The Next Day.

Lavanya was all ready up and dressed to go down and help with breakfast when a knock on her door alerted her.

She moved to the door and opened it and there stood Nk with a nervous smile.

Lavanya let him in and both stood there staring at each other nervously.

"Lavanya please sit...... I need to talk about something very important with you. " Nk said nervously and Lavanya pulled the small stool closer to her dressing mirror and sat on it facing Nk who was sitting on the bed.

"What do you want to talk about? " Lavanya asked curiously.

"I want to talk about us. " Nk replied looking into her eyes.

Lavanya was taken aback by his reply but kept quiet.

Nk scouted forward and held her hand and a current run through both of them taking them by surprise and they both smiled at each other.

"I will really want us to give this marriage a chance. " Nk said and Lavanya was about to retort but Nk stopped her placing his finger on her lips. "Please Lavanya...... I really mean it........ Yesterday seeing your parent and knowing how they always manipulated you to so their bidding, I become afraid. " Nk revealed surprising and confusing Lavanya at the same time.

"Why is that? " She asked and Nk sighed.

"I was afraid because I finally realized you are the woman for me and was afraid your parent will hurt you........ I don't know if what I feel for you is love but I am willing to give it a chance and it can only happen if you agree to give our relationship a chance and let's get to know each other more...... What do you say. " Nk asked nervously praying she say yes.

Lavanya was surprised by his confessions but smiled and touched his cheek and rubbed it.

"Okay....... I also want to give our marriage a chance but let me tell you something...... I don't know if I deserve you or this family but am ready to give our relationship a chance....... Only if the family is okay with it. " Lavanya replied and Nk nodded and smiled at her.

"I know they will agree and also consider you family and example of their acceptance is the way they stood up for you yesterday........ Yes Nannav and Akash did have their doubts but now its cleared but just to make your mind at ease,we will ask them......okay." Nk said with a smile and Lavanya  smiled back and nodded.

Nk kissed her cheek and rushed out of there leaving behind a blushing Lavanya.

She got down to the kitchen  with a huge smile and her hand on her cheek.

Surbhi  and Preeto  who was already in the kitchen looked at each other baffled at her smiling and yet lost state.

Preeto moved closer and looked at Lavanya who was unfortunately lost in the kiss Nk gave her.

"Di....... What happened?" She asked in concern and a lost Lavanya replied.

"Nk kissed me."

Surbhi snickered and Preeto's eyes widened in shock but what broke Lavanya's reverie was Payal yelling.

"What!? "

They all turned to find a shocked Payal with a hunging jaw and wide eyes.

It turned into a mischievous smirk as she walked up to her and nudged her.

"Naughty naughty Lavanya. " Payal teased with a giggle and the others joined making Lavanya curse Nk for making her all flustered.

They all heard someone clearing the throat and turned to find Khushi looking at them with confusion etched on her face.

Preeto then proceeded to tell her about Nk kissing Lavanya and she joined in on the teasing.

"Stop it guys. " Lavanya scolded and they stopped not wanting to make her feel more uncomfortable.

She then turned to Khushi and held her hand.

"Khushi...... I really want to apologize for all the horrible things I did to you in the past...... I want to start afresh and life has not only given me by a sister but a new family...... So please forgive me. " Lavanya apologized almost on the verge of crying and Khushi smiled and rubbed the back of her hand with her thumbs.

"I forgave you a long time ago but I hope you starting afresh in life involves Nk because I think he is beginning to fall for you and you both make a great couple. " Khushi said and Preeto and Payal supported her.

Lavanya then proceeded and told them of her conversation with Nk and they all jumped enthusiastically. Surbhi pulled her into a hug afterwards.

"I love you so much and thank your stars you agreed or else I would have tied you to my son with handcuffs and thrown the keys away. " Surbhi said and they all giggled. "Welcome to the family. "

She hugged her again and broke the hug with smiles on both faces.

"Khushi what is that on your neck? " Preeto said as she moved closer to her and seeing it clearly she snickered making Khushi confessed and she looked up to find the others throwing teasing looks at her.

She took the silver blatter on the sink and looked at her reflection.

She gasped in shock seeing multiple hickeys on her neck and wondered why she never noticed them before.

Snickers broke her reverie and she smiled nervously at them.

"Apparently Lavanya is not the only one being naughty...... Khushi has been naughty with Arnav. " Surbhi teased wiggling her brows.

And embarrassed Khushi rushed out if there to her room as laughter was heard behind her.

She got to the room and saw Arnav has shifted from his side of the bed and onto her side hugging her pillow.

She fumed remembering the teasing she got down stairs.

She then picked up Arnav's pillow and hit him in the face with it.

Arnav jerked out his sleep and looked up seeing an angry Khushi.

"Baby.... What's wrong?...... Why are you angry this lovely morning? " Arnav yearned as he stretched.

Khushi started hitting him with the pillow and seeing that didn't hurt him, she started pulling his hair making Arnav yelp and he pulled her to his chest locking her in his strong arms.

"What's with the morning violence? " Arnav asked and kissed her cheek and an angry Khushi yanked herself from his arms  and stood up.

"What's this? " Khushi asked pointing to the hickeys on her neck and Arnav smirked and stood up, walked over to her and pulled her closer.

"Why you want more? " Arnav smirked with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Khushi twitched her mouth in annoyance and pushed him away.

"Don't you dare Mr Raizada...... Do you know the amount of teasing and embarrassment I went through down stairs when they all saw it...... I had to run away and I can't join them because I know they won't stop teasing and all because of you. " Khushi exclaimed in anger and poking his chest.

Arnav smiled and pulled her closer.

"Don't let them get to you...... This love bite is to show everyone you are finally mine and I won't stop giving them to you and don't you dare say you don't like me kissing you on the neck because last night will prove you to be a liar if you deny it. " Arnav said and Khushi smiled shyly playing with his collar. "Okay..... To stop them from teasing you...... Change into something that hids it and let me get ready and let's go to Aarav and get him ready okay. "

Khushi nodded and Arnav went to the bathroom after giving her a peck on the lips.

After Arnav finished showering and getting dressed, they moved to Aarav's room and found his bed empty.

Aarav then come out of his bathroom with a towel around his waist.

He immediately jumped into Khushi's arms and wished her and Arnav good morning.

Khushi and Arnav then helped him get dressed and they trio walked hand in hand down stairs to find the entire family already at the table waiting for them.

Aarav let go off his parent's hands and rushed up to Khushav who giggled and babbled seeing Aarav.

They all sat down to eat, Payal fed Khushav and Khushi fed Aarav.

Arnav cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention.

"Thanks to Aman and the publicist we are able to put all the disasters behind us....... So I and Aakash have decided it's about time we go ahead with the fashion show. " Arnav said and they all nodded.

"And we also have a surprise for all of you. " Aakash continued and everyone looked at him curiously waiting to know what it was. "All of us will model the new line........ It will also be a perfect opportunity to introduce Aarav and Khushav to the world and the entire family too. "

Everyone liked the idea but Shashi didn't and it showed on his face.

This didn't go unnoticed by all.

"Babuji....... Are you okay? " Payal asked in concern.

"The idea of Arnav  and Aakash is good but there is still the issue with Garima..... I don't want that woman's bad image to reflect on us and my children. " He revealed and they all understood him.

Arnav and Akash smiled and looked at him.

"There's no need to worry babuji...... We were planning on surprising you but I guess it's time to reveal what we planned. " Arnav said and Shashi and the others except Akash, Manohar and Manoj who knew curiously looked at him.

"The judge in charge of the case is a good friend of mine. " Manohar revealed. "And I told him make the case and sentencing as silent as he can...... And he agreed..... No one will even know we are related to Garima and tomorrow...... Your marriage to her will finally be annulled. "

Shashi become happy hearing this and thanked them for everything.

They all went back to eating happily afterwards until Aarav said something.

"Mummy...... Papa...... I had a dream last night. " Aarav said gaining their attention.

"What was the dream about? " Arnav asked looking at his son who was munching on his food.

"I dreamt that mummy gave birth to twins...... A boy and a girl. " Aarav revealed innocently not knowing what he had caused.

The women threw teasing looks at her and Arnav smirked and picked him up from Khushi's lap onto his.

"Well pray very hard on it because dreams do come true. " Arnav said and looked at Khushi who glared at him as the others smiled.

Nani and Mami were watching all of them teasing Khushi and laughing.

"If only I had been a good grandmother, then I would have been part of their happiness but I guess this is my punishment for always siding with Anjali and being baised towards Akash and Arnav. " Nani said sadly and Mami rubbed her back to calm her down.

"Me too...... I was such a bad wife...... I took advantage of Manohar's love for me....... I really loved him but I got blinded by the glits and glamour so much that those fake people because my priority and I lost sight of my son and husband....... I also sided with Anjali because in the beginning only Ratna accepted me and seeing Anjali felt like seeing her that's why I always sided with her and also to please you into accepting me...... I hated Payal because after all these years, you have never given me the kind of respect she got from you." Mami said and Nani looked at her sadly.

Yes, she finally understood today that she was partly to be blamed for Mami's attitude.

She always thought her only son will marry from an affluent family so when Manohar mentioned he was in love with Mami she was immediately against the marriage and even sacked Mami out of the house.

Manohar became angry and left home only to return a few days later married to Mami.

Her ailing husband who was more concerned with his son's happiness accepted them and so did Ratna.

She did everything to make Mami feel inferior to them but her daughter, son and husband always supported her and sided with Mami which angered her.

She never fully accepted Mami not even after the birth of Akash.

Even until today she never respected her and she sees the envy in her eyes everytime she respected Payal and she knew that was the reason she never accepted Payal.

She turned to Mami who was almost on the verge of crying and cupped her cheek.

"I can't do this anymore Sasuma....... That's why I have decided to divorce Manohar and go far away from here...... It hurts so much to see the hatred in their eyes for me. " Mami said now crying. "I am repenting but they still don't believe me and I don't blame them...... I blame myself for it. "

Nani hugged Mami as she cried making her feel horrible for being part of her misery.

"Am so sorry Manu..... Please forgive. " Nani apologized as she broke the hug. "I know the damage has already been done but please forgive me...... Am so sorry...... I also have to leave and am again sorry for not making you feel at home with us and for looking down on  you. " Nani apologized and Mami smiled shaking her head.
