Chapter I: The Return

It was the First Friday Night Smackdown after Wrestlemania and the crowd was full of energy and was excited to see what action awaits them. The show showed a promo which showed all the winners of Wrestlemania on both nights and now the show began with multiple fireworks as the crowd cheers electrified across the entire arena.

Michael Cole, Pat Mcafee and Corey Graves opened up the show by talking about all the events that have took place from the last few months and began talking about a special announcement that Triple H was gonna make on the first segment.

The crowd began cheering in excitement as Smackdown General Manager Daniel Dalton made his entrance as he smiled at the crowd while the crowd continued cheering for him and were singing the lyrics of his theme song.

Daniel was fixing his suit and continued walking down the ramp as he was shaking hands with the crowd and they continued cheering for him. Soon he got inside the ring and asked for a microphone as he got a mic and his theme stopped playing.

Daniel: Welcome to Smackdown everyone!

The crowd began cheering loudly for Daniel as he smiled at them before he continued speaking to them.

Daniel: What a Wrestlemania that was. But not gonna lie, the ending to the second night. [Hears the crowd booing] Yeah, I agree on that.

The second night to Wrestlemania was Cody Rhodes going against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However Solo interfered in the match which gave Reigns an opening and speared Rhodes to secure the victory which left a lot of fans disappointed.

Daniel: But hey, anything happens honestly. But aside from all that, you know what today is everyone?

The crowd began cheering and knew what it was about as Daniel said something.

Daniel: It's time for the announcement that everyone has been waiting for. Now all of you are probably wondering what it is and truth to be told, I'm curious too. But all of our questions are gonna be answered by one man and that is. . . . .

Loud cheers were heard through the arena as Hunter made his entrance and he fixed his suit before he continued walking down the ramp and got inside the ring as he heard the crowd singing his theme song.

Soon his music stopped playing and the crowd was cheering for Hunter and Daniel as Dalton gave another microphone to the game and he took the mic and nodded before he started speaking.

Hunter: Now I will get straight to the point. I know all of you has this one question in mind. What are we planning? Well I'm gonna tell you that answer.

The crowd was curious about what Hunter was gonna say as he said something to Daniel.

Hunter: Daniel. You've done a marvelous job as General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown. You've given this brand more opportunities and given everyone in the brand, the best dream matches that they wanted for so long.

Ever since Hunter took over the company. He has made partnerships with different promotions and wrestlers from different promotions can come to WWE to face a rival in a dream match or compete for championships while wrestlers from WWE do the same in other promotions.

Hunter: However Daniel, Me and the board had a meeting a few days ago and we came to a conclusion.

Daniel: And what might that be?

Hunter: We're assigning a General Manager Elect for Smackdown and he's gonna be by your side too. Helping you run the brand.

The crowd was shocked by what Hunter said as Daniel looked surprised and said something to him.

Daniel: You know, the last time there was a general manager elect back in 2018. He made the show unbearable to watch.

The crowd began booing and remembered what Corbin did as Constable and General Manager of RAW back in 2018.

Hunter: I'm know, Daniel. However the general manager elect of Smackdown is different. He's ruthless and instills fear into the hearts of his enemies. He's also perfect in keeping things under control.

The crowd was confused when Hunter said that and wondered who it was. However Daniel had this feeling he knew who Hunter was referring too.

Hunter: He's just a signed a contract with this company a few days and his name is. . . . .

The crowd were shocked by who it was and began booing heavily as Daniel had a smile on his face. The music continued to emit around the arean as the boos began to get even louder and louder as they saw who was standing in the entrance ramp.

His name is Alex Ambrose. They call him, The Hellwalker, The Doom Slayer and The Psychotic Villain of their story. He's known to leave destruction behind and everyone hates him for it.

However six years ago, during a ladder match at ROH. Alex fell off the ladder and landed on multiple tables along with thumbtacks, barbed wire steel chairs and a barricade. He suffered a neck injury and after that he disappeared and was never seen again.

Alex was fixing his hair as he was fixing the sleeves of his shirt and fixed his attire before he continued walking towards the ring.

Alex made it to the ring and his music stopped playing, however the crowd was still booing him and chanted "F*** you" to him as he looked at Hunter and Daniel.

Daniel: Alex Ambrose! It's been a long time buddy.

Alex narrowed his eyes and looked at him as Daniel smiled at him and wrapped one arm around him and said something.

Daniel: I think we're gonna get along just fine buddy.

Alex:. . . . . I'm not.

Daniel: Well like it or not. You and I are gonna be running things now.

Alex gritted his teeth in anger and was silent as Hunter said "Good luck" to both of them as he left the ring. Daniel was smiling at Alex as Ambrose was glaring at him before the show went to commercial break.

The show went on as Alex was at the office as he was gonna eat the last slice of pizza until Daniel took the slice which made the crowd laugh before Dalton said something to him.

Daniel: [Smiles] Thanks for that. I was hungry.

Alex glared at him and looked at Daniel as both of them were speaking to each other.

Daniel: You know, I enjoy troubling my enemies. Besides how can I forget about our last encounter?

The crowd was cheering and knew what he was talking about. Six years ago, Daniel and Alex were set to face each other for the ROH world championship, however a few days before the match, Ambrose broke Daniel's leg with a steel chair and the injury was so severe that Dalton was pulled out of the match and needed surgery which made him vacate the championship.

ROH management then made another match which was a ladders match for the world championship and that was the same match that got Alex injured.

Alex: Keep pissing me off and I'll gladly break your leg again.

Daniel: [Laughs] Both of us can't fight each other. Hunter made a rule and we two aren't suppose to fight. Otherwise you know the consequences.

Alex stared at him until both of them heard the door opening as they saw Charlotte holding her women's championship and said something to them.

Charlotte: Well well, looks like you two aren't getting along.

Daniel: Well he's the one that doesn't want to be friends. Oh, I have an idea, if i get you pizza, can we be best friends?

Alex looked at him and got annoyed as Daniel was holding his laughter before Charlotte said something to them.

Charlotte: If you two are done fighting second place at who's the greatest moron of Smackdown. Can you give the Queen more screen time?

Daniel: Well then-

Alex: Your gonna defend your championship against Anna Jay right now.

Charlotte was shocked by what Alex said as Daniel stared at him and she said something.

Charlotte: You can't-

Alex: I think your match is up. Better get going, Flair.

Charlotte glared at him and looked at Daniel who told her the same thing as Flair said something to Alex.

Charlotte: Your gonna regret this.

She immediately left the office in anger as the office doors were opened again and it was the Usos holding their undisputed tag titles as they said something.

Jimmy: She's angry.

Jey: No kidding. [Looks at Alex] Woah, look who it is.

Jimmy: Wait I heard of him. What's his name? What's his name?

Jey: Ah crap. Forget what his name was. I mean come on, who even remembers him?

Alex stared at the Usos as they began laughing and continued speaking to him.

Jimmy: And he can't even do anything to stop us.

Jey: Yeah. He's better off at home anyways.

Daniel: What do you two want?

Jey: Respect. You two are really gonna let Ciampa and Gargano get away with attacking us!?

Jimmy: The Undisputed Tag Team-

Alex: Well you two deserved that attack since you two always love to attack others from behind.

Daniel spit his water out and laughed as the Usos were angry and were gonna attack him until Dalton stopped them and said something.

Daniel: Hey! If you two even lay a finger. I won't hesitate to suspend your asses.

Jimmy: You-

Daniel: Alex is right. You two have no balls and love to attack others from behind. So if you want to prove to everyone that your the best. Then how about you defend your tag titles against Ciampa and Gargano?

The Usos were angry and glared at both of them before they accepted the match and left the office in anger.

Alex and Daniel looked at each other as they immediately left the office and began making their way towards the commentary table to watch the matches.
