The group was together in the forest again, with their siblings this time. Fuego was hanging upside-down off of a tree, and Kasai was trying to get him down.
"Fuego! You're gonna fall off!" she complained.
"NO! No I won't!" he argued rebelliously.
"Fuegoooooo...."
He squawked angrily. Kasai groaned.
"Kasai, just leave him alone. He'll come down eventually." Cory muttered.
"Fine..." Kasai muttered. "But Fuego, if you fall and hurt yourself, don't say I didn't warn you!" She crossed her arms.
"Aye, aye, aye... hermana, you gotta stop worrying so much! I'll be fine!" Fuego protested.
"But Fueggooooooo!!!" Orchid howled, going over. "Kasai's riiiight! You're gonna faaaall!"
"No I won't!" he protested.
Lily and Tadpole watched the argument curiously.
"You think he'll ever come down?" Lily asked.
"Nah. He'll stay up there 'til he drops." Tadpole muttered.
"He can be stubborn as a minotaur at times." Streak muttered, flicking his tail. "He is a li'l cutie though."
"I'M NOT CUUUUTE!" Fuego screeched when he heard Streak's words. The whole group laughed.
"Are toooo!~" Valerie trilled. Orchid growled.
"He's MINE."
"Ooooooooh!" all the other kids said in unison.
"You liiike hiiim! I knew it!" Lily squealed, jumping excitedly.
Orchid blushed. "Wait, no..! That's not what I meant..."
Fuego blushed and averted his eyes from the others. Doug broke up the excited chatter.
"Enough."
Orchid looked at him and hugged him happily. He hugged back, managing a small smile.
Meanwhile, Flash was sitting alone with Zakk off to the side.
"..I really wish our siblings were still alive." Flash muttered with a sigh.
"Yeah..." Zakk agreed. "But there's no point wishing for the past." He looked away.
Katie jumped up towards them. "COME ON, you two! There's no time to mope around! At least try to have some fun!"
Zakk giggled a little. "Okay, okay. Just...give us a moment."
She giggled and sprang back towards the group.
The "party" was interrupted, however, by a rustle in the bushes.
Rahasy walked over in their human form.
"Rahasy!" the group exclaimed in unison. The younger siblings stared at them, confused.
"¿Usted los conoce? You know them?" Fuego asked. "Whoa-!" He finally fell from the tree.
Kasai caught him. "Yep. Rahasy's the one who called us to go look for Snow when he went missing." she explained, putting him back down.
"Ohhh."
"She's right." Rahasy muttered. "And this time, Lightning's gone missing."
The group immediately hesitated.
"So let me guess, there's gonna be a lightning storm now?" Flash muttered. "Great..."
Rahasy gave a quiet whine. "And that's why it's important that you find him. I'd suggest searching Nuclear's lair first, since that's where Snow was last time. The Spirits may have concluded that it's unlikely Lightning may be there, but better safe than sorry."
The group nodded. Orchid whined. "B...but doesn't that mean you'll have to go on another dangerous mission again and I won't see you for a while?"
Doug hugged his little sister. "Don't worry, sis. We'll be back home as soon as possible, I promise."
Orchid whined again, but snuggled into her brother. "Okie..."
The two of them eventually pulled away.
"AWWWWWWWW!" Katie cooed.
"You really care about your little sister." Sasha observed.
Doug gave a low growl. "... why wouldn't I?"
The group just giggled.
"I'd hate to interrupt, but we must get going. The sooner, the better." Rahasy muttered.
Kasai nodded. "Right. Let's go."
Rahasy ran off again, quickly followed by the group. The siblings waved as they watched them go.
"¡Adios y buena suerte! Goodbye and good luck!" Fuego called.
Kasai turned back around and gave a thumbs up to him before disappearing into the underbrush.
Rex sighed. "Well, guess we won't be seeing them for a while." He looked down.
"Well, at least we have each other." Valerie pointed out.
"Hey, I bet we'd make an awesome group too!" Fuego exclaimed. "We could pretend to go on our own adventures! ...nah, who am I kidding, that's una idea tonta. A dumb idea."
"I think it sounds cool!" Orchid barked, making the others snicker again. She glared at them. Fuego blushed again.
"Y..you think so?"
"Yeah!"
The others temporarily forgot about teasing and muttered their agreement. Fuego managed a small smile.
"Well, let's do it!" He pretended to raise a sword in the air.
The others giggled as they began their imaginary adventure.
