They ran away from the lair for some time before stopping. The whole group was panting.
Snow hesitated for a moment when he saw all the snow blanketing the land.
"... so. This is what happened while I was locked up..."
The others knew better than to speak. With a wave of Snow's hand, the snow all disappeared, revealing the land below.
Almost as if the disappearance of the snow summoned them, the other Spirits came quickly.
"SNOW!" Wind squealed, hugging him tightly. He flinched, but managed a small smile and hugged back.
"Did I really worry ya that much?"
The others joined in. "Where were you?" Lightning demanded.
"Well, you wouldn't believe me if I told you." Snow muttered, rolling his eyes. "All you need to know is that they saved me." He pointed to the group of eight, which dipped their heads and fell on their knees — well, Doug didn't get on his knees due to being in wolf form, but he did crouch down — in respect.
"Rahasy did a good job in choosing you eight for the job." Thunder said with a small nod of recognition.
Ray, Trisha, and Billy flew back over and landed, going into their human forms. Rahasy came out from behind a hill, almost as if they were hiding there the whole time, waiting for the perfect moment to go over to join the group.
The group of eight looked at them. Doug gave a small bark at Rahasy, who looked at him and barked back.
"You all should probably go home now." Rain said quietly. "Your families must be worried."
Kasai and Sasha both hesitated for a moment. "But what about Uncle Hitze?" Kasai asked.
"And Alex!" Sasha added.
"You're gonna have to leave them behind for now." Sand said, though her eyes showed compassion. "I'm sure you'll be able to rescue them someday, though!"
The two girls nodded their heads, though secretly were upset.
"Thank you again for saving me." Snow muttered. "You have permission to go now."
The group nodded and immediately started going back to their home, guided to the exit by Rahasy, Ray, Trisha, and Billy.
