omga non fanfic holy cow! 

yeah so this is one I came up with almost a year ago (it'll be a year in March)

its in the form of a journal/diary 

1/31/24

Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. 

I went to visit her today. She's not doing good. The doctors say she's in a coma. 

My mom couldn't handle it and ran out of the room crying just five minutes after we got there. I just stood by her bed watching her. 

She kept twitching in her sleep. She wouldn't stop twitching so I told one of the nurses and she ran into the room and gasped. She told us we needed to leave, because my grandma had to have emergency surgery, which made my mom cry more.

While we were walking to the parking lot, my mom got a call. We went to the car and I got in and waited for my mom to get off the phone. She got off the phone angrily and opened the door and slammed it after she got into the car. She drove home, dropped me off and sped away. 

She came home hours later smelling of cigarettes and liquor. "Mom?" I asked when she stumbled into the living room later that night. "What are you doing?" She had a glass liquor bottle in her hand. "It-it-it's all YOUR fault!" She slurred. She was obviously very drunk and I could tell she wasn't in the best mood. "What's my fault?" I asked "Your fault that your dad left!" She slurred. "He didn't want kids! He only wanted to be with stupid Sera and her stupid kids!" She yells. "Mom how is-'' 

I realize what she just said is technically true. My whole existence is an accident.
