A Silent Lullaby

Music is the beautiful interpretation of sound, especially created for our minds to basically absorb, examine, and either accept or dislike the rhythm, lyrics, anything.

Lullabies are a softer version of music. The words hang in the silence of an almost empty room.

They are the songs mothers sing to help their children sleep. Songs that may have so many feelings stored inside.

Lullabies are known for their soft and caring melodies. For how calming they are, and how however silent they are, our minds still perfectly hear them, and often times they get stuck in our heads.

It's not because of how catchy it may be, but probably because our mind knows and embraces the comfort the voice- the singer shares with us. The comfort that it covers us in like a big, fluffy blanket on a colder night.

And someone seems to have a certain lullaby stuck in their head, but with only the melody. The voice- now nonexistent, can't seem to make any noise, although the lullaby is only the voice.

Isn't it strange? Not even a hum. It's still that music that their mind hears and somehow, even now, finds comfort in, but the voice is long forgotten. The soft voice of the singer, now one with the windy whispers.

Unknown.

But as they approach the stone, the voice singing the lullaby slowly appears, getting louder and more emotionally unstable as it continues.

Oh, how much emotion can do to a silent lullaby.

How much emotion can do to us.

How broken we can be is unbelievable.

But we somehow fix that song, and resing it with softer and quieter words again, with the comfort once again covering us like that blanket.

The flower was put on the grave, and silent words were exclaimed.

That silent lullaby now became calm, and slowly faded into the wind.

Acceptance is important.
