The Silent Scream
Prologue
Fiona and her brothers (Matthew and Felix) went on a university trip in the mountains to trek with their friends (Hayden, Aiden, Simon, and Sabrina).
They were all on the Suv, sponsored by their parents for the trip. Giggling, singing, joking. But suddenly;
“Hey guys, where are the rest of the university busses that were with us”
“I don’t know, they were just behind us”
“Oh no! We are lost.”
“It's midnight what do we do, we don’t know the location of our hotel.”
There is a beautiful mansion, let’s stay there.”
“Hello sir, we lost our track, can we stay the night here”.
“Yes! You can. I have been waiting for people for so long.” A creepy smile emerged.
Their night was going fine untill...
"Hi, have you seen Matt?"
"No, we have not seen him for the last 20 minutes"
"Hi, what are you guys talking about?"
"Where are you, Matt?"
"I... I ...don't know, I don't remember”. A feeble voice of Mattew, signaling an imminent danger.
“Oh, Matt! You’re back, we were worried. Let's not stay here anymore.”
“Thank God, we finally escaped.”
“Look! 20 minutes have passed, I don’t remember what happened, weren’t we just talking to Matt.....”
“Neither do I! But at least we escaped that creepy mansion.”
Are you sure you guys have escaped...

Fiona Pov:
The lighting flashed through the window; the clouds rumbled
with heavy rain causing a chilly ambiance in my room. When I was done packing, I skipped to my brothers' rooms to ask if they needed my help, but they were already standing in front of the door.
"Fiona, Mom was calling us for dinner," said Matt softly, I could see from his eyes he was damn tired from packing.
"Let's go I am damn hungry and today Mom made my favorite mac and cheese and pasta," I said while closing my room’s door.
"We are here Mom. Please give us food we are so tired from packing," said Felix hyperactively while clinging to Mom.
"Felix, sit down and take your seat first son. How can your mother give you your food when you are clinging to her like a monkey," said Dad (Officer James) shaking his head at his son's antics.
"When are you guys leaving for the trip?" Dad asked Matt while serving food on Mom’s plate.
"Tomorrow morning Dad, but we’ll start our journey at noon, after getting morning classes in first aid and survival," Matt replied munching on his food.
We ate our dinner quietly while Dad gave us lectures on safety and first aid. Then we all went to sleep.
In the morning there was light drizzling. All plants and roads were looking fresh from the night’s rain. We quickly ate our breakfast and went to the university to collect our passes and bus. Mathew took the wheel, and we started our journey not knowing that trip would change our whole life for the better or worse.
We were traveling for one hour. Today's weather was also thunderstorms. There were dark clouds, and winds were rumbling through trees as we were in the middle of the forest. I was reading a book about humanoids and human conflict. It was quite an interesting book when someone next to me cleared his throat and spoke.
"You're looking adorable in those glasses, Fiona," Hayden said, causing a blush to spread across my cheeks.
My heart fluttered when I got lost in his deep, dark, captivating eyes and his handsome face; did I forget to tell you that I have a crush on Hayden? I heard whistling so I turned to see who was whistling. Then I saw Simon whistling while looking at us and Felix was glaring at Hayden. My cheek blushed from embarrassment, and went to read again, hiding myself in the book again when I heard Hayden chuckle.
"Matt, how much time will it take to reach the hotel? It's already getting late and raining heavily," asked Hayden after wiping the fog from the window to watch where we are now.
"Guy there is a problem; I lost the connection with the university busses also I think I took the wrong route or turn. Try to call the teacher to send their live location." Said Matt anxiously while looking around the road.
" Hi guy there is one more problem we lost network too," said Felix nervously.
“Damm it. Now we are in the middle of nowhere,” said Matt slamming his fist on the steering wheel angrily.
“I feel like we should not continue traveling, in case we end up using all our fuel. Perhaps we should stay somewhere for the night... there must be some hotel or house nearby.” I thoughtfully suggest.
“Let's do this we don’t have any other option, now do we?” a deep disappointed sigh escaped from Matt's lips.
An hour into our journey, we stumbled upon a secluded mansion, nestled deep within the woods. Despite the late hour, the mansion seemed to be inhabited. Shivering from the cold and unable to continue our journey on the bus, we decided to seek shelter. With a heavy heart, Matt approached the gate and requested a night's stay.
"Hi, can we stay here for the night? We got lost from our teacher and couldn't reach them due to poor mobile network. It's getting really cold, and we could use this place to sleep. We can all share one room. Please let us stay," Matt pleaded with the gatekeeper.
"I'll have to ask my boss. Please wait here," The gatekeeper, a stoic figure, nodded and replied mechanically, disappearing into the mansion, leaving us to shiver in the chilly night air.
The gatekeeper, a stoic figure, granted our request after consulting with the owner. As he spoke, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was more like a robot than a human. I turned to Felix, my brother, and whispered my concerns.
"Hey, Felix, did you notice how robotic he was? Like he was a robot," I asked, scratching my head in confusion.
"You've been reading too much sci-fi. Maybe he's just tired or doesn't like to talk much," Felix chuckled and replied, ruffling my hair.
Thankfully, the owner agreed to let us stay for the night. We parked our bus at the gate and followed the gatekeeper into the mansion. Little did we know, we were walking right into a lion's den.
The gatekeeper gave us a tour of the mansion, outlining the restricted areas. We were forbidden from entering the third-floor, second-floor, basement, first-floor west wing, and ground-floor west wing. The ground-floor east wing served as a dining room and kitchen for guests, while our guest room was located on the first-floor east wing. As the gatekeeper ushered us into our opulent suite, he informed us that dinner would be served in a few hours and that a butler would keep us informed. No need to wander the mansion aimlessly.
After freshening up, we gathered in the spacious living room. We decided that Sabrina and I would bunk in the first room, Matt and Felix in the second, and Hayden, Simon, and Aiden in the third, which had three single beds.
"How about we play a game to pass the time until dinner?" Felix suggested thoughtfully.
"I'm in," Matt nodded, plopping down on the sofa.
"Me too," Hayden and Simon agreed in unison.
"Sabrina and I will play chess. You guys go ahead," Aiden said, gesturing towards the chessboard.
"Fiona, do you want to join us?" Simon asked me when I was engrossed in my book.
"Nah, I'm good. I'm trying to finish this," Fiona replied apologetically, her eyes glued to her book.
An hour later, a gentle knock interrupted our room door. Matt sprang up to answer, finding a well-dressed butler standing there. He informed us that dinner was served and they were waiting for us in the guest dining room. Intrigued, we followed the butler downstairs, our appetites piqued by the prospect of a delicious meal.
After a satisfying dinner, as we made our way back to our suite, the butler handed us a pair of candles.
"Just in case the lights go out," he explained with a knowing smile.
As we settled into our room, a mischievous idea sparked in Felix's mind. He pulled out the Ouija board he had packed for the trip. A thrill of anticipation ran through us as we gathered around the board, our hearts pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation.

In the dimly lit living room, illuminated only by the flickering candles, the group gathered to play an Ouija board. Little did they know, they were walking into a trap set by the mansion's mysterious owner. The candles, it seemed, were slowly lulling them into a deep sleep.
After a while, Fiona noticed that Felix was missing. "Has anyone seen Felix? He's been gone for about 20 minutes," she asked.
"Maybe he went to the bathroom," Hay replied, stopping mid-sentence as he spotted Felix entering the room with a water bottle.
"Where were you, Felix? Why didn't you tell us you were going out?" Matt asked.
"I don't remember being with you guys. The next thing I knew, I was in the kitchen. I have no idea how I got there," Felix replied, scratching the back of his neck.
"Felix, please let us know if you're going somewhere. You know the rule the gatekeeper gave us. I don't want to cause any trouble here, so please don't wander around unnecessarily," Matt scolded him gently.
"It's okay, Matt. Now, everyone, let's go to sleep. It's already midnight, and we have to leave early in the morning," Hayden said, squeezing Matthew's shoulder.
One by one, the group retired to their rooms, unaware of the danger lurking within the mansion. The trap had been set, and it was only a matter of time before each of them disappeared for 20 minutes, just like Felix. Would they be able to save themselves, or would they fall deeper into the mysterious owner's clutches?

Hayden Pov:
Last night, I was fast asleep. I remember feeling perfectly at peace in my bed. But the next thing I knew, I was standing outside our door. Everyone else was still asleep, so I decided to keep it to myself.
The next morning, I woke up to find Simon and Aiden's beds empty. I assumed they were with the others after getting ready, so I went outside to find them. As soon as I did, I could tell something was wrong. Everyone was tense, discussing something in hushed tones. Matt wasn't there, so I asked about him.
"Hi guys, have you seen Matt? He wasn't in the room," I asked. Everyone turned to look at me.
"No, we haven't seen Matt in 20 minutes. The last time I saw him, he was heading outside," Simon replied, staring at the door.
Just as Aiden was about to say something, Matt walked in.
"Hi guys, what are you talking about?" he asked, interrupting Aiden.
"Where were you, Matt? Don't tell me you ALSO don't remember," Aiden asked hopefully.
"Yes, I don't remember. But how do you know I don’t remember?” Matthew confusingly asked
“I will tell you, but answer me what is the last thing you remember,” Aiden asked Matthew.
“I remember that I was in the living room cleaning up the mess of last night, and then the next thing I knew, I was on the first-floor staircase going towards the ground floor. WAIT!!! ALSO...What do you mean by 'ALSO '?" Matt replied and asked at the same time
“Guys I have to tell you something, the same thing happened to me last that happened to Matthew; I also disappeared and don’t remember how I got outside of our door.” blood drains from my face when I tell everyone about my incident.
"We all disappeared for 20 minutes and couldn't recall what happened. " Sabrina said.
"We need to leave. This place isn't safe,” I said to Matthew and we all went to pack our bags.
Within 10 minutes, we were all packed and ready to go. We didn't tell anyone about our plans. As we sat in the car. Aiden explained that the same thing had happened to him, Simon, Sabrina, Fiona, Felix, Matt, with me too. It means that everyone had vanished for 20 minutes. Had no memory of where they'd been and what happened to them.
After 30 minutes the familiar strains of a lullaby, a tune I'd heard before, began to creep into my consciousness. The droning of the car engine seemed to synchronize with the melody, lulling me into a deep slumber. My eyelids grew heavy, and before I could fight it, I was lost in a dreamless sleep.

A shadowy figure watched them escape through mansion gates from the opulent room of the sprawling mansion. Hades Erebus, a man in his late twenties, was known as the God of Darkness, a moniker that seemed to fit his enigmatic nature. Renowned for his scientific brilliance, Hades had completed his studies at an astonishingly young age. Rumor had it that he had vanished after the tragic death of his parents.
Hades' grandfather was the only surviving family member, and some whispered that he had been cast out following the loss of his parents. Others speculated that Hades himself was responsible, claiming that he had conducted experiments on his parents that had gone wrong. However, the truth of these allegations remained shrouded in mystery. But the true nature of these allegations remained a haunting secret, known only to the enigmatic man who had vanished into the shadows of his opulent mansion.

Hades Erebus Pov:
In my luxurious mansion, a gift from my parents upon graduation, I had created a secluded haven nestled deep within the forest. This isolation provided the perfect sanctuary for my experiments, both legal and clandestine. My ultimate goal was ambitious: to transform humans into humanoids.
Rumors circulated that my parents' tragic demise was a direct result of my experiments, and these rumors were tragically true. Their bodies had been the subjects of my first failed attempts. I would honor their memory by crafting the ultimate humanoid, a testament to my skill and a tribute to their lost lives.
As night fell, a menacing storm brewed outside, casting an eerie glow over my mansion. Undeterred, I entered my study, my mind consumed by the reports detailing my countless failed experiments. But amidst the chaos, a breakthrough had emerged: I had finally discovered a method to create the perfect humanoid. All that remained was to find suitable subjects.
Just as I was pondering this, my gatekeeper, himself a failed subject of my experiments, informed me of seven students who had lost their way and sought shelter from the storm. A sinister smile crept across my face. Not one, but seven subjects – a bounty beyond my wildest dreams.
I welcomed the students, instructing the gatekeeper to inform them of the mansion's rules. My butler, another product of my experiments, was summoned to prepare a lavish meal for my guests. I provided him with candles and a music box, and his was task clear. The candles would lull my subjects to sleep, while the music box would activate their hypnotic trance.
My first subject was Felix. As he approached the kitchen for a drink, the butler played the music box. Felix's consciousness immediately slipped into a trance, and the butler escorted him to my lab, where I observed the entire scene from my laptop. Once in the lab, I placed Felix on the operating table and began a delicate procedure, implanting a music box tune chip that I could control.
As I dimmed the lights, Felix stirred awake. I began playing the music box tune, and his memories of the lab vanished, replaced with a fabricated reality. With a satisfied smirk, I left the lab, confident that Felix would soon lead the other students into my trap.
The next morning, my all guests were under my complete control with one click they obeyed my orders. However, I had underestimated their instincts. These naive university students sensed something amiss. They left the mansion, their suspicions growing stronger with each passing moment.
"This is my domain. You're welcome to enter at your discretion, but you'll depart at mine." My inner voice yelled and I watched them escape through my mansion. From my opulent room windows.
Thirty minutes later, I activated their implanted music box chips, hypnotizing them back onto the bus and sending them to sleep. My guards swiftly intercepted the bus, returning my subjects to their new home.
After one month

Officer James Pov (dad):
The rain hammered against the windows, a relentless drumbeat that matched the pounding in my chest. My children were missing and vanished into the depths of Blackwood Forest. Logan's voice, a barely audible whisper on the other end of the line, echoed my despair.
We mobilized our forces, a battalion of agents, forest rangers, and even a helicopter. The forest was a treacherous labyrinth, a living nightmare of dense undergrowth and hidden dangers. Weeks turned into a month, and still, no sign of our children.
Then, a lead: our agents spotted a mysterious mansion deep within the forest, allegedly belonging to the infamous Hades Erebus. A chill ran down my spine. We had a target.
Armed with a search warrant and a team of doctors, we approached the mansion cautiously. A peculiar, almost robotic gatekeeper greeted us, claiming our children had left earlier that morning. Bullshit. Something was off.
As we explored the mansion, we uncovered a hidden laboratory, a den of dark secrets. There, in glass jars, lay the preserved bodies of Hades Erebus's parents. A wave of nausea washed over me.
One room remained. My heart pounded in my chest as I approached the door. With trembling hands, I turned the knob. The world seemed to freeze as I stepped inside. My knees buckled, and I collapsed to the floor, my mind reeling from the horrifying sight before me.

Matthew Pov:
The clouds hung low, casting a soft, ethereal glow over the garden. As I strolled through the familiar paths, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. Our parents, teachers, and even our neighbors seemed different, their behavior subtly altered. It had been a month since we escaped the mansion, and this strange shift in their demeanor was becoming increasingly unsettling.
Hayden, his brothers, and Sabrina were experiencing the same unsettling changes. When we confronted our parents, their responses were curt, dismissive, or downright evasive.
Last night, Mom had scolded Felix harshly for clinging to her. It was completely out of character, a stark departure from her usual warmth and patience.
Something felt like abnormal, this did not seem like the normal world we lived in. There was a tornado in in my brain, my instincts were constantly telling me, “Something is wrong; this is not the world you belong to; run as far from this house as you can....”
Later, lost in thought in my study, I heard a familiar lullaby. The melody tugged at my memories, but I couldn't quite place it. And then, darkness enveloped me.

Hades Erebus Pov:
The stale, musty air of the basement laboratory clung to me like a second skin. The familiar scent of chemicals, a constant companion in my solitary pursuits, seemed even more pungent today. As I stepped into the final chamber, where my subjects had been confined for a month, a wave of anticipation washed over me.
I still remembered the night they had escaped, a harrowing ordeal that had tested my resolve. But their freedom was short-lived. Hypnotized and captured, they had become mere pawns in my grand experiment.
The laboratory was a labyrinth of gleaming machinery, each device serving a specific purpose in my endeavor. My subjects, their bodies tethered to a network of tubes and wires, lay in a state of suspended animation. For months, I had fed them a carefully curated reality, a world of my own creation. But even in their altered state, their resistance had persisted, a testament to their indomitable spirit.
Today, one of my subjects, Matthew, had exhibited an unusual degree of defiance. His struggle had been so intense that I had decided to awaken him, to assess the progress of my research. However, I realized that to truly gauge the extent of their transformation, I needed to awaken all of them.
A lullaby, a simple melody that had become a ritual, filled the room. One by one, my subjects stirred, their eyes fluttering open. They tried to move, but the chains binding them to the bed held them fast. Their cries echoed through the chamber, a desperate plea for freedom. I watched as their veins swelled, their blood darkening ominously.
Without hesitation, I donned a protective mask and presented each of them with a series of complex puzzles. If they wanted to survive, they would have to solve them. To my astonishment, they completed each task in a matter of minutes, their minds working at a speed far surpassing that of ordinary humans.
Years of tireless research, countless experiments, and countless failures had led to this moment. Fifty percent of my seven subjects had undergone a remarkable transformation. Their brains now functioned at a speed far surpassing that of ordinary humans, and their physical capabilities had increased exponentially.
Two more months. That's all it would take to complete the process. A wave of euphoria washed over me. I had achieved the impossible.
I entered the adjacent laboratory, a solemn shrine to my lost parents. Their bodies, preserved in a large glass jar, were a constant reminder of the sacrifices I had made.
"Mom, Dad, I've done it. In two months, I'll have created not just one, but seven perfect humanoids. I'll honor your memory by arranging a grand funeral. A tribute to the man who gave me life, and the woman who inspired me to reach for the stars." I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion.
The next morning sun streamed through the basement windows, casting long, dancing shadows across the laboratory. As I pressed the familiar tune, a soothing melody that had become a part of their daily routine, my subjects began to stir. I watched as their eyes fluttered open, their minds slowly emerging from the hypnotic trance.
Today, I was on the brink of a scientific breakthrough. The next crucial stage of my experiment was within reach. As I prepared to administer the second advanced dose of my experimental drug, a deafening crash shattered the tranquility of the laboratory. The heavy metal doors swung open, revealing a figure that sent a shiver down my spine.
A man, his face contorted with a mix of horror and anger, stood before me. He was dressed in a uniform that marked him as a law enforcement officer, but his demeanor was far from professional. With a menacing gleam in his eyes, he pointed his gun directly at me.
Before I could react, he lunged forward, shattering the syringe in my hand. A wave of panic washed over me as more officers flooded the room, their weapons drawn. A team of doctors rushed to my subjects, disconnecting them from the life-sustaining machines and examining them with a sense of urgency.
As they began to evacuate my subjects, I tried to protest. But before I could utter a word, the officer who had first entered the room delivered a powerful punch to my face.
"How dare you hurt my children, you'll rot in jail, I promise. You'll never see the light of day again." He growled; his voice thick with rage.
"Take him away!" He turned to the other officers; his eyes filled with a burning intensity.
"You think you can save them?” I laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. They're already mine. They'll do whatever I command.
With a flick of a switch, I activated a hidden mechanism. The lullaby that had been playing softly in the background suddenly intensified, its melody piercing the air. My subjects, their eyes glazed over, began to stir. As if in a trance, they turned to face the officers, their bodies tense with a primal energy.
"Attack!" I commanded; my voice barely audible over the deafening music.
Soon the music ended, but the murderous dance of my puppets continued, subduing anyone, coming in their way.

Officer James Pov:
The world seemed to tilt beneath my feet as I took in the horrifying scene before me. My children, along with their friends, were chained to beds in Hades Erebus's laboratory. The man, a twisted and depraved scientist, was about to inject Fiona with something when I reacted instinctively. With a well-aimed shot, I shattered the syringe and lunged at him.
A team of doctors rushed to the scene; their faces etched with concern. They quickly assessed the situation and insisted that my children and their friends be taken to the hospital. As they were being evacuated, I couldn't contain my rage. I lashed out at Hades Erebus, striking him with a powerful punch.
I asked my officers to take this psycho man away, BUT he seemed to be such a smug.. As if no one in this universe could hurt him. My instinct was right... the moment I knew, he activated some mechanism, and the room filled with the loud voice of lullabies. My soul left my body when my own children started to attack ME on his command.
The lullabies ended, but my children continued attacking. My mind dissociated and the whole maniac show without music ran in front of my own eyes.
“How much control does he have on my children’s mind and body?” My mind boggled, while my heart sank in.
I recovered from the shock, as I barely evaded the punch from my OWN SON, Mattew. Hades Erebus fled while pushing me aside. My officers were following him, while my mind racked to find a way to break their trance. I thought of playing the lullaby again, in the hope that since it started their trance, it could also break their trance. I ordered my officers to find the lullaby online and play it as loud as they could.
But soon, I noticed the music box lying on the lab floor. Grabbing it, I played the lullaby, its soothing melody cut through the chaos. To my relief, my children stopped attacking us and fell unconscious. The doctors rushed to their aid, checking their vital signs and preparing to transport them to the hospital.
As I exited the basement, my officers returned with Hades Erebus in handcuffs. I ordered them to arrest the butler and the gatekeeper as well. Then, I headed to the hospital where my children were being treated.

As Officer James stepped through the glass doors of the hospital, the sterile scent of disinfectant filled his nostrils. He made his way to the reception area, where Logan, his partner, and friends, were waiting anxiously. With a reassuring pat on James’s shoulder, Logan led him to the VVIP ward where their children were being treated.
Inside the ward, Stella James and Scarlet Rayn; the mothers of the children, were sitting by their beds, their faces etched with worry. Mr. Ryan and Professor Dawood; the fathers, were poring over medical documents. Stella embraced James, tears streaming down her face. James's eyes were also filled with concern as he thought about his and Logan’s children.
"Our kids are strong; nothing will happen to them. " Mr. Ryan said, placing a comforting hand on James's shoulder.
James nodded, grateful for Mr. Ryan's words of encouragement.
After a tense wait, the doctor called James, Mr. Ryan, and Professor Dawood into his office to discuss the situation. Stella and Scarlet were sent to their children's bedside.
"What did the doctor say?" Stella asked anxiously as she saw James enter the room.
"They're.... okay...., but they'll have to stay here for a week of observation," James replied, his eyes fixed on his children's tear-stained faces. He remembered the doctor's words: THEIR LIVES WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME.

"Sir, we've reviewed your children's physical and psychological tests." the doctor began, his voice hesitant.
"What is it?" Mr. Ryan asked, his voice barely a whisper. A wave of dread washed over them.
"Their tests came back abnormal."
"What do you mean?" James asked, his heart pounding.
"The results are inconsistent with their previous medical records. Our team has concluded that your children are now half-humanoid. Their eyes will change color based on their emotions. Additionally, their brains are functioning at a much faster rate than those of ordinary humans. We believe they may also experience memory loss, but that remains to be confirmed yet. We'll need to keep them under observation for further examination."
Docter Office Conversation End
The next morning sun streamed through the hospital windows, casting long shadows across the room. After hours of restless sleep, the children stirred and awoke, their faces etched with confusion.
"Son!!!!” Stella James approached Felix, her heart pounding in her chest. She said, her voice trembling,
Felix pushed her away gently, his eyes filled with uncertainty. "Who are you?"
“I'm your mother." Tears welled up in Stella's eyes.
"We don't remember anything. We were in a lab." Matthew shook his head.
Officer James clenched his fists, his heart sinking. His children had lost their memories.
After a week of observation, the children returned to university. Students and teachers alike were curious about their disappearance and the rumors that had circulated about the experiments performed on them. The children, however, could only offer blank stares, as their memories were just a blank slate.
Officer James noticed a disturbing change in his children and their friends. Their blood had turned into deep black, and their veins protruded ominously when they became angry. Despite their memory loss, their academic performance was nothing short of exceptional. The principal was so impressed that he announced they would all graduate in the following year, a feat that would normally take four years.
It was clear that the changes they had undergone were a direct result of Hades Erebus's experiments. The once innocent and carefree children had been transformed into something else entirely.

The air was thick with excitement and anticipation as the group gathered at Officer James's home. It was a momentous occasion, a celebration of their children's graduation from university. The victory over Hades Erebus, a year ago, still resonated in their hearts. After receiving treatment for eleven months at a mental hospital, he faced his trial and was ultimately sentenced to death for his heinous crimes.
Yet, amidst the joy of this celebration, there was an undercurrent of change. The children, once so full of life and laughter, seemed quieter, more reserved.
Matthew, once a carefree and mischievous boy, had matured into a serious and meticulous young man. He strived for perfection in everything he did, leaving no room for error. Felix, no longer the clingy and adorable child he once was, had also undergone a transformation. He was now a mature and responsible young adult.
Fiona, too, had mirrored her brothers' growth. She was no longer the playful and carefree girl she used to be. Like her brothers, she had become more serious and focused.
Hayden, his brother, and Sabrina had also experienced a similar metamorphosis. They had all embraced adulthood with a newfound sense of purpose and responsibility.
On the surface, it seemed like they were all living normal lives. But was it truly normal? The answer was uncertain, a question that lingered in the air like a silent specter.
