Chapter 100 Pain

Nagising ako nang maramdaman ko ang paguga ng kama.Napangiwi ako sa sakit ng maramdaman ko ang pagkirot ng ulo ko.Inaantok na minulat ko ang mga mata ko at bumungad sakin si Armielle titig na titig sa akin.

"Good morning."Bati niya.

I smiled a bit and greeted him back.Umupo ako sa kama habang sapo sapo ang ulo ko na kumikirot parin dahil sa ininom naming alam kagabi ni Argust.

Speaking of,did he perhaps took me in my bed when i was asleep??Nagiisip na sumandal ako sa headboard ng kama at hinayaan na maibsan ang sakit ng ulo ko.

"Kuya,what happened between you and Kuya Argust??"

Kumunot ang noo ko at nilingon si Armielle na inosenteng nagaantay ng sagot mula sa akin."Huh?Bakit mo naman natanong yan??"Nagtatakang tanong ko.

Armielle pouted a bit."I heard the Witch and Kuya Argust fighting before they left."Armielle stated.

Witch huh?This kid..

"Did they seem calm while fighting??"Tanong ko,baka kasi yung usual lang na away nung dalawa ang narinig niya.

"No,Kuya Argust was really mad and the Witch is really really mad too."Pagkukwento ni Armielle pinanlalakihan pa ako ng mata.

Nanatili ang tingin ko kay Armielle.Bakit naman kaya nagaaway ang dalawa?Didn't they reconciled already o mas lumala ang away nila??

Kinamot kamot ko ang ulo ko.

Nagusap namam na kaming dalawa ni Argust kagabi tungkol sa relasyon nila ni Tequila.I'm sure Argust is willing to reconcile with his girlfriend.

Maliban nalang kung may ginawa si Tequila para magalit si Argust.

I shooked my head.No,Tequila is a bit rude or mean pero hindi naman siguro siya ganun kalala para galitin si Argust.

After that ay hinayaan ko munang humilata sa kama ko si Armielle.I forgot that pupuntahan namin ngayon si Jao sa office niya.Armielle is already dressed and he's really excited kaya minadali ko narin ang pagligo.

I wore a navy black navy hat and a white oversized t-shirt.Pinatungan ko ito ng black jumper at white shoes adidas.I wore my spectacles and touched my moon pendant.

"Ohhh,you're so cute Kuya!!"Bulalas ni Armielle at tumakbo papalapit sa akin.Yumakap siya sa mga binti ko at ngumiti sa whole body mirror.

"You too."I answered and ruffled his soft wavy hair.He pouted and shooked his head agressively.

"Kuya Jao said i'm handsome!!"He shouted proudly and ran back to the bed.He jumped to the bed at naglaro sa psp niya.

Nagkibit balikaat nalang ako at kinuha ang phone ko sa itaas ng cabinet.I slidded the door open and turned to Armielle.

"Let's go."Aya ko sa kaniya.He squeeled in excitement at marahas na tumakbo papalapit sa akin.Aksidenteng nahagip niya ang isang picture na nakadisplay sa side table ng kama.

"S-sorry kuya."

Mabilis na lumapit ako sa picture frame na nabasag at nilinis muna ang mga bubog na nagkalat sa sahig.I touched our family picture nang magasgasan ang image.I placed the picture back to its place and pats Armielle's head.

"It's fine."I said and held his hand.Sabay kaming bumaba ng kwarto ko papunta ng living room.Luminga linga ako nang mapansin ang katahimikan ng bahay.

"Where's Mama??"I asked Armielle who's busy again with his PSP.Inilingan ko siya at tinanong ang isang kasambahay na nagpupunas ng glass table.

"May pinuntahan po kasama si Sir Arsius."The maid answered.Did Arsius already found something about Papa??

I slidded my phone out and typed a message for Mama.She didn't replied kaya pinagpaalaman ko nalang sa kaniya si Armielle sa through text message.

I drove my car with Armielle papunta sa company ni Jao.I glanced at the dim sky before checking the recent weather forecast for today.

"There's storm coming??"Tanong ko sa sarili ko matapos makinig sa balita.Muling tumingin ako sa makulimlim na kalangitan bago ako magpokus sa daan.

Minutes later,i parked my car and we entered the entrance hall of the building.My phone suddenly rang and i answered the phonecall.

Pinaupo ko muna si Armielle sa isang stall bago ko tuluyang sagutin ang tawag.It was a call from Argust.

"Yes??—"

"Ambrielle!!"Nilayo ko ang tenga ko sa ingay at kunot noong nilapit muli ito.Argust seem to a hurry."Ambrielle where are you??"Pinakalma niya ang sarili niya.

"Jao's Company together with Armielle."Sagot ko .

"What?!N-no,don't go.Don't go Ambrielle."Natatarantang sabi niya at naguguluhan kumunot ang noo ko.

"Huh?Why??"Nagtatakang tanong ko??

"J-just..fuck.Just don't go or...wait for me!Yes,wait for me Ambrielle."I can sense his nervousness and frustration through his voice.

He's acting really weird,what the hell happened to him?I've never talked to him like this before and i've known my brother for being cool and calm.

"Is there something wrong Argust??"Tanong ko at hindi naman siya nakasagot."Argust what's wrong??"Tanong ko ulit but he didn't answered.I waited for at least a minute for him to respond.

"What ever you see,it's not true Ambrielle.It's not true—"

My phone beeped and shut down.Bumuntong hininga ako.Right,i didn't got the chance charged it last night because i'm drunk.Nagiisip na umiling ako at binulsa na ang phone ko.

We then proceeded and took the elevator.Suddenly,Armielle wanted to take the restroom kaya sinamahan ko muna siya.Goodness,ilang hakbang nalang ang opisina ni Jao mula sa restroom eh.

Umupo muna ako sa mga upuan sa gilid ng hallway para hintayin ang kapatid ko.I tried opening my phone again but it didn't work.It's drained.

"Did you see that girl??"

"Yes,ang ganda niyaaa."

"Girlfriend siguro siya ng CEO."

"Yass,they look good together!"

Girlfriend??

Nilingon ko ang dalawang empleyado na naguusap at dinaanan ako.Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at nilapitan sila para magtanong.

CEO's girlfriend??Jao doesn't have a girlfriend,he has me.At dahil sa pagiisip at pagtataka ay nawala sa paningin ko ang dalawang babae.

I glanced at the door beside me and stood in front of it.This is it,this is Jao's office.I held the doorknod and twisted it to open door.

The door slowly and silently opened and my eyes widen in shock.

I dumbfoundedly stared at Jao's back sitting in the sofa.On top of him,there was a blonde haired girl ravishing his lips and carressing his broad shoulders.

It was Tequila...

My mouth hanged open.My hands started to tremble as the corner of my eyes started to heat.Uminit ang mga pisngi ko at unti unting bumigat ang paghinga ko.

The scene of Jao and Tequila kissing in front of me was devastating.It felt like my whole system stopped for a moment and functioned again improperly and in verge of breaking apart.

"W-what is..."I almost whispered and Jao quickly pushed Tequila away.Jao looked at me with shock and while Tequila just looked at me intently.

"A-ambrielle."Jao stuttered and fixed his necktie.Suddenly,his shock expression changed into a blank and a cold stare.

Unti unting bumaba ang tingin ko sa mga papel na nakakalat sa sahig.Nanginginig ang mga kamay kong tinakpan ang bibig ko sa gulat.

There were printed pictures scattered in the floor.Different pictures of topless Argust and me sleeping and hugging together.My heart sank when i saw one picture where Argust was kissing my forehead while hugging me.

Jao picked up the picture and looked at it with his dull eyes."Is this why you're brother don't like me??"He asked and looked at me.

"Because he has feeling for you??"

Kumabog ang dibdib ko sa tanong niya kasabay ng pag-kulog ng kalangitan.The rain started to pour harshly outside as the sky crumbles with it's roaring thunders.

"What ever you see,it's not true Ambrielle."

Argust's last word in the phonecall struck me like a lightning.Tumingin ako sa mga malalamig na tingin ni Jao at mabagal na umiling.

"It's not t-true."I whispered.The dumped tears in my eyes finally falls across my cheeks.I sniffed and shooked my head.

"Kuya??"Mabilis na pinunasan ko ang mga luha ko nang marinig ang boses ni Armielle.Tumalikod na ako at hinila na siya paalis sa lugar nayon.

"Ambrielle!!"Jao called out.Napapikit ako at binuhat na si Armielle bago ko takbuhin ang elevator.

Fortunately,nakahabol kami sa pagbukas ng elevator.I looked back at Jao who's running in the hallways.

He stopped and looked at me.Mapait na ngumiti ako sa kaniya bago tuluyang magsara ang elevator.Armielle was looking at me with his bothered and worried eyes.

I'm glad he didn't ask what happened while i'm driving my car.It was raining outside really hard and i can't focus properly on the driveway.Nanginginig parin ang mga kamay ko at ang katawan ko sa pagpipigil na umiyak.

Armielle walked out from the car and entered the house through our garage.I stayed inside the car and finally cried to my extent.

I was crying really hard that i had to cover my mouth to prevent myself from sobbing.

What did just happened??Why was Tequila kissing Jao??Bakit may mga ganong litrato kami ni Argust??Saan galing ang mga yon?

"Why did it turned out like this??"I asked myself and wipe the unstoppable flow of tears from my eyes.
