Friday Night Smackdown was happening as the crowd was excited to see what action awaits them. There is only one week left before the next pay-per-view happens and that is Backlash. The event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Right now the show began as pryo went off at the entrance ramp and the crowd erupted in cheers. Soon Daniel and Alex made their entrance as some of the audience were cheering for Dalton while the others were booing Ambrose.

Both of them had a chaotic last week when Daniel placed a bounty on Alex which resulted in chaos. Soon Ambrose managed to evade every attack and ambush. Eventually he pulled a trick up his sleeve and placed a bounty on Dalton. The Judgement Day got the bounty but Ambrose tricked them two times by giving them the first briefcase which was rigged with spray paint and the second briefcase being printed money.

Daniel and Alex entered the ring and looked at the crowd. Soon the entire Smackdown Roster made their way and stood by ringside as both of them began speaking.

Daniel: So next saturday, it's all about Backlash. Every championship and every rivalry will reach a climax. It's do or die for all titles and the outcomes here will change everything.

Alex: Or some rivalries might stretch beyond Backlash and continue towards the next show.

Daniel: Yeah. Since a lot of you have scores to settle. We decided to make a few decisions in these matches.

Alex: First match, Anne Winters and Trish Stratus are still not done with each other and they're ready to settle their heated rivalry once and for all at Backlash.

Daniel: And Anne even got some payback after she defeated Zoey at the Steel Cage match, last week.

Anne and Trish along with Zoey glared at each other as Ambrose continued speaking.

Alex: So I made a decision. Anne Winters and Trish Stratus will face each other in a last women standing match.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Anne had a sinister smile on her face when she heard the stipulation as Stratus and Zoey were shocked. The duo began shouting at the anarchist but Ambrose said something to them.

Alex: Oh, I forgot to mention, Zoey is banned from ringside.

Zoey was angry and shouted at Alex but he ignored her and continued speaking to the audience and roster.

Alex: So I had a talk with Dexter Lumis before the show began and he was angry when he saw Chris Johnson and didn't forget about what he did to him back in NXT.

Daniel: Yeah and he wanted to settle the score with him too.

Chris had a smirk on his face as Lumis was staring at Ambrose said something to them.

Alex: So you two will face each other in a falls count anywhere match.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Chris had a sadistic smile on his face while Dexter glared at him as he already accepted this stipulation.

Daniel: Now last week, Cora Jade and Roxxane Perez faced each other to see who will face Smackdown Women's Champion Anna Jay at Backlash. However the match ended in a double countout.

Cora and Roxxane glared at each other as Anna and Tay were smiling at them until Dalton said something to them.

Daniel: So we made a decision and Anna Jay will defend her championship against Cora Jade and Roxxane Perez in a triple threat match.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Anna smiled at the stipulation and nodded as Cora and Roxxane also agreed to the triple threat match as all three of them stared at each other and Dalton continued speaking.

Daniel: Logan wanted to face Roman for the championship however Solo still wants payback. So we made a decision. At Backlash, It will Logan Kenway vs Solo Sikoa and if Kenway wins, He will face Roman Reigns in the next pay-per-view.

The crowd erupted in cheer as Logan had a cocky smirk on his face while Solo stared at him and the Usos were taunting Kenway until Alex said something to them.

Alex: [Looks at Jimmy and Jey] You two are banned from ringside.

Jimmy and Jey were shocked and angry as Solo glared at Ambrose before staring at Logan as Daniel said something.

Daniel: So Chelsea Green has been yelling at us for weeks now-

Alex: That's why ear buds exist.

The crowd began laughing as Chelsea was shocked and shouted at the anarchist but Alex ignored her and Daniel who was laughing fixed his tie and said something.

Daniel: [Chuckles] Back to the main point. Chelsea and her partner Piper want a shot at the women's tag team championship and we decided that they will face Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the women's tag titles at Backlash.

Chelsea cheered in excitement as the crowd was booing her and Alex said something.

Alex: Moving on. Duncan's match against Logan Paul for the United States Championship is confirmed and-

Logan Paul: Hey! You can't-

Alex: Yes I can. I'll do whatever the f*** I want. So shut the f*** up or I'll crush your larynx.

Paul glared at Alex as Duncan had a smirk on his face and knew Logan was scared to face him at Backlash. However Paul said he has something to show Alex but he will show it to him at the office as he walked away and Daniel was wondering what it was.

Daniel: Okay, let's move on from that. Glad he's gone.

Alex: Anyways for the intercontinental championship match. Caleb, your okay if you like a challenge?

Caleb smiled at Alex and gave him a thumbs up as Ambrose continued speaking to him.

Alex: Well here ya go because at Backlash, you will be defending the title against Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Carmelo Hayes in a fatal four way match.

Bron, Bronson and Carmelo smiled at each other as Caleb smiled and nodded at the stipulation as the crowd was cheering for them and Daniel continued speaking.

Daniel: Next match. Last week, Jay White cut a promo that he wanted to face someone in WWE and he wants a good challenge. Well Jay, I have your challenger.

The crowd was interested in knowing who it was until Daniel said something.

Daniel: Jay White, You will be facing Nick Crosby at Backlash.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Nick has a small smile on his face and couldn't wait to face his opponent next Saturday.

Daniel: Alright onto our final match, For the Tag team titles. We decided that Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will defend the titles against Motor City Machine Guns at Backlash.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Johnny and Ciampa smiled and agreed to the match as they couldn't wait to face Motor City Machine Guns next Saturday.

The crowd was now excited for the pay-per-view and couldn't wait for Saturday as they continued cheering in excitement and Alex said something.

Alex: I almost forget, we added new weapons under the ring and those weapons will stay there for a very long time.

Daniel: And what are those weapons?

Alex said "Let's see" to Dalton before he pulled out a long list of weapons that are now permanently under the ring which shocked the crowd until Ambrose said something.

Alex: Okay, machetes, fire axes, chainsaw, circular saw, barbed wire baseball bats, barbed wire tables along with chairs, thumbtacks, nails, steel pipes, baseball bat with nails on it, glass panels, pizza cutter, katana and-

Daniel: Okay buddy, let's stop now.

Alex: I still have two more lists of weapons that are added under the ring.

Daniel stared at him in shock as the crowd was also shocked until Dalton said something.

Daniel: Woah okay then, how about keeping those weapons as a surprise? What do you think?

Alex looked at Daniel before he shrugged and said something to him.

Alex: Okay then.

Soon the promo was over and everyone went towards backstage as the matches began while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee gave their thoughts on the upcoming matches at Backlash and said its gonna be filled with chaos and brutality.

The show went on as it was almost coming to an end. Alex was at his office texting someone on his phone until Logan Paul entered the office and said something.

Logan: I got something to show you.

Alex didn't hear what Paul said and continued texting as Logan was annoyed and said something.

Logan: Hey! Did you hear what I said?

Once again, Alex ignored him and continued texting as Logan was furious until Ambrose removed the earbuds and got up as he noticed Paul and said something.

Alex: Where did you come from?

Logan was shocked and angry as he really wanted to attack him but Paul knew he will either be suspended or fired by the anarchist. He took a deep breath before Paul said something to him.

Logan: Look last week, I didn't sign that contract and-

Alex: Your signature was on that contract.

Logan: That's not my signature!

Alex narrowed his eyes and looked at him before he picked up the old contract that he forced Logan to sign last week as he stared at it before looking back at him and said something.

Alex: That's definitely your signature.

Logan: Listen you little b****. I spoke to my lawyer last week and he gave me this contract and this contract states that it wasn't my signature so therefore I will not defend my US championship at Backlash.

Logan shoved the contract on the anarchist as Ambrose glared at him before opening the contract and reading everything that was written before he signed the contract and Paul began laughing at him and said something.

Logan: [Laughs] Look who's laughing now?

Alex smiled at Paul and began laughing with Logan as Paul immediately stopped laughing and was confused. Why was Alex laughing with him? Ambrose couldn't stop laughing as he said something to Paul.

Alex: [Laughs] By the way, did you sign the contract, your lawyer gave you?

Logan: Yes I did! What's so funny about it?

Alex: [Laughs] Because page twelve made me laugh so hard.

Logan:. . . . . . . Wait, there's suppose to be eleven pages.

Alex continued laughing at him as Logan immediately opened the contract and went towards the twelfth page as he was reading it until his eyes were widen by what was written.

This match is still going to happen at the upcoming pay-per-view and Logan Paul is banned from using the brass knuckles in the match. If he does use it, he will be forced to relinquish the championship.

Logan: No! No! That's impossible!

Alex: Good luck, Paul. Your gonna need it.

Ambrose told security to escort Logan out of the office as he was furious and began shouting at the general manager elect but Ambrose waved at him before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and continued texting someone.
