It was dawn when I woke up. When I looked at the sky it was cloudy and it was so cold out here. I was tired and I couldn't sleep. Every time I closed my eyes, I could see flashbacks from "that night". The destruction the king caused was horrifying. Then I took a decision, that I will not let it end like this. The story would end with me taking my revenge. But how could I have my revenge; I don't even know where he is.

I had never moved away from my village, ever. I knew nothing. It will be hard to get used to it. I closed my eyes to try to sleep for a little bit but at that moment I went back over to Simon's death. Immediately I re-closed my eyes and sat down. I took a deep breath but it wasn't easy to write off everything that had happened. Then my parents popped up on my mind, who I also had lost at that tragedy. I couldn't hold myself back from crying anymore. I started crying and the sky cried with me. I wiped the tears of my eyes off and looked up. It was raining. Yes, I know, I caused it to happen. I tried to calm myself so that it would stopped raining. Finally I did it. I didn't know how much time had passed but I knew it was a lot, though I still couldn't find land. In my attempt to find dry land Ι fell asleep from exhaustion.

"I'm scared" I said as I had noticed that I was at a dark room.

"Don't be scared" I heard a voice and then I saw my mother: "We are here." and slowly-slowly my friends and family appeared around my mother. I felt immensely happy. "I'm happy to see you all are alright." I said and then I runned at their direction. But at the half of my course a thought stopped me to look at them. "Come to us. Why aren't you coming my dear?" my mother said. "Because I saw you all die, how is it possible for you to be here?" I asked them. Immediately everyone disappeared. Then some stranger with royal clothes shows up. "No matter how far you run princess you will die, just like everyone in your village!" he said and then I realized who he was.

I started running to the opposite direction, but I couldn't run fast enough and he caught me by the hand while he was laughing viciously. I got shivers from his touch and his laugh scared me but from the other hand his face has really blurry but for some reason I though his face to be cute, without realising as to why. Then I fell down so that I could escape from him, looking at him with a terrified look. Then I opened my eyes from being horrified and I noticed that I was at dry land. I raised my head and my vision hasty turned to a boy that was standing above me and then I realised that it was just a nightmare and I finally arrived at some dry land.

"Thank god you are awake! I was so worried ." said the boy.

I flinched a bit and looked around me. At first my eyes were blinded by the sun and so I used my hands to cover my eyes from the sunlight. The I reacted logically in front of him:

"Who are you and where am I? What do you want from me?" I said to him after a few minutes of complete silence. I had learned after what happened to never trust anyone,every human is dangerous and they want to hurt me.

"Relax, you misunderstand. I had just found you here unconscious and I got worried. But now that you are awake everything is fine. I'm glad you didn't got hurt" he said and his words surprised me. How was is possible that he would treat me like a simple human. Perhaps he is doing that because he doesn't know where I am from. Let's not forget that all humans consider us special people monsters. Suddenly I got an idea and i took a decision. I will find all the special people in the world to make a new race and to continue to be a part of history. I was sure that this was the right to do.

I got up quickly, but I stopped to look at him while trying to avoid eye contact. "Thank you" I said blandly and then I turned around and started my way to the port. But this assertive guy who helped me or that has founded me at least in the beach had been following me for some reason.

I turned on a corner and waited 'till he turned to and when he saw me standing there he got scared and and flinched

"Did something happens and you're following me?" I asked him suspiciously and he looked up somewhat sad. I didn't pay attention and keeps going on my destination until his voice stopped me: "Wait".

I turned and looked at him. He sighed. "I just wanted to get to know you better. Who are you and from where are you coming from?"

When I heard that question I was surprised but I knew that if he learned who I really was and from where I had truly come from then that would worsen the situation and I didn't know how he would react so maybe I would get to the point where I would be dead by the hands of the person who saved me just some time ago. And so I answered with caution his question: " My name is Alex. You don't need to know my surname." I answered and turn around to leave but then he showed up in front of me again.

"Why are you hiding your origins? You don't have to be embarrassed. I don't judge anyone, we all are the same" he said and that made me laugh but then I got serious immediately.

"Sorry but my eyes have seen enough, so I can't really believe you" I said and I go passed him to be on my way. But then he showed up in front of me again and as a result I stopped.

"But how is it possible to already know the world and to have seen enough of it from such a young age?" he continues and I looked at him strangely.

" Look who's talking. And I'm not that young. I'm 17 years old." and he answered: "And I'm 18 years old and I haven't told you my name by the way. My name is Nestoras. Nice to meet you." he finished his sentence as he reached his hand.

I looked at him with a circumspectly look and raised my eyebrow flashil: " What do you want from me? Are you always this annoying?" I asked him. "I don't know, I just want us to get to know each other.

And I thought that since you are new here you would need someone to guide you through this place. Since you don't know where you would go to and as a result you would get lost in a town full of dangers." he said and I signed.

Unfortunately I knew he was right but I didn't know what was the best choice to make or take. So I looked at him in the eyes and said: " What do you want?", crossing my arms over my chest. "Nothing, I just want to help you." he smiled. " Then what do you want in return,hmmm?" I said while looking at him haughty. Because he must want something in return, it's common sense.

"Nothing, I just want us to become friends." he answered.

"You truly don't want anything else? I said while coming close to him.

"I truly don't want anything else!...I just want a friend." he said and I was surprised. Ιf only he knew who I was and where I came from. He would change his mind quickly, bet. But if I say the truth to him I will be in danger. Let's not forget, everyone thinks of me, of us as monsters. "Thank you but I cannot accept what you are saying. I really have to go." I said. Then I heard a loud noise just a little bit further from where we were. "Today's news are really important so gather around folks, listen carefully and pay attention!" Nestoras turns around and looks at me excited. "Come, lets go and see what the army has to announce to us civilians. Despite the fact that I don't really like soldiers to say the truth."

When I heard that he didn't really like the soldiers I was stunned. To say the truth that was something I didn't expect to happen, especially hearing it from someone who was a human. Then I put my hood on and turned to look at him with a determined look. "Come on, let's go hear them." And just like that I followed him because he knew the area better than me. "We have arrived." he said and I looked around the crowd that existed. We had come to a public square. There was a man who was standing at a lectern, who was neither wearing any military uniform nor any casual outfits like the ones the townsfolk were wearing. His clothing style was more formal and it looked like he was dispatched but the king.

Immedietaly I blended with the crowd to be sure that I wouldn't be caught by one of the soldiers who were nearby. Thus Nestoras had followed me inside the crowd. Then the lecturer started speaking. "We gathered here today knowing the achievements of our king-" then the crowd started cheering shouting: "Yes!' full of excitement as they had stopped the lecturer from continuing his speech, while this had filled me with disgust.

"Our good king has saved us for yet another time." he said once more and the crowd started cheering once again. "And when I say "saved" I mean he saved us from a very dangerous menace that we hadn't realised yet. The monsters of the island Alt,in other words islands "weird" people!!" he shouted.

When I had heard that I realised that I shouldn't have had come here. I got flashbacks from the battle. When I remembered once again the death of my best friend, dying in my arms I grabbed my chest to the area that my heart was and I felt like I was going to collapse.

Suddenly I felt like i got dizzy and went to sit down on the ground but thankfully Nestoras was there and he held me as he had guessed that something was off. Then he asked me whispering on my ear: "Are you alright?", I turned and answered to his logical question: I'm fine,alright?". But we both knew that the situation wasn't good and that I wasn't looking as alright as I wanted to...

"You know what's the unfortunate thing? Their princess had escaped. But don't worry! The king had sended an army to search her and eliminate her.". When I had heard that I wanted to run away, but they would have suspected me. I tried to not panic while my heart was beating fast. I took a deep breath and turned facing Nestoras: " Will you come with me or do you want to sit here?" The moment I finished my sentence he got a childish expression on his face and and answered with a whispering but close to shouting voice: "Yes!".

We tried to walk through the crowd. But there were to many and I almost had lost my eyes from Nestoras. But finally we thankfully did it and found each other after a while.

We took a deep breath and moved away. At some point he stopped walking and turned to look at me. I stopped to without knowing what he wanted, waiting to see what he wanted to do or say as I was preparing myself, just to be safe. And so these specific words came out of his mouth: "Can I ask you something?". To be honest I wanted to learn his question so much so I answered: "Yeah, of course,ask whatever you want.". I listened to him taking a deep breath and at the middle of taking his breath he had his eyes closed . Then after that he looked at me filled with willpower and asked: "How come you changed your mind and said to come with me?" Then I swallowed my spit. I didn't know how to answer to him and what was right to say...
