Our heroes are getting closer to the target, but they have to go through a swamp that's also foggy.

Swamps are kinda unsettling. It's just that you have to deal with the dirty water while traversing. Don't forget that you deal with the bugs too.

Speaking of bugs, there are a lot of them that can still shoot you with magic. Thankfully, their bullets are small, so they are easy to dodge, but don't underestimate bug magic, because it can still harm you with large numbers.

Don't worry about the fireflies, they're harmless, as they are rumored to keep a trapped soul inside their glowing bodies.

🌼Kiyo🌼: Ah! It's those guys!

Jet: I guess..

Glaive: Are you sure about that?

**MID-BATTLE ENGAGED**

Kiyo shoots a bunch of bullets in random directions that slightly turn right or left that come in pink, green, blue, and orange.

Considering the non-spell is easy, the Silver team stopped the non-spell easily.

Mid-Boss Spell Card: "Seasonal Tornado"

Kiyo spawns a bunch of bullets from the sky that resemble a tornado as they fall, consisting of flowers, water, snowflakes, and leaves.

Again, it wasn't hard, letting the Silver team capture the spell card and defeat Kiyo, again.

**Kiyo Defeated, Meanwhile**

Glaive: The swamp is slightly glowing, but how?

Jet: Fireflies, they are pretty fascinating creatures.

Jet: Some rumors say that they hold a spirit inside.

Glaive: How can you tell? They just glow.

Jet: Divine spirits glow, so fireflies hold them.

Jet: It is kinda fascinating, to say the least. It kinda clears up the fog a little.

Glaive: Sometimes fireflies are just essential, they light up our old lanterns, like they are our little light bulbs.

Jet: Huh.. Come to think of it, the swamp has a weird feeling.

Glaive: What is it?

Jet: Like this dimension has been tampered with.

Glaive: As in?

Jet: I hear resonances of glitching, but the closest I can hear it is in this swamp land.

Glaive: Is someone or something gli-tch-ing here?

Jet: If there is glitching, then there has to be a break in the dimension.

Jet: So far, I don't see any.

Glaive: By the way, what is gli-tch-ing?

Jet: An error in their physical body or shape, causing them or it to look distorted.

Glaive: So who, or what, is gli-tch-ing?

???: I am.

Glaive: Who's this?

**Boss 5 Appears**

???: I'm-m a coyote, but I'm also a pha-antom.

Jet: Looks like we found the glitch, so are you the one who is causing a breach in the dimension?

???: I didn't make a breach yet. So what breach are you tallking about?

Glaive: Whoa.. You alright?

???: I'm fine, no need to worry.

???: I'm-m Physio, by the way.

Glaive: This guy is kinda scary.

Jet: He's okay, maybe he's like that?

Physio: I did say I'm a phantom right?

Jet: Phantoms are technically evil or corrupted spirits, yet this guy doesn't act evil.

Physio: I think it's true, but I don't know. I'm kind of a nice person.

Glaive: He looks... awfully weird..

Physio: I can't help it, I'm glitched.

Jet: Sometimes the archaic aren't used to seeing things...

Glaive: I can hear ya, y'know!

Jet: Didn't notice you. Anyway, Physio, you know where the culprit is?

Physio: What culprit? What case are you trying to solve?

Jet: It's kind of a case, but more like incident.

Physio: What's the incident?

Jet: Natural disasters, a bunch of them.

Glaive: We're finding who's behind these shenanigans before worse, it can ruin our world.

Physio: I know where the culprit is hiding, but I'm sworn to secrecy...

Glaive: Wait, he knows about the culprits whereabouts?

Glaive: Can we interrogate him?

Physio: What?

Jet: Don't, yet. Can you at least tell us who is keeping you secret?

Physio: Also classified.

Jet: ....

Glaive: Interrogate?

Jet: Fine. But since he is pretty nice for a phantom, go easy on him.

Physio: What are you going to do to me?

Jet: Interrogating you.

Glaive: But more... our way.

Physio: Why are you pointing your weapons at me? I'm not doing anything wrong!

Glaive: You were siding with the culprit, so you kept their current info a secret!

Jet: Don't try to jump to conclusions...

Physio: Fine! If you guys want a fight, I'll give you one!

Jet: Okay, he's probably evil, let's get him.

Physio: D-I-E.

Glaive: That's still kinda scary to me.

**BATTLE ENGAGED**

The scenery starts to glitch, falling apart, revealing a grid floor and matrix-like scenery.

Physio shoots a lot of colored bullets in random directions, occasionally turning transparent pointing at a random direction.

The Silver team dodged the whole thing, with a lot of graze, and stopped the non-spell.

First Spell Card: Code Corrupt "Fake Entity"

Physio shoots a random spread of bullets at the Silver team. At a certain amount of time, the bullets turn into a different kind of shot, some them are bigger, some them are smaller, some are knives, and some are talismans, etc.

Jet was hit, forcing Glaive to use his bomb.

Glaive's Bomb: "Cutting-Edge Ricochet Swords"

Glaive shoots multiple swords in every direction, when upon hitting anything, they bounce and aim at Physio.

It wasn't enough firepower to stop the spell card.

After several more hits on Physio, the spell card stopped.

Physio shoots a spread of bullets that for several seconds they glitch and split into a couple of smaller bullets that aim for the Silver team, varying different speeds.

The Silver team barely made it, but stopped the non-spell.

Second Spell Card: Blink Card "Static Fixation"

Physio surrounds the Silver team in a circle of bullets, encasing them. After a short while, Physio makes their vision static in a millisecond causing the bullets around them to go in random directions, then he repeats.

Jet forced himself to use his flash bomb.

Jet's Flash Bomb: Crosshair "Reverse Path"

Six crosshairs appear in a circle, coming for Jet, clearing some of the shots Physio spawned.

The Silver team took a while to stop the spell card, but they captured it regardless.

Physio shoots a couple spreads of bullets that are impossible to dodge, but after a couple of seconds, some of the bullets glitched and reversed their path, creating openings in the spread.

The Silver team successfully stopped the non-spell, even if they had a lot of graze because of the number of bullets.

Third Spell Card: Matrix Card "Off The Grid"

Physio creates a grid made of lasers in the area. The lasers later turn into bullets. The bullets in a horizontal line move up or down in different speeds and vice versa, then repeats the process.

Glaive used his flash bomb during the attack.

Glaive's Flash Bomb: Weapon Tornado "Spear Wind"

Glaive throws a black spear at a random direction while other knives revolve around the spear, clearing some bullets.

Even with a flash bomb, Glaive was hit, forcing Jet to use his bomb.

Jet's Bomb: Nuclear Crash "Fusion to Fission"

Jet spawns and absorbs energy balls from around the area that damages Physio, then compresses them into a ball. Jet shoots that ball at Physio, exploding into many energy balls.

Jet's bomb stopped the spell card, even if they failed to capture it.

Physio spawns four large bullets in a square formation revolving around him, shooting lasers at the Silver team, while Physio himself shoots a more focused spread of bullets at the Silver team.

It was easy somehow, so the Silver team successfully stopped the non-spell.

Fourth Spell Card: Cloning "Binary Structure"

Physio spawns four clones of himself, revolving around the Silver team. One clone shoots lasers at the Silver team, another shoots a spread transparent bullets, another shoots a focused spread of knives at the Silver team, and the last one shoots talismans that go in a spiral pattern. While the real Physio shoots a spread of orbs that cross.

The Silver team can shoot the clones many times to destroy clones, so it's easier for them to shoot Physio.

It took a while, since the clones take so many shots. They captured the spell card with a lot of graze.

Fifth Spell Card: "Matrix Recluse"

Physio creates four large bullets in a square formation in a long range, then they disappear, shooting lasers. The lasers then split into two lasers, encasing the Silver team in a laser square that spins. Physio shoots a random spread of bullets while the laser square slowly gets smaller every time the Silver team hits Physio.

Since the square is small, it's hard for the Silver team to dodge all the bullets.

Jet was hit, but they all ran out of bombs.

They failed to capture the spell card, but after a while, they defeated Physio.

**Physio Defeated**

The scenery turns back to normal.

Physio💦: You really are that powerful...

Glaive: Especially that you had to waste your energy just fighting us, you know.

Physio💦: I think I'm about to lose my form...

Jet: Well, you better get going before you get damaged just by glitching.

Physio💦: Ah! I really do have to go!

Physio💦: One more thing... The culprit is hiding at Howling---

**Physio Disappears**

Jet: Ah. He disappeared.

Glaive: Thank goodness for that, what did he do to the background while we're fighting?

Jet: He probably unleashed his full power upon attacking us, he really did look like he did a "number" to the place.

Glaive: ...

Jet: Also, he was trying to tell us something before he left.

Glaive: And that is?

Jet: "Howling..." Then he left.

Glaive: It sounds like Howling Hill.

Jet: Yeah, and it looks like a storm's cooking up there.

Glaive: Well then, let's go!

Jet: Hey! Don't just fly up there, wait for me!

**Moving on to Stage 6**
