It was a weird day, Marinette wasn't feeling her best like a cold and have eaten too many cakes way. She felt like something exciting was going to happen.

Marinette walked with Alya towards the classroom, like every day in school. Everything was alright until two girls bumped into someone, Adrien Agreste. Mari was very nervous, and she nearly melted. Adrien had dropped all his books and Mari shyly picked the books up. 

'Thank you my la-book saving hero' Adrien said, nearly messing up his sentence and nearly giving his cover away. While Marinette blushed a lot, Adrien nervously smiled at her.

After a long five minutes of awkwardness, Alya dragged Marinette away and waved goodbye to Adrien. 

'What was that!?' Alya asked with curiosity.

'I picked up his books..'Marinette muttered, her face and mind were still in shock.

'I know, I have two fully working eyes that just witnessed the worst five minutes of awkward silence between you and the guy you have a massive crush on!'

'I picked up his books...'Marinette repeated her mutter again.

Alya placed her hands on her head, shaking her head.

'You sure did.' Alya giggled.

She said goodbye to her and walked off into class. Marinette had art today while Alya had music, so, unfortunately, they weren't in the same class. The problem was that Adrien sat next to her in art, and she struggled to speak to him in every lesson.

As soon as the lesson ended, Adrien turned towards Marinette.

'Hey Mari!!' Adrien greeted her with a cheerful smile on his face, 'I know that you are half Chinese, and I need a little bit of help for my Chinese exams, so I was wondering if you could help me?' He asked.

'S-sure!' Marinette answered, struggling with her words.

'Okay, is Wednesday good for you?' Adrien asked while looking through his calendar on his phone.

'Yes, yes it is!' She said quickly.

'Okay, so we could meet at this new restaurant that has just opened up. I think it would be a great opportunity for us to learn there, and we could even get a meal after and get to know each other more!' Adrien told her.

'C-cool!' Marinette smiled. Adrien asked for help, from her!! She was happily dancing inside her head with joy but was very shocked on the outside. After some painting later, the bell was rung and she met Alya, so they could eat lunch together.

'So before class, Adrien asked me for help with his Chinese! It's on Wednesday and we are meeting up at this new restaurant!'Marinette daydreamed about Adrien, but then she looked over to Alya,' What's wrong??' Marinette asked Alya, who seemed to laugh at this very hard.

'Mari, he didn't ask you to help him. He asked you on a date!!!!' She giggled.

'Wait, did you say d-d-date?!' Marinette looked shocked.

'Yes!! Well done Marinette?' Alya giggled and tried to wake up the fainted Marinette.
