucers, a look of utter dismay taking over his features, "What?!" He exclaimed, shocked.

"What Jeff means to say is that... Slendy wanted us to-"

"To bake!"

Cyn slowly buried her head into her hands, the stupidity of the lie making the urge to kill the man beside her stronger. Neon let out a giggle whilst LJ let out a booming laugh, loving  the free entertainment that was being provided. EJ just shook his head, disappointed.

"What?" Ben was still evidently confused.

Cyn lifted up her head, crossing her arms as her annoyance took control over the words that she was saying, "yup! Slendy wanted us to bake that's why we're standing right in front of the bloody TV screen, we're making a fucking cooking show and we're going to bake fucking chocolate cake."

The sarcasm that coated her words were as clear as day.

"Again, what?" Said Ben, still so confused, "can the two of you say something that makes sense?"

"They broke the TV!" Called out LJ, Neon giggling even more.

"They what?!"

"I would like to think that 'broke' isn't exactly the correct term." Said Cyn slowly, shifting her eyes away from Ben and to some unknown place.

Jeff shifted nervously beside her, wanting to make the situation slightly better in hopes of having Ben to laugh it off, "it's more... Injured?"

"Move." Commanded Ben, wanting to see the true damage. With slight reluctancy the two moved aside from one another giving Ben the chance to see what he considered to be his second wife. He stared at the wreckage, his eye twitching in annoyance and anger. But despite those being his main emotions a smile managed to creep it's way onto his face, laughter spilling from his lips.

"You shouldn't have done that." He whispered. He whipped around to see Jeff bolting away with Cyn already gone.

With a target in sight Ben sprinted, moving as fast as he ever done in his whole life which amused the three spectators even more. Neon was laughing so hard that she was on the ground whilst LJ was holding onto EJ for support.

Jeff tried to move as quickly as he could, wanting to escape the Link's wrath, sadly that remained to be an impossible task thanks to something latching itself around his legs and causing Jeff to fall yet again. But Jeff refused to let that stop him. Now supporting himself with his elbows he began to crawl with Ben still on his back.

"Slendy!" Shouted out Ben, so badly wanting to see the two get in trouble. Jeff meanwhile had a completely different desire and that was to not get in trouble with the faceless man, again.

"Aw c'mon Ben!" Said Jeff, still crawling as he was determined to escape, "we're best friends right? You wouldn't want your best friend to get in trouble now would you?"

"If my best friend didn't break the TV then yeah." Ben replied, anger clear in his tone.

"Hey, I didn't break the TV. Cyn did."

"Slendy!!"

"Ben-" But whatever argument the killer had was forgotten as the tall looming figure of Slenderman appeared right before them, hands crossed and a rather stern aura floating around him.

"What is it child?"

"Cyn and Jeff broke the TV." Told Ben.

The older being face palmed, letting out a steady stream of air in order to calm himself. He wasn't surprise of this occurrence but just because he wasn't surprise of it doesn't mean that he wasn't annoyed with it.

His tentacles sprouted out from his back, one of them lifting up Jeff from the foot whilst the other went to grab Cyn who was further down the hallway.

"Should I ask why such an event happen?" Muttered Slendy.

The two of them stayed silent, none of them deciding to speak up for themselves. There wasn't any point in doing so anyways.

Sighing again, Slendy continued, "for punishment I would like Jeff to clean up the whole entire mansion from top to bottom. Cynical, you'll be on eight pages duty. When your tasks are completed you will then get us a new TV. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir." They muttered, not happy with their punishment. They were released, the two of them crashing down onto the marble floor allowing them to emit groans of pain.
