The last couple of months in New Mexico was different but it's what I needed.

I've spoken to my  mother more than I ever had just to let her know that everything was good and the baby was doing great.

Once I told the big news to sj he's being doing so much for me, more than what I could ask for and I was grateful for that.

I even been speaking with star from Time to time as she told me about the arrest on my father.

I take it the both of them got into a fight which left her with a very bad scar on the side of her left eye.

I never told her where I was now living for my lack of trust that I still had with her.

I was alone in the hotel room while sj went out and search  for some homes.

We made our mind up to spend the rest of our lives here, and to raise our child in a environment that was very comfortable.

There was a knocked at the door which took me from out my daze.

Covering my chest up with my sweater I walked over before looking through the peep hole.

A elder lady dress in a maid outfit was on the outside looking in.

Once I unlock the door I gave her a smile as she just stared at me.

Maybe she realize I didn't belong here at this point I'm not so sure what's going on in her mind.

Then she spoke as her voice was so soft and kind.

" tareas" She spoke

( * chores* )

Confuse as to what she said I just gave her another smiled.

" tareas" she asked again.

Before I could say anything sj came walking behind her before standing beside me.

" no gracias, lo tengo" he told her and she nodded her head before walking away.

( * no thank you, I got it*)

He then closed the door behind us and walk into the living room .

I followed behind him while taking a seat on the leather couch.

" babe what did she ask for?"

" she wanted to know if she could do chores"

I frown my face before taking a chip from out his hand.

" she's more like a housekeeper" he said breaking it down some more.

" oh gotcha well she could have just said that, I don't know Spanish" i said disappointed.

sj handed me over the bag of lays chips while sitting up In the chair.

" then I'll teach you Storm. If we going to live here and raised our child here the least I can do is teach you my language"

Not sure about the idea I shrugged my shoulders as I gulp down some tea.

" I don't know I'll be bad at it I know I will" I sigh

" well you won't know unless you try. Tomorrow bright and early I'll teach you."

Rubbing my hands together I agreed and he patted the empty space for me to sit beside him.

9:00am

" okay here are some homes I've been looking at, but my heart is set on this one"

Rolling over in bed I rub my stomach before sj placed his hand over mines.

" you okay?" He asked concern

" yeah I'm fine just feels lil sick but I'm okay" I said.

" let me see what house has your eye" I grab the paper from him and took a look at it.

I covered my mouth to hold back the laughs that was coming.

" what?, what is it?"

" it's... it's pretty" I said with little enthusiasm.

He huff before taking the paper back.

" you don't like it huh?"

" I'm not saying it's ugly but i don't think this is like a dream home. Could we look at maybe Another home"

He threw his head back on the pillow before palming his face.

" Por favor" I tease.

(* please* )

He started laughing as he knew what that meant.

" gosh you better be glad I love you" he mumble into the side of my stomach which cause me to squeal.

" fine I'll look at some more, in fact here's a book you can do some searching too"

Feeling that I could find us a better home I took him up on that offer.

After going through four books full with beautiful homes I decided to go with the first choice.

It took a minute for it to win me over, but after looking at how gorgeous the inside look I knew it was made for a family.

Our family.

" okay you win I love the house so when can we move in?"

He clap his hands together as a sign of happiness.

" well whether you agree to the home or not I had already sign the lease and we can move in by today"

Shocked at his fast decision I couldn't help but to kiss him.

He always thought he knew what was best for me or for us and I guess he was right.

But not all the time.

" your something else, great I guess i can get myself together so that we can get our dream house started"

We took a shower together and did our routine, and clean up the hotel room.

While I watch sj check us out in the lobby I looked over to see a family playing over by the water fountain.

I smiled at them, but of course they wasn't paying me no attention as if I wasn't there.

I rub my belly and picture me and sj doing the exact same thing soon.

He reach for my waist and I quickly turn my head towards him.

" you ready?" He asked before putting his attention on the family.

"  yes,  you know that'll be us soon" I mentioned.

He kiss my forehead and we walked out of the hotel and was now on our way to the home that will feel right for us.

A home that will bring us nothing but peace and blessings.
