Sleepless Night
Don't we all love the sleepless nights that tend to go by? The thoughts that we intend to get, and the multiplied emotions that some receive?
Watching the moon out of pure boredom, while breathing the cold night air calmly, while trying to sort out our thoughts.
How we all seem to think in foreign languages that nobody but us can understand before we translate those thoughts into the language loudly spoken?
It's calm.
There are people somewhere, that are wishing for something in their lives to happen. People waiting for miracles, happiness, or emotion in general.
Couples sharing their love when together, while the lonely people go online out of boredom, making friends while cracking jokes and smiles.
It's so peaceful to think about.
Sitting on the roof with nothing in hand, a girl looked up at the sky, admiring the full moon that was staring at her, as if trying to talk.
It was calming. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The girl and the moon were exchanging silent words as they continued facing eachother. The animals outside were either silent, or having their own words exchanged in their own special language.
It was helping her forget. Forget all of her problems she had in life. How she was alone, how her friends were all gone. Her other half dead, found on his bed with only blood pooling inside of his mouth with crimson drops surrounding him.
She wanted to join them all. Heaven, hell, or any form of afterlife, she wanted to have company again. She wished she wasn't going to be as lonely, but here she is, imagining the moon talking to her, whispering words of comfort to her.
Everything felt so, so empty. Like she was stuck in an empty room, without any means to escape. A windowless room, with no way to see what was happening outside.
Her vision became more and more clouded, until lights became stars in her eyes, and everything else blended blurs of color. The ends of those stars were extending all over the place, giving her a headache once again.
Then, she began thinking.
What if she were to die? Would she betray her own words? Would she simply let everyone she's gotten to know down?
Would she let those people that were feeling positive every night down, by ruining this one? She'd betray the moon.
Accepting life for another day and night, she got up and began walking towards the window inside of the roof
Only to slip,
And fall to a painful death, with the metal fence that was surrounding the backyard being stabbed inside her torso causing her body to twitch in the imense pain she was feeling.
She had just died, and failed at living another 24 hours. She had betrayed those positive people, the moon, and the promises she had made when she was once happy.
She had also failed herself.
