It's a love story, baby just say yes (Chapter 7:Worth Living for, 21 and 24)

"I promise you will never find another one like me." – ME!

Rain walked into the house with a bagful of groceries and scented the air. Phayu was home, but his smell was off, and Rain's Omega was on full alert. "What is wrong with Alpha?" his wolf asked, sounding concerned. "I have no idea. But let us go and find out," Rain said, quickly moving towards the study, from where the scent was the most. This was the first time in three years that Rain had felt this uncomfortable in Phayu's scent and he was hell-bent on getting to the bottom of the mystery. As he moved closer to the study, the scent became stronger, and Rain's nose wrinkled in disgust.

"Phi?" he called out, walking in, looking around when he couldn't see Phayu at his desk. "Phi?" he cried out, running the moment he saw Phayu lying next to the small coffee table next to the couch. "Are you okay Phi?" he asked, running his hands all over Phayu's body, trying to see if his Alpha was hurt in any form or manner. But Phayu seemed okay as he opened his eyes. "What happened Phi? I am worried now," Rain said, tears filling his eyes. "Nothing is wrong Pumpkin! Nothing!" Phayu said, sitting up in a hurry, petrified at Rain's tears. "Then why are you lying here like this Phi? Your scent is so sour. I felt horrible when I walked in," Rain said, unable to keep the worry out of his voice.

Phayu smiled and pulled Rain closer to him, burying his nose in his Omega's neck, his frangipani scent seeping into his own cells. From a very young age, Rain had had the extraordinary ability to calm Phayu down, and he was doing that even now. "Can you tell me now, what happened Phi?" Rain asked. "Well Pumpkin, I have been assigned the most horrible client," Phayu sighed, as he lay his head on Rain's lap, and closing his eyes. A slight headache gnawed at the edges of his consciousness, but suddenly, Rain's hands were in his hair, slowly massaging his scalp. He could feel the remnants of his stressed day fading bit by bit under Rain's gentle ministrations. "Can you talk about it Phi?" Rain asked him. He sighed and then nodded.

Phayu continued to lie in Rain's lap as he recounted the events of the past week. "So there is this couple. They are getting married soon. It's easy to see that they are not compatible, because they don't seem to agree on anything. Moreover, the female is so crass. She keeps hitting on me and P'Mhok. He looks as uncomfortable as I feel Pumpkin," Phayu said. "And you didn't speak to the management?" Rain asked, livid on behalf of his Alpha. "We did. They said that if that keeps the business with them, we should put up with a bit of flirting. No big deal," Phayu said. Rain barely controlled himself, wanting to tear this person, whoever she was, from limb from limb.

"Then what happened Phi?" he asked, his entire focus on his mate and his mood. Even though Phayu's scent had calmed a bit, he could still sense the sourness in it. "Well, they kept changing their minds, and the woman was becoming even more irritating, and today things came to a head," Phayu said, and Rain could feel him stiffening, undoing all the efforts he had put in in making sure his mate was calming down. "What happened today Phi?" Rain asked, dreading his Alpha's reply. "Today she came in alone. I was working in the design room with Mhok. He stepped out to get us some coffee, and she walked in there, almost as if she owned the place. She tried to touch me and when I stepped back, she started screaming harassment and said that I had touched her inappropriately. Mhok came rushing back, but the thing is that nothing I can say can prove her wrong. There are no cameras in that room for fear of leaked designs. So nothing I say is standing. I don't want to go to the family, because that will just mess things all the more, but the management is not doing a thing despite the fact that we had warned them that this might happen," Phayu said, voice breaking at the end.

Rain growled and Phayu jolted at the sound. "Pumpkin?" he asked, sounding concerned. "If you don't tell the family Phi, then I will! I mean it! We have family for a reason. Not telling them about something this important is only going to come back and bite you in the ass Phi. And I refuse to, excuse my language, let this bitch go at any cost. You know me well enough Phi. If I can grill my whole family for keeping me away from you for three years, and tell off literal Goddesses, this woman stands no chance!" Rain said, his eyes glinting in anger. Phayu could only stare at him in wonder. He was not surprised or shocked though, because what Rain had mentioned, he had seen that firsthand.

Three years ago:

"Can we be this close forever and ever Phi?" Rain said, cupping Phayu's face, his smile finally reaching his eyes, after almost three years. "Rain," Phayu whispered, his heart full as he stared at his beautiful mate. He had waited three years for this moment, in utmost fear and desperation, that Rain would reject him. But here was sweet little Pumpkin, right where he belonged, in his arms. "You will tell me everything and then I will tell you everything, but before that, I need you to do something for me," Rain said. "Do what? I will do anything!" Phayu said, taking Rain hands into his own. Rain released his hands and cupped around Phayu's cheeks, looking into his eyes, as if searching for something in them. Then he stepped more into Phayu's space, before sliding his arms around Phayu's neck, rising on his toes and slotted his lips against his Alpha's.

Phayu's eyes widened before they slowly closed in bliss as his hands went around Rain's waist, holding him in place as their kiss went from soft and sweet to the desperate plundering of mouths, dancing of tongues, as they moved in even closer to each other, not even space for air. Rain moaned, the action making Phayu's knees buckle with desire. He could feel himself becoming harder, but this was not the place. He lifted Rain up, his hands under Rain's ass and the Omega locked his ankles around his Alpha's waist, allowing himself to be carried upstairs in style. He latched on to Phayu's lips again, his mind turning to mush, but not letting go of his mate.

As soon as the door closed behind them, Phayu pinned Rain to the wall, still carrying him, lips still locked as they dived into a sweltering hot kiss, that was all teeth and tongue. Rain gripped Phayu's hair, not wanting to fall, but he knew his Alpha would not the that happen. Phayu's hands dug into Rain's hips, and Rain knew for sure that they would leave bruises but he could not care less. This was what he wanted.. what he needed; this madness, this thrill in the blood, as they both burnt out the frustrations of the last three years. Phayu whirled around and carried Rain to the bed. He dropped Rain on it. Rain bounced on it with an 'oomph'. He didn't even have time to catch his breath before Phayu pounced on him,

He leaned back, trying to unbutton Rain's shirt, but it felt like too much work, so he just held the ends and tore it apart, buttons flying everywhere. Rain gasped, but before he could do more than that, Phayu had set his teeth on Rain's collarbone. Rain bucked as Phayu bit him, then moaned as the Alpha soothed the bite with a soft lick. Phayu continued his assault on Rain, sucking hickeys into every inch of visible skin. Rain's neck had a veritable necklace of deep red and purple marks, but Phayu could not seem to stop. Or care. Or even think beyond the haze that clouded his brain. He had imagined taking Rain sweet and slow when they would come together for the first time. In fact, he had been dreaming of this moment for the past three years. But when push came to shove, he could not control himself.

And Rain was not helping either, his moans and mewling cries turning Phayu on even more. He pulled back and looked at his handiwork. Although Phayu was not even half way done, Rain lay on the bed as if completely fucked. His upper body was covered with sweat, his face streaked with tears, his hair stuck to his forehead. Phayu pulled down Rain's pants and underwear and gulped at the sight of his Omega's cock. It was big, but not too much, and would fit perfectly in his hands and mouth, pink, as the blood rushed to it, already leaking copious amounts of pre-cum. The back of his thighs were wet with slick. Phayu licked his lips in delight as his eyes moved down his mate's body. He stopped at the sight of the newly formed tattoo that lay beautifully etched on Rain's hip. He softly traced its outline and then blew on it, just as soft. Rain sighed and melted into the bed.

Phayu gently kissed the tattoo. "Rain," he whispered onto his lover's skin, and Rain lifted his head off the pillow and looked at Phayu. "I love you," Phayu said, and Rain's eyes filled with tears. "Phi?" he said, his voice a mere whisper. "I have loved you for so long, and you feel like a dream to me. Are you really here?" Phayu asked, the tremor betraying his innermost feelings. "I am here Phi, very much here," Rain said, a scant second before Phayu kissed his tattoo. "Phi," Rain moaned. Phayu sucked the skin around it, leaving it red. Then he moved, making Rain groan as he sucked his thighs. He knew Rain was over stimulated, but he couldn't seem to care. Rain bucked, and Phayu put his hands on his hips, locking it in place. "Don't move!" he growled, shocking Rain into silence.

Phayu turned Rain around, pushing his face on the pillow and lifting his ass up. The scent of Rain's slick had permeated the whole room and coated Phayu's senses. He spread Rain's legs and bent down, taking one single swipe at his hole. Rain keened, and Phayu put his tongue into his hole, licking him, going deeper and deeper. He felt the exact moment when Rain was about to come, and he immediately stopped. He turned Rain on his back. "Are you ready baby?" he asked. Rain nodded, unable to form words. Phayu split his legs and hooked one on his own shoulder, and balancing himself, he thrust slowly into Rain. Rain's slick, plus the fact that he had rimmed Rain, made him loose enough for Phayu's cock, but Phayu still went slow. Rain stiffened for a moment. "Relax love," Phayu said, and felt Rain slowly ease out. Phayu went further in, his thrusts slowly increasing in speed. He let himself be guided by the sounds Rain made, and knew exactly when he hit his Omega's prostrate. The moment he felt that Rain was about to come again, he bent down and sank his fangs into Rain's scent gland. Rain screamed, and orgasmed, ropes of cum coating his abdomen. He raised his head and did the same to Phayu, his ass clenching around Phayu's cock, who came with a shout of his own!

Rain woke up in degrees the next morning, his whole body aching and warm. He slit his eyes open, wondering why he was in a furnace. He suddenly registered that there was a weight around his waist. He looked down and his eyes widened in surprise at the hand that lay across his stomach. That's when the events of the previous night hit him with all the clarity of a semi. He gently turned around in Phayu's arms and raised his himself on his elbow, looking down at his Alpha. He smiled, his heart singing in joy at the sight of his man right next to him. He admired the mark he had put on Phayu, the silver wolf standing out against Rain's slightly tanned skin. Three years, he and Phayu had needlessly suffered, because stupid people could not tell the truth. He couldn't wait to get a hold of his family members and the clan Elders. His face contorted with anger, his irritation growing. He quietly slipped out of bed. He desperately needed a shower before anything else, because despite Phayu having cleaned him up after their first time and second time, by the third time, they had been too exhausted to even move.

Phayu stirred, already missing Rain in his arms. He heard the sound of the shower and smiled. He immediately got out of bed, needing Rain again. He couldn't imagine the desire he felt for the man. Now that he had a taste, he was definitely not willing to let go, and luckily, he wouldn't have to. He entered the bathroom just in time to see Rain step out of the shower. "Already done Pumpkin?" he asked, as soon as he saw his Omega, admiring the gorgeous black wolf etched on his neck. "Yes Phi. You can get ready and come down. There is much needed to be done. I will wait for you," Rain said, as he walked past Phayu, dropping an absent kiss on his cheek. Phayu stared at Rain's back, surprised, and a bit concerned. Although, there was a time when he could proudly say he knew his Pumpkin in and out. But a lot had changed in these past years, and he had to find everything about him again.

Rain sat quietly at the breakfast table that had been set out, not looking up at the elders as he pushed the food around on his plate. Although it should have been a joyful time, the air was oppressive and suffocating. The silence was smothering and no one had any idea what to say. Sky, Dao and Aew looked at each other and finally, Sky took courage in his hands. "Rain? Is everything okay baby?" he asked gently. Rain looked up, his grey eyes cold as winter. "Of course I am fine Sky. Why wouldn't I be? I was only kept away from my mate for three years. And everyone knew!" he said, his voice as frigid as his eyes. The younger generation looked absolutely shocked as their gazes swung between Rain and Phayu and then the elders. The elders hung their heads. "Rain, it was not that we didn't want to tell you, it was just that..," Type trailed off when Rain turned his head towards his father. "It was just that it was fun times for two Goddesses and you went along with it?" he asked, his voice rising in octaves as his anger ratcheted.

"What?" Saifah asked, his voice hoarse, as if he was just trying to control himself from screaming. His mate, Chai, one of the newer guards, put his hand on Saifah's shoulder to keep him grounded. Rain recounted what he had been told, with Phayu adding bits and pieces from what he had been told at turning 18 himself. The silence on the table was deafening. No one spoke for the longest time. Suddenly Pai shot up. "You all knew this for three years and you didn't tell us? Have you any idea what Phayu went through? What Rain went through? What we went through, seeing them both suffer immeasurably?" he said. Everyone looked shocked by Pai's outburst. "We are the ones who told them not to say anything. It was supposed to happen in its own time and in its own way," Eun-bi said. "And what if that way had harmed themselves in some way?" Dao asked, worry in his tone. "Or what if either of them had decided it was not worth it and not waited for the other?" Aew asked, his anger clear.

It had taken months before Rain had completely forgiven his family, but in the end, he was a kind and forgiving person, and he could not stay angry at them for too long. Phayu had stayed constantly by his side, his support and love for Rain a healing balm for both of them . The harsh troubles of the past were put behind them and they started something wonderfully theirs. There were moments of doubts, hesitation, even questions, but there were no regrets. Both of them just healed together and loved each other as much as they could.

Present day:

Rain strode into the house, Phayu in tow. He had called in advance so everyone was waiting in Vegas and Pete's house. He was livid about what had happened and he was going to get justice for his Alpha, even if he had to tear that Omega apart so that her body would never be found. Fortunately, he was a future Theerpanayakul and he was not afraid to use his family name, even if Phayu didn't want to. He slumped down on the sofa, pouting and looking away from Phayu. "And what has happened to our little sunshine?"" Pete asked, as looked between his son and future son in-law. "I am angry!" Rain said, huffing out a breath and pouting even more. Everyone refrained from laughing. It was so hard not to do that when Rain looked like the cutest little bunny when he was angry. "Ven? What is the matter? What did you do?" Vegas asked, glaring at his son. ""Phi didn't do anything. His office did," Rain said, finally turning around. "Explain!" was all Kinn said.

Phayu recounted everything that he had told Rain. "And what does the management plan to do?" Kim asked, anger lacing his tone. "Nothing! Nothing Uncle Kim!" Rain said, huffy again. "What do you want to do lu?" Tharn asked. Before Phayu could say anything, Rain spoke up. "He doesn't want to do anything. Only make me super angry!" he said, sounding disdainful. Saifah snorted, then hid it in a cough, as Phayu glared at him. "Then we will do what is necessary," Porche said, temper lighting up in his eyes. "No," Rain said. "No?" Type looked surprised. "No. I will take care of it," Rain said resolutely. "And what are you going to do?" Sky asked, worry bleeding in his tone. Rain didn't utter a word, just smiled.

Two days later, Rain walked into Phayu's office, with a determined look on his face. He knew for sure that the clients were coming that day, and he was going to make sure that everyone knew who Phayu belonged to. And thankfully, he had the backing of the entire family. He had carefully chosen his dress for the day. He was wearing a pale pink shirt, his buttons opened till the third button, with navy trousers, his mate mark clearly showing above the neckline. His silver hair and grey eyes were absolute crowd pullers, and people stared as he walked past all the desks in the office as if he owned the place. He stopped at the door of the conference room for a moment and took a deep breath. He could smell the acrid scent that permeated the room even outside. Two Alphas in distress and the very air stank. How could others not feel it lingering in the air? Under that oppressive scent was another, a floral one, but the aroma was putrid, almost as if a corpse was rotting under roses. As an extremely superior Omega, his sense of smell was very high, and that meant that what he was feeling was going to play a large part in how he was going to handle this situation.

He opened the door and walked in making everyone look up. Everyone stilled as he walked, his very presence drawing all the attention on him. Without uttering a word, he walked to the head of the table and sat down, crossing his legs and leaning back. "Who the hell are you?" the Omega asked, frowning. Her Alpha, if he could be called that, leered at Rain, his eyes roving over Rain's body in a way that could only be called lecherous. Rain ignored both of them and looked towards Phayu and Mhok. Phayu nodded slightly. "I ask again! Who are you?" the Omega asked. "My name is Varain Theerpanayakul," he said calmly, noting how Phayu's scent softened at Rain's use of his surname. He knew that Phayu did not use his surname at work, which meant that what he was about to do was going to have repercussions of the highest degree. Was it the right thing to do? Probably not. Did he care about that? Absolutely not. He was here for revenge, and he looked the part.

The other couple looked at Rain. While the Omega showed no reaction, the Alpha looked petrified. Ah! Looked like someone had brains. "So? Why are you here?" she asked. "Looks like your Alpha knows who I am. And as for as why I am here, let me make that clear," Rain said, standing up, leaning forward and slamming his hands down on the table. The Alpha had enough fear to lean back, his eyes downcast, but the Omega wasn't interested in backing off. That meant this became much more fun. "I am here to tell you.. no, make that warn you, not to fucking bother my Alpha!" he said, looking directly into the Omega's eyes! "Huh! As if I am going to listen to a child!" she said, disdainfully. "Are you sure?" Rain asked. She hmphed and had the audacity to look down her nose upon him.

Rain clasped his right hand around her throat and lifted her in the air. She struggled desperately, but Rain had no give. She started to claw at her throat as he her feet dangled. "My Alpha is out of bounds, you understand? If you try to cross your boundaries, you will know the wrath of not only the entire Theerpanayakul clan, but also that of the True Omega! Do you understand?" he asked, his voice soft, almost as if he was talking to a small child. If it hadn't been for the absolutely murderous and deranged look in his eyes, no one would have even known he was angry. The woman tried to nod, incoherent words falling from her mouth. Rain let her go, and she dropped to the floor with a thud. Her Alpha tried to help her, but Rain put a finger on his chest and leaned into his space. "Never dare to look at another person as long as you are a couple. If I hear that you tried to taint the purity of a mate bond, you will never live to see the next hour, alright?" he said. The man nodded frantically. "Now take this trash out of my mate's sight and office!" Rain barked out, and several Theerpanayakul guards moved in, led by Chai, and dragged the couple away.

Rain sat back down in the same casual manner as he had before, fingers tapping on his knees. Phayu and Mhok had not moved, their scents completely calm. While Phayu's was tinged with arousal, which nearly made Rain lick his lips in desire, Mhok's scent was drenched with gratitude, making Rain smile. He could see from Phayu's face that he was curious why Rain was still there, but before he could say anything, the door burst open and some members of the management rushed in. "What the hell is happening here?" one of the men shouted. Phayu was about to react to how his mate was being spoken to, but a tiny gesture from Rain made him quiet. His Pumpkin was amazingly different for sure. "I just sent away your client," Rain said calmly. "What? Who gave you the authority to do so?" another man asked. Chai had come back by then and he put a file in Rain's hand. "Well, with the authority of being the owner of the hellhole you call a company," he said. "What? What the hell are you talking about?" the first man asked. "You allowed clients like that to come into your company. You were greedy enough that you allowed your employees to feel uncomfortable. Despite the situation they were facing, you chose to look away. Did you think that I would just look away as my Alpha was being harassed? Did you think the Theerpanayakul Clan would turn a blind eye to your sweeping their heir's obvious discomfort under a handy rug?" Rain laughed.

Hegot up and opened the door of the conference room where they originally hadbeen seated and face all the employees of the company. "From today, as of tenminutes ago, this company belongs to Phayu Saengtham, also known as VeniceTheerpanayakul, Alpha, oldest and the heir of the Clan and his Omega, VarainKirigun. That's me. And every single member of your management has now beenfired," Rain said, sending an uproar throughout the organisation. "You can'tdo that!" the woman said. "P'Chai, get these flies out myoffice. Also let Dad Vegas and Uncle Kinn know in case anyone tries to createany trouble," Rain said, before turning away and walking straight to Phayu andjumping into his arms. "You are quite something Pumpkin!" Phayu said softly, just for Rain to hear. "Of course Phi! I promise you will never find anotherlike me!" Rain said, smiling broadly at his Mate and Alpha!
