I've been reading a lot in recent weeks on the increasing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics. What would the world look like if we can no longer use these drugs to cure common infections?

How will the fear of infections affect social interactions? 

How will fear of injury and open wounds affect our physical lives?

I'd love to read some great SF that focuses on these issues.
