~ Storm ~

" okay sir that'll be ten ninety five" I told him while packing his daisy into a bag. 

Work flow was going pretty well for me as I knew pebbles had a friend to play with back at the apartment.

Scrolling through my phone the bell ring as Chanel came in.

" girl what's going on you look like you seen a ghost" I joked.

She threw her bags onto the counter before taking off her shades.

" had a long night with Sean"

" was that in a good way or bad way?" I wondered

" let's just say my dad walked in on us with a broom stick"

We both busted out In Laughter as I could have only imagine.

" was we busy today?"

Sitting up I position Some of the flowers that sat pretty on the table.

" nope not today but your favorite Customer came in"

" who" she ask while taking of her coat.

" Adam stockman"

" awe really I can't believe I miss him today. Let me guess he bought"

" Daisy's" we said in unity.

I gather my things as my shift was coming to an end.

" hey I want to talk to you about something"

" what's up" I said drinking down a diet coke

" it's about that guy you have staying with you sj right"

Frowning my face I was now curious as to what she had to say about him.

" what about him?"

" did he tell you anything, weird that'll have you wondering about things?"

Even more confuse as to what she was getting at I shook my head.

" nope but listen I have to go I have dinner to make love you" I said tossing my coat over my shoulders.

The night was a bit windy but still warm out.

Searching for my keys I unlock my door and enter my vehicle.

My mind keep thinking about what Chanel was getting at with the comment she made.

Pulling into my apartment I walked into the building to see pebbles eating her dinner and sj laying across the couch.

Stepping out of my shoes i walked over and just smiled as he laid so peaceful.

" you're staring at me again" he mumble without even opening up his eyes.

Looking behind me then back at him I was a bit shook.

" don't worry Storm I can smell your perfume I'm not a freak."

He then open his eyes and sat up.

" huh I never said those words" I said before sitting besides him.

He rubbed his hands together and I watch him closely just in case he tapped his knee.

" trust me I won't paralyzed you, and I'm sure you have questions" he said turning my way.

I had a lot to say but the only one that I wanted to ask was the one he should have known already.

" how did you get that gift?"

" this gift?" He laughed "No this is not a gift this is a curse that I activated once my mother got killed"

Not knowing mrs Jacobs was deceased I realize maybe i wasn't ready to hear about his ability.

" being lock up for a while took a strain on me and my relationship with my mom. I got beaten by cops, I was fighting off inmates every day and night no it was a mess."

He stop as his leg started to bounce up and down.

" once my mother died this ability I guess activated and now I have to live with it. I never told you but my mother also had this curse... to paralyzed people"

" she tried to drown me one night when you went away It was like my upper body was able to move but from the waist down was nothing, no movement, not A DAMN THING"

I could feel my eyes tearing up at the fact of what sj had to go through and deal with.

But for what?.

" I'm sorry you had to go through all that" I rubbed his back but he still seem off.

" I never told you but the accident that took place with your mother wasn't just a normal car accident."

" what!.. what  are talking about" I was Tune in to whatever he had to say now.

" my mother was in the car that night with your mom. she told me she only wanted to talk about getting her position back, but your mother wasn't having it."

" instead of my mother leaving it alone she use her curse to paralyzed your mom from the—"

" waist down" I finished

" exactly. I wanted to tell you so bad storm I really did, but I didn't want you to see my mother as a monster"

I wasn't even upset after hearing his story. In fact I was happy that I finally got the truth behind what really caused my mother's accident.

I was able to breath knowing that the caused wasn't from her drinking.

" thank you for coming forward with telling me the truth about everything it means a lot"

Cuffing his chin I place my lips onto his.

He wrap his hands around my waist before laying me down and crawling on top of me.

" I believe we have unfinished business " I said as I kiss his neck.

He grin while I allowed him to undo my pants and untied my shirt.

" yes... yes we do".

Turning over in my bed sj was still asleep

My body then started to heat up as I was feeling a bit odd.

Removing his hands from around my waist I rushed to the bathroom, and turn on the sink water.

Taking a deep breath in and out I look into the mirror and everything seemed normal.

What's going on with me.....
